Finished my Second Season with Lazio. Got knocked out of the Coppa Italia in the Second Round, which was kind of a blessing as I had a lot of in Europe to deal with this Season anyway. Won my Champions League Group beating Man United, Celtic and Atletico Madrid in the process, then knocked out Bayern Munich and Porto before being beaten in the Semi Finals 5-0 on Aggregate by Real Madrid. Won Serie A on the last day of the Season by 3 points ahead of Milan, with Signing Luuk de Jong scoring 49 Goals in 47 in all Competitions, 36 in 33 in the League. Class Player. At the end of the Season, I received offers from the following; - Lazio - - - Real Madrid - Chelsea - Borussia Dortmund - Bayern Munich It was a tough decision as I wanted to build on my Lazio Side and make them win Europe, but there wasn't really enough funds to make them evolve much more than they already were. Therefore I decided to go to Chelsea and test the Premier League. Couldn't believe it when I scrolled all the way down the Squad to find none other than Kaka sitting at the very bottom of the list. Sold Lampard ironically to Lazio for £10,500,000, Kalou for £8,500,000 and Benayoun for £6,000,000. Bought Christian Eriksen (88) for £54,000,000, and 20 year old Winger Jose Manuel Iturbe (86) for £57,000,000. Fair to say I had an absolute mare of a first Season in charge at Chelsea. Went out of the FA Cup in the first Round to Manchester City, and out of the Carling Cup in the second Round. I then went out at the Group Stage of the Champions League in a Group that had Marseille, Celtic and FC Zurich, but because of that Qualified for the Europa League. I actually thought this was a blessing as I'd never won this Competition before on any FIFA Game as I'd usually always Qualified for the Champions League. However I got all the way to the Semi Finals, drew 1-1 Away at Werder Bremen then lost the Second Leg 5-2 at Home to get knocked out at the final hurdle. I had such an Injury struck Season though, with Torres out for half the Season, Mata, Ashley Cole and Iturbe also all out for long periods. I pulled together a run of about 14 straight wins in the League at the end of the Season though to go top on Goal Difference with only 3 to go. But, I let in a 90th minute equaliser to Fulham in my third to last Game and finished Second, despite losing just 2 all Season. If I didn't concede that Goal I would of won the Premiership on not Goal Difference, but Goals Scored For. Gutting. They decided to keep me on though, and at the end of the Season I had offers from Inter Milan, FC Porto, PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord. I was wondering if I was yet ready to take charge at one of the biggest Clubs and wether I'd gone to Chelsea too early, and was so close to going with Porto for a few years before going back to a Big Club again, but with only a £20,000,000 budget I decided otherwise and stayed at Chelsea. Signed Alexandre Pato for £38,000,000, and Sidney Sam for £12,000,000 for some extra cover in Midfield. I've never been much of a fan of Pato though, and was originally going for the likes of Cavani, Falcao, Sergio Aguero, Lavezzi, Robben, but couldn't get any of them, and ended up going for Pato who should be class at Chelsea. City came in on Deadline Day with a £59,000,000 bid for Christian Eriksen which I turned down. End of the day if I was to sell him then who else is there to replace him with? He's probably the best young CAM on the Game. Wasn't that good in the first Season but he's been on fire the start of this Season, different level. Lost the first Game of the Season 3-1 to Spurs, but since then I've been on form, beating Arsenal 5-2 at the Emirates, Leicester 4-0, Wigan 5-1 Away, Carlisle in the Cup, Man United at Home 3-1 and Sevilla 6-0. Current Line Up is; GK: Cech LB: A. Cole CB: J. Terry CB: David Luiz RB: Bosingwa CDM: Essien LM: Kaka RM: Jose Manuel Iturbe CAM: C. Eriksen ST: Fernando Torres ST: Alexandre Pato Subs; 1. R. Lukaku 2. Mata 3. S. Sam 4. Ramires 5. Raul Meireles 6. B. Clifford 7. R. Bertrand End of my 4th Season I won just one Trophy being the League Cup, which was another dissapointment. Starting my 5th Season (third with Chelsea), I Signed Mario Gotze and Nathaniel Clyne in the Transfer Window and things started really well despite a minor blip going out o the League Cup in the first Round. I was Top of the League very tight with City and Spurs all the way until January, when Christian Eriksen (89) dropped a bombshell on me and wanted to leave the Club. This was a huge shock as his morale bar was almost fully green and he'd played almost every Game. I had no choice but to offload him to Real Madrid, and use the funds to bring in the next best option in Javier Pastore (88). I also sold Fernando Torres and bought Edison Cavani for £40,000,000, and Ranocchia from Inter Milan for £23,500,000. Iturbe had finally found his form and finished the Season with well over 40 Goals. From here on though things got really tough, as I had a period in which I had Arsenal twice in the FA Cup, City in the FA Cup Semi, followed by Barcelona in the Champions League Semi Finals twice, with Premier League Games against Spurs, Arsenal, Man City, Man United and Liverpool all back to back with no other Games inbetween. Never in my life have I seen a harder Fixture list than this, and it was fair to say that this killed me. My Squad were nackered with Games every 3 days and no time to recover. I went out to Barca 2-0 on Aggregate, managed to see off Arsenal and City in the FA Cup, but ended up losing to Arsenal, United and Liverpool all in the 90th minute, which ultimately cost me the Season. Despite this I still somehow finished Second by 3 points, but these late losses cost me. I won the FA Cup against Spurs in the Final though. Entering my 6th Season now, and this will be my last crack at the Prem. Signed Fabio Coentrao (86) for £25,000,000 despite him wanting £260,000 a week! Also signed Defensive Midfielder Casemiro (85) from Sao Paulo for £23,500,000. Got hold of a 10* Scout too who's bringing in a heap load of good Young Player which I'm going to Loan Out. Current Line Up for the 2017/2018 Season is; GK: T. Coutois (82) RB: N. Clyne (81) CB: David Luiz (86) CB: A. Ranocchia (87) LB: Fabio Coentrao (86) RCM: J. Pastore (88) CDM: Casemiro (85) LCM: M. Gotze (87) RW: J. Iturbe (87) ST: E. Cavani (88) RW: Alexandre Pato (89) Subs: 1. R. Lukaku 2. Mata 3. S. Sam 4. Neymar 5. P. Cech 6. Pedro Tavero 7. Roberto Aguado Just beat Champions Man City 7-0 in the Charity Shield. Also just got Neymar on a Season long Loan with the option to buy him at the end for £50,500,000.

Second season going well sofar, up until January 1st when Hernandéz told me he wanted to leave. He'd told me before he was unsettled but that he loved the club and he wanted to stay, so it was a bit of a surprise. He's worth £18m but I wanted £25m for him, so instantly rejected the first bid of £15m from Bayern. The board then insisted I sell soon because of paper talk, but luckily the next day Inter bid £25m, so I'm gonna send him to Italy. Will use the money to bump my budget to £65m, which I intend to use £47m of to sign Christian Eriksen and the other £18m of to either sign some world class scouts or maybe a young player, although I can't really think of a position where I need to line up a replacement soon (perhaps striker once Rooney gets on, but tahts a few years away yet, plus I need to make sure that the player is an all rounder like Rooney is).

Just finished this January Transfer window. Never had one remotely like it. To put it into context: In the summer I was given £45m, and I sold a few youngsters (Drinkwater, Pogba, Morrisson) to bump that up to £60m. I then bought a bloke called Assaidi on the LW to replace Giggs for £15m. I wanted to spend the remaining £45m on a CAM like Pjanic or Pastore as Kroos had been a bit dissapointing, but both rejected me so I went into January with £45m to spend. Over the first half of the season I scouted some CAMs and came to the conclusion that Eriksen would be the best use of my money. As well as that Hernandez kept saying he was unsettled but that he liked me and the club so didn't want to leave. In December my team looked like this: De Gea Lahm Vidic Ferdinand Evra Kroos Cambiasso Schweinstieger Nani Rooney Young Bench: Lindengaard Smalling Jones Anderson Assaidi Berbatov Hernandez Squad: Evans Rafael Fabio Barrera Park Fletcher Valencia Wellbeck Owen Hernandez then said he wanted to leave at the start of January. I wasn't that annoyed as he was a backup to Rooney and an offer of £25m put in by Inter was £7m over his worth. I sold him and then bought Eriksen for £47m, leaving £23m to spend on either a replacement for Hernandez or a CB to replace Ferdinand, as he was starting to go downhill. I was debating this when, about halfway through January, a £13m offer came in for Wellbeck, £2m above his worth. I accepted, and although I was down to just Rooney, Berba and Owen up top, I was still pretty happy as I only played 1 striker anyway. Then, suddenly, Rooney came out of nowhere and said he wanted to leave. I was gobsmacked, as he had always been happy and was a crucial member of my team, the player I was least likely to ever sell. I decided I wouldn't sell him, and that he would probably change his mind soon anyway. The next day I got 2 bids for him. The first from Arsenal was a joke (£55m, and Rooney was worth £77m), so I didn't have high hopes for the second, from Real Madrid. However, when I looked at it, they had offered £101m. £101 million pounds. I was really torn, but decided I couldn't really turn that money down. I instantly set about trying to buy the one person who I thought could fill Rooney's boots as an all round world-class striker - Cristiano Ronaldo. Rooney was rated 92 and worth £77m, whilst Ronaldo was rated 93 and worth £68m. With the £101m I recieved from Real Madrid I instantly tried to give the bulk back, eventually settling on £88m. I had now swapped Rooney for Ronaldo with a £13m profit, almost all of which I had to put into wages for Ronaldo and another top signing. I was left with £38m, and decided that I was going to replace Ferdinand. I then thought that, as I had brought one player back from La Liga for a second spell at Old Trafford, I might as well do it again, purchasing Pique for £30m. I had £8m left with three days of January to go, and decided that I wanted another striker. However, £8m wasn't enough to go for a decent striker, so I looked to see if I could sell anyone. I realised that, if I shifted Smalling to the right in my backup team and played Ferdinand in the centre (creating a backup back 4 of Smalling-Jones-Ferdinand-Barrera, a kid from my youth squad) I could afford to sell both Rafael and Fabio, who were worth £6.5m each. I put both on the transfer list, and Stoke (who had just become a mega-rich club) bought Rafael for £6.5m instantly, leaving me with £14.5m going into deadline day, where I had never spend any money before. I made offers for Cassano and Llorente, both for £14.5m, and I was deciding which one to offer a contract to when Stoke made another £6.5m bid, this time for Fabio. I accepted and then ignored my 2 previous bids, instead placing a £21m bid in for Negrado, which was accepted, completeing my massive January overhaul. My new team looks like this: De Gea Lahm Vidic Pique Evra Eriksen Cambiasso Schweinsteiger Nani Ronaldo Young Bench: Lindengaard Ferdinand Jones Kroos Assaidi Berbatov Negrado Squad: Evans Smalling Barrera Park Fletcher Anderson Valencia Owen I think my team is better now, but I've never had such a mental window on any FIFA or FM game.

Mike it popped up on my FIFA you'd sold Rooney, I was like 'what's he up to?' but fair play.
Playing as Chelsea on career, 2nd in the league in January, only lost 1 game all season, 4-0 away to Newcastle... I had FIFA rage after that haha.
My team:
Cech
Bosingwa Ivanovic Terry Cole
Fernando Essien Hamsik
Sturridge Cavani Mata
Subs: Hilario, David Luiz, Meireles, Lampard, Ramires, Shaqiri, Neymar.
Drogba, Torres, Mikel, Kalou, Malouda all gone. Trying to reshape them a bit, but Lampard has been vital off the bench.
Hamsik has 12 in 20 games and Cavani has 25 in 20. Other than them we struggle to score, unless Lampard is playing. Neymar is a joke. He has 3 in 17,and I paid 70 mil :$
Still, I'm trying to get some youth into the squad and want to edge out Cech and Bosingwa next.

They really need to fix the transfers in Career Mode, the sheer amount of them is annoying and it seems everytime I start a new Career it's the same transfers that happens (Berbatov to Everton, Sneijder to Manchester City and Sagna to Manchester City).

Nani to Spurs is a pretty common one for me also. I don't really play Manager Mode at all because of it. Don't see why they don't just make transfers random

Nani to Spurs happens on mine aswell, as is Modric to United.

City do seem addicted to signing Midfielders on it and hardly nothing else, remember playing against them with my Leeds team and they had Santa Cruz and Alex Nimely upfront, presume they sold Aguero, Dzeko, Balotelli & Tevez

On one of my mates games (have a picture of it somewhere), they started with Wayne Bridge as a lone striker, then bought on Carlos Tevez after about 60 minutes. Utterly ridiculous. In my United one they had, youth player Alex Nimley up front with Keita from Barca. I was united so I ripped them to shreads. Started a new career with the aim to go from Leauge 2 to the Prem title by changing clubs. I did it last year with 8 seasons, starting with Morcambe ending at Chelsea. This year I plan to do the same. Picked Shrewsbury as my first team, they are far too good for L2. Drew PSG in pre-season then after a draw in my first league game went undefeated in all competitions (which included Carling Cup wins over Championship sides Bristol and Middlesbough and Prem sides QPR and Everton. They just got so much pace, they're unstoppable. One piece of trasnfer I did was to sell a striker and replace him with Noble on loan from West Ham (played default teams, not with the update) Put the rest of the money into a decent scout. Already got some good youths in the club so I'm hoping that can grow with the youth system I got set up. Am first at the moment with something like 12 points clear. I plan on staying first, gain promotion and stay with the team. Firstly because theres a lot of young players (and youth system) and I don't think there will be a better team in L1.

Scott Sinclair told me during the middle of January that he wanted to leave. He had scored 30 goals at this point. I rejected four bids for him including a £17m bid from Chelsea. So the day before transfer deadline day, bloody Chelsea stick in a £11m bid and the board accepts. Also get an email to say they have sold my keeper - I didn't even get any bids for him and they didn't tell me to get rid of him. Really annoying. Signed Goodwillie on deadline day and he's been crap so far. Good job I've got Welbeck in great form and Macheda playing okay. Makinwa is doing alright as a sub and I have Ciro and Connelly out on loan so I'll have them back soon.
Frustrating game sometimes.

Put my Tottenham Career Mode on hold, as wanted a bit more of a challenge. Started a new one in charge of Blackburn. Am currently in the top half and really enjoying things. Signed a few midfielders and defenders, then ran out of money. Current starting line-up is:
GK: Robinson (78) RB: Jallet (78) RCB: Samba (79) LCB: Dann (78) LB: Olsson (75) RCM: Schmiedebach (76) CM: N'Zonzi (76) (C) LCM: Pederson (78) RW: Hoilett (77) ST: Goodwillie (76) LW: Vukcevic (77)
Had a good 3-3 home draw with Tottenham and entertaining 3-2 home defeat to Chelsea. Managed to lose to Wigan again (1-0) and 4-2 at home to Swansea. Had a ridiculous patch where I beat Sunderland 4-3 away, drew 4-4 at home with West Brom and beat Bolton 5-2 at home. Just lost 2-1 away to Liverpool, then it's off to Old Trafford!

Wow the wheels have well and truely come off my season. Was sitting 3rd in the league with 8 games left, 4 points behind City and 2 behind United. I lost to bottom-placed Cardiff (my fault, I made 11 changes, the average age of my team must have been 20), then lost my FA Cup semi-final to Arsenal 3-1 and then was played off the park by 16th placed Sunderland. So I'm now 3rd with 10 points between me and City, and I'm out of the cup. 6 games left, looks like I won't be retaining my title. I'm playing as Swansea by the way, so the Cardiff defeat hurt the most!
