TNA Wrestling/Impact Wrestling held their second "UK Party" last night in Manchester at a secret location. I would say there was about 200-300 people at the event location and when 7 pm came around, we were lead to the top floor of the club to be greeted by JB.
We were joined by Jeff and Karen Jarrett via skype who, like last time, called us free loading wankers and challenged Prince William and Katie Middleton to a match on the 2012 Maximum Impact tour. After the Jarrett's left, TNA Wrestler Brutus Magnus joined the party and was very pleasant taking photos with fans and challenging them to drinking contests.
JB was doing trivia questions all night and people won lots of merch ranging from signed T-Shirts to signed trading cards. After handing out the first batch of merch, Robert Roode joined the part via skype and took questions from the fans. He noted that he is looking at challenging for the World Title soon.
After Roode left, "The Monster" Abyss joined the party via skype and was a really cool guy. He mentioned towards the end of his appearance that the TNA X Division title was now called the X-treme title.
Following Abyss, JB raised a toast to "Macho Man" Randy Savage. It was very classy and you could tell JB was speaking from the bottom of his heart.
Next up we were joined by two shocking surprises in the forms of Kip James and BG James. About 10 minutes before they arrived, people at the party were getting texts saying that Billy has been pulled from his IPWUK date at the weekend due to visa problems but apparently not. Both guys looked in great shape and were really fan friendly.
Both Billy and Road Dogg were on the TNA Spin Cycle and there was a loud "one more match" chant with Beer Money being thrown out as possible opponents.
After taping the first Spin Cycle, Billy and Road Dogg hung out and took photos for about an hour before heading for the exit.
The event was capped off with a all fan "Spin Cycle" and JB handing out tons of stuff for the fans.
Overall, it was a fantastic party with TNA, JB, Jade O Malley and Simon Rothstein making sure everyone got at least a few free things and had a good time.
Seeing The New Age Outlaws was fantastic and they looked in great shape. Magnus was a class act and made sure to talk to everyone there before challenging JB to a dance off.
