By Daniel James, 10/09/2009 In an announcement that will rock both the 'Sports Entertainment' world, the most iconic man in professional wrestling, Hulk Hogan, today announced his return to the real life comic book world of professional wrestling. In a press conference streamed exclusively on MTV.com, Hogan said that he and his business associate Eric Bischoff have planned a summer tour of Australia set to take place in the tail end of 2009, and have contacted a large number of independant contractors to work the tour, including 'The Nature Boy' Ric Flair, Booker T, Jeff Hardy, and Rob Van Dam. Hogan also announced that he is returning from an extended hiatus and will lace up his own boots in an effort to draw the fans to these shows, being aired (and promoted) under the banner of 'Hulkamania: Let The Battle Begin!', and set to be aired on MTV on Saturday Night's at 9/8 CT. Hogan's first tour 'down under' kicks off on October 11th in Melbourne, before coming to a close in Sydney on December 6th. [/ul] MORE TALENTS SIGN ON TO WORK HULK HOGAN'S AUSTRALIAN WRESTLING TOUR. Best known for his runs in the WWF (now WWE) as the '123 Kid' and 'X-Pac', 6-Pac is an exciting competitor full of individual flare and attitude, as seen in his runs with legendary wrestling stables 'D-Generation X' and the 'nWo'. 6-Pac finishes opponents off with the X-Factor, a jumping facebuster, and despite his small stature is not a competitor to be underestimated. You may know Mr. Anderson better by the name 'Mr. Kennedy', which he used during his four year stint with the WWE from 2005 til May of this year. A former WWE United States Champion, Anderson is a cocky and confident young competitor who likes to use a move he calls the Mic Check, a leg hook reverse STO, to end his bouts. The largest competitor announced so far at a whopping 350 lbs, Eki Fatu, known best to wrestling fans by the ring name 'Umaga', Eki comes from the legendary Samoan wrestling family the Fatu's, who produced stars such as the Headshrinkers, Yokozuna, and The Rock. Despite his size, Fatu can move around in the ring with great speed, and uses a taped thumb to the throat dubbed the Samoan Spike to finish off usually obiterated opponents. Older fans will recognise Brutus Beefcake for sure. With flamboyant outfits, and the moniker 'The Barber', Beefcake was a popular star alongside the likes of Hulk Hogan in the 'Rock n' Wrestling' of the 1980's. Beefcake finishes matches by putting opponents into a literal sleep with a Sleeper Hold, and after the bell sounds and he's the winner, embarasses them further by cutting their hair! Simply put, Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags are just mean. Well, maybe a better word would be Nasty, since they are the Nasty Boys after all! These two may just look like old time street punks, but competitors of both yesterday and today fear the Nasty Boys rough and tumble style of grappling, this tag team preferring to pound people's faces with their fists than out-wrestle their opponents, and like to give opponents a Trip to Nastyville, a powerslam by Knobbs then an Elbow Drop by Sags. This is going to be a fun project for me to keep me active on here while I do that.

This is looking very sharp, man. My only problem is how will Umaga be wrestling if he's dead? Hehe. Anyway, I'm very excited to see what you do with this, and hopefully after the tour you don't stop. Can't wait for more!
