Yeah they must've had a licencing row if the Czechs have been taken out, because they're a decent team.

Wales are not in FIFA 12 either. Don't understand why Czech Republic are out as they're pretty big. I used to use them a lot online in years gone by. Koller was a beast. Their never in. Wish they were though. I understand we're very low ranked and theres other teams that deserve to be in there before Wales like Ghana and such but I still feel if they're putting in all the Brit/Irish national teams then just stick Wales in. It isn't like they have to make new players just make the kit.

Only thing that excites me in that video is custom soundtracks. Watching them trying to play football was cringeworthy

Enjoying the demo. The gameplay is much smoother, though its still all very 'samey'. The player ratings are ing ridiculous, though. I can sense growth being a major issue. Messi rated 95. Ibrahimovic rated 89. You can also move players to anywhere on the pitch, and they keep the same rating. Better fix that, otherwise you could just stick Messi in goal (not that there would be any point in that) and have a 95 rated keeper.

Guessing you got Xbox then, PS3 users gotta wait till tommorrow. The player ratings willl no doubt change abit before the games released and there's always gonna be people hating them since everyone has different opinions. What's the impact engine like? Cause some videos online look stupid. Also by the looks of it we get Rooney for kick about in the arena, is that true?

I know it's only a demo, but the impact engine has thrown up some interesting moments of disbelief. I've watched a few examples already including Dzeko spazzing out and diving for no reason, but this one is the best:

I havn't really had much to do with the impact engine (and when I did, it was realistic; Clichy went up for a header, and got barged off the ball). My main problem is I just cannot win the ball. The oppositions players just hold onto it so well and dribble around my entire team, but instead of scoring, just run it off for a goal kick.

Created an American account and downloaded it this morning. Had a quick 3 games, graphics look an instant improvement, the new commentator sounds like a tool. The problem I got is getting it in the final 3rd for a chance. Drew 1-1 twice and lost on pens both times. Then won 1-0 with City. Gonna spend some time on it tommorrow.

Defending is way to hard. Its basically impossible to catch players on the harder difficulties. Attacking is pretty tough. Graphics slightly improved. Overall unimpressed

Played a few games earlier, really liking it so far. Love how if the ball rolls a little out of play, the player next to it will pick it up straight away. Can't wait for the 30th.

Been playing the demo tonight - not as easy to pick up and play as previous versions - won my first game 1-0, then lost 3-0, then drew 0-0 but won on pens.
Agree with some comments above - winning the ball is quite hard, unless i'm missing a trick? The standing tackle has to be timed to perfection because the animation is fairly long, if you miss it the attacking player is long gone before you can react again. And bringing in a CPU player only contains the attacker and won't tackle.
It's only the first night so may take a while to get to grips with. Its good but i'm not blown away.

First game I won 1-0, next game I drew 2-2, won on penalties, third game I won 4-1 and the last game I played I won 2-0. Really liking the demo, will play a few more games later I think.

I actually really like the new defensive and tackling system. even though it's harder, it's more realistic and looks better, imo.

Some good and bad things so far, them keeping the ball is annoying but makes it more challenging and fun.
one thing i like is i injured a player, the ref stopped play about 10 seconds after the tackle because he was still injured and the play restarted with a drop ball.

SoundtrackAmazing, as always. Pretty sure we finally get custom soundtracks, so it's pretty irrelevant anyway. None the less, it's fantastic. Crystal Castles, Strokes, Vaccines, Kasabian, Chase and Status (albeit one of the worst on the album), Steve Angelo, Glasvega, Pint Shot Riot, The Naked & Famous...
