I hate it.. It's my own fault I just can't get used to the new tackling system and might as well play fifa 11 if I want the old one. Probably trade it in to avoid any breaking of discs  then use it for skyrim when thats out maybe. Change the defending from tactical to legacy. Wont work online though. |

Really enjoying it, big improvement from last year. Just finished my first season with Leicester, 4th and won the Play-Offs, think I've got the hang of tactical defending now  |

Got bored with the Brighton career, so started with Juventus. Having great fun with it so far, new stadium, great detailed kits and most of them have scanned faces.
Bought Keisuke Honda for £21m, Alan Dzagoev for £24m & Guiseppe Rossi for £30m and sold tons of players. 1st game I scraped through with Serie B side Padua in the cup but managed to thrash Udinese 8-0 in my first Serie A game |:
Did manage to lose 2 games on the trot against Siena & Bologna but have hit back to beat Parma 6-0 and Catania 4-0. Don't fancy my chances against the top teams lol.

I sold Carrick for £15m before deadline day and on deadline day I combined that with 10m I had left over to buy Kroos - I've raped Bayern, bought Kroos Lahm and Sweinstieger (and Cambiasso from Inter, my midfield is completely new now).
Are there events that happen to everyone? I noticed in my first friendly the commentators randomly mentioned Drogba had left Chelsea, which was cool but strange (Chelsea had nothing to do with the game). They were also talking about Bale putting in a transfer request when I played Spurs, although they just said "this player" so could mean anyone.
Some transfers are strange but cool too - Lyon bought Modric for £35mil (I had £36m rejected :S) and Spurs used that to buy Higuain (with Real using that money to buy Bale), and Sunderland seem to be minted - they offered £25m for Hernandez and on deadline day it said they had offered 30m for Hazard or someone, although I never saw if it was accepted.

Yeah i'm not looking forward to the January Transfer window because Everton are just ahead of me in the 4th Champions league place and one of the headlines today was they've just joined the super rich god !! lol as if it wasn't hard enough

In my Newcastle career I noticed that Arsenal bought David Silva and Nani moved to Spurs. It seemed like loads of clubs wanted Ryan Taylor and Coloccini from me, but I told them to get stuffed and I bought Alberto Costa from Valencia. Donovan is settling in well as my new number 9 with 5 goals in 4 games so far.
I was having problems with exhibition games when I was trying to improve my virtual pro. It kept freezing whenever I played against the BYA Boosting created team and I figured out why. Their formation was screwed up and they only had 5 players on the pitch, which probably caused the game to freak out about the missing players.

Just gone by the January Transfer Window. Bayer Leverkusen offered £40 million for for Luka Modric, of which I accepted. With that money I signed Marek Hamsik (favourite of mine) and Guilherme, as needed a younger keeper.
Am top of the league by three points (Manchester City are second). Have a fairly easy run in, so should be fine. Been dropping a few points recently. Drew 0-0 away to Everton, 1-1 at home to Stoke and 2-2 away at Chelsea. If I can avoi ddropping anymore points, I doubt City will catch me.
I also progressed to the F.A. Cup Semi-Finals. Just. I had an away tie with Newcastle in the Quarter Final. They gave me a fair bit of trouble when I played them away in the league (beat them 3-2 with two really late goals from Adebayor), but came in expecting a win. After 84 minutes, I found myself 2-0 down. I took off Thomas Muller and bought on Adebayor. He preceeded to fire two goals past Tim Krul in the 87th and 92nd minutes to earn me a replay. I went on to win that 2-0.
I also won the League Cup. Got a ridiculously easy Semi-Final tie against Milwall, which I won 7-0 on aggregate. Got Manchester City in the final. Was a pretty boring first half, with hardly any chances. City came out for the second half and before an hour was up, they were 2-0 ahead. I managed to pull it back to 2-2 by the 80th minute, with two goals from Thomas Muller. Was looking set for extra time, until Seydou Doumbia hit a 20 yard belter past Joe Hart in the 93rd minute to win me the cup. One of the best matches I have ever had on any Fifa.

Think it's absolutely phenomenal. Every single aspect of it has been improved greatly from 11. Loving every single thing about it so far except the boring and predictable AI - it's still improved though. Had a busy weekend, but every second I got to myself was spent on FIFA.

Had it happen twice on me now. Currently on my 3rd new season.  Just use one of the default formations until EA release a patch. |

Playing my manager mode with Chelsea and i'm well addicted. Loving the new transfers, so far i've purchased... Mario Gomez £29m Sami Khedira £11m Fabricio Colocini £6m Marek Hamsik £31m Sold, Didier Drogba (Man Utd) £13m Frank Lampard (Bayern M) £14m Kalou (Malaga) £7m Anelka (Bayern M) £8m I had a nightmare start with a 3-0 loss away at Stoke (they bought Hernandez ), two 0-0 draws against West Brom and Norwich but I got the suprise 2-1 win at Old Trafford, Raul Meireles scoring both. After that i've strung together a pile of 1-1 draws and 1-0 wins, finding myself 4th in the league after 13 games. My most eventful games have been my 1-0 win against Arsenal (Hamsik tap in) and a 2-2 draw against Liverpool (after 60 mins I scored an equliser with Khedira then an 88th minute goal with Torres, in stoppage time Carrol scored a header. Still to play Spurs and City, hoping for wins. Playing QPR in the quarter finals of the Carling Cup, hopefully I will take win the trophy as Arsenal are the only other big team left. Finished the season, turned out to be an absolute nightmare. Ended up 6th one point behind the team in 3rd place  . Struggled against teams that I should have dismantled, lost 3-2 to Wolves, drew against West Brom and QPR and lost 2-1 to Wigan. I beat Liverpool 3-1 at Anfield and beat United at home 1-0, drew against Arsenal, Spurs and City. In January I had a good bit of money left and something had to change, I got Fabiano on loan (with a deal of £7m if I wanted) and signed Bastian Schweinsteiger for £27m. AC Milan came in with a £30m offer for Gomez which I accepted as I played Torres much more. The only positives of the season were the big team wins and Torres getting top scorer (17 goals.) Gutted Arsenal beat me 3-1 in the carling cup final. Funnily enough the board signed me on again, with a budget of £100m. So far i've signed Kaka for £22m, Van der Wiel for £12m and Ozil for £34m. Hamsik never really found rhythm in the squad so he went back to Napoli for £25m, I also let Ramires go to Marseille as he's useless for me, £10.5. Lost on my opener at old trafford 2-0, a few more signings will be needed before deadline day. |

I just started a new season with Real Madrid. Have done a season and a bit with Burnley which I'll probably write up at some point, but anyway my point is, I was playing the Supercopa which is decided over 2 legs. I won the first match 4-2 against Barca, and when I scored in the return leg, Martin Tyler announced the aggregate score which I thought was quite cool. The really small things like that impress me. I feared having Alan Smith on commentary, but I think it's great the amount of detail they've put in. They comment on what you say in the press conferences that you can do, commet on your recent form, if you're over or under achieving in the league, players brought in and sold, rumours such as players considering retirement etc etc. Sometimes if I'm playing with my headphones in I take them out at the start or end of the match just to see what they say |

Incredible. Finished my first season with Tottenham. I ended up doing the Treble. Beat Manchester City 3-2 in the League Cup final and Manchester United 1-0 in the F.A. Cup final. With four games to go I had the chance to win the Premier League away at QPR. I had been shipping goals in the few fixtures prior (beat Swansea and Arsenal 3-2 and Norwich 5-2), but was expecting a fairly easy win. They went 1-0 up after 20 minutes (Taarabt), though thankfully I got an equilizer 3 minutes before half-time (Doumbia). In the 49th minute Taarabt scored again to make it 2-1, then missed a penalty on the 65 minute mark. I ran straight down the other end and, thanks to some bad goalkeeping, got an equilizer (Doumbia). Got in behind there defense against and Doumbia completed his hat-trick in the 73rd minute to put me 3-2 ahead. They applied constant pressure however, and, in the 84th minute Taarabt got his hat-trick and made it 3-3. However I (again) raced up the other end and made it 4-3 in the 86th minute, with Doumbia getting his fourth. Ended up the final score. Incredible game.

Got a tad bored with my Liverpool save so started one with Spurs. Sold some of the dead wood like Pavlychenko, Kaboul and some Youngsters. Loaned out a few too. Brought in Berbatov as a back up Striker.
First XI- Friedel Walker Gallas Dawson Assou Ekotto Lennon Parker Modric Bale Van Der Vaart Adebayor
Bench- Gomes King Corluka Huddlestone Berbatov Defoe Pienaar.
Simmed the friendlies won them all 3-0/ 4-0. Beat Everton 2-1 opening game of the season goals through Bale and Adebayor. Really enjoying it so far. Hows everyone else's seasons going?

Scored a sick overhead kick with Ashley Young to take him to 10 goals this season, but then he did his groin 5 mins later and is out for 3 months hes amazing on this game so it sucks. |

Since getting the Game I've hardly played my Career Mode as I've been doing another Champions League with my mate where we seed and draw all 32 Teams, flip a coin for each match to decide who will be who, and play out every single Game. Had some unbelievable Matches so far. While the Game isn't too different, it has improved so much with the little tweaks in the Gameplay, like the AI of your team mates, ball control and tackling.
Also took park in our first FIFA Tournament for my Sunday Team in which we had 4 TVs with 4 Groups and 17 lads, £45 in the pot for the Winner... which I happily bagged!
I did start a Career Mode with Derby County for some reason, signed Nicky Maynard for £3million and some Perez CM bloke, but it feels like a waste of a Career starting there so I'm going to have a rethink over the next day or two as to who I want to do a new Career with.
I don't like to be a big Team, but want to be a European side that I can rebuild and sign realistic Players and get them good again. There's really nobody that's tempting me at the moment though other than Juventus, but despite them needing rebuilding they are still too much of a big Team to start off at IMO. The Italian League stands out to me as I never got around to managing there on my FIFA 11 Career so wouldn't mind giving that a pop.
In the end I managed 12 years on FIFA 11, 2 with St Etienne, 1 with Burnley, 1 with Birmingham, 2 with Chelsea, 3 with Barcelona, 1 with Real Madrid and 2 with Alemannia Aachen.
