Nick will probably be still glossed over if he beats Georges.

I have nothing against GSP, but I'd love to see Diaz knock his head off. I want that HOLY **** feeling, and what better way to get it?

Can't wait for this fight. I'm happy to hear about Diaz's multi-fight deal, hopefully he can do a bit better this time around

I'm kinda excited about this fight, but then again I'm kinda not. I've gotten excited for all of GSP's fight since he fought BJ and everytime I see a new fighter I think to myself "YES, Finally this guy is going to push GSP to the limit" but then it never happens. I got excited when Koscheck fought GSP because I thought he was going to push the action and he backed down. Same for Hardy, same for Fitch, same for Alves, same for Shields.
Just based off of Diaz's attitude alone, I'm willing to bet that he isn't the type of fighter to just back down and let his opponent easily pick him apart, but I've been proven wrong before when it comes to GSP fights. I don't know if Diaz is going to be scared just like everyone of GSP's opponents have been in his recent fights or if he will be the first dude in a long time to try and actually FIGHT GSP.

If Diaz wasn't afraid to bring the fight standing with knockout artists Cyborg and Daley, he won't have a problem with GSP.

I'm sorry, but on the feet is the only place where Diaz stands a chance in hell of beating GSP. I understand that he has one of the sickest guards in the sport, but St-Pierre's top positioning is second to none. I have a very hard time believing that he's going to leave himself open. I fully expect a wrestle decision from GSP.

When has Diaz ever been REALLY wrestle ed? Sean Sherk, Diego Sanchez, and Karo Parisyan all tried to lay on him, and Diaz was able to get up pretty much everytime, or get a submission. This will be a 5-round fight. I think it'll be different.

As St-Pierre showed in the first fight with BJ Penn, apparently pushing your opponent up against the cage for 3 minutes of the round and *attempting* takedowns is good enough. Also, he got out-boxed by Sherk and his baby T-Rex arms. Granted, that was YEARS ago, but still. Let's be honest for a minute - Nick Diaz has zero wins over top-10 opponents in his career. Meanwhile, Georges St-Pierre has basically cleaned out the top-10 in the division while holding numerous wins over a couple of the guys.

Nick Diaz I believe it was who once mentioned he had to learn to fight the way others such as GSP does to win. He was saying about fighting to finish and to win, and not to get the decision. So I dunno if he'll bring that mentality to this fight considering that's what GSP brings to every fight.
At least that's what I got from the interview, considering Nick Diaz speaks NickDiaznense.

My basis of watching MMA is purely with BJJ in mind. I would have said Nate won the fight with Kim due to the amount of subs he attempted from his back. I don't think wrestlers should get so much in the eyes of judges for take downs if the guys get back up with relative ease. It's a flaw in MMA judging and one that's up for a good discussion.

If Diaz wants to win he needs to get alot better in BJJ (like Shields). That is the only way he is going to beat GSP. If he concentrates only on striking GSP will take him down and dominate him on the ground, but if he concentrates on BJJ with Cesar and Shields GSP will be more hesitant to take him down (see GSP vs. Shields) this will give Diaz the chance to out box Georges. It will also work if by chance GSP wants to take him down to work a submission in.
IF (big IF) Diaz sticks to this gameplan he may have a chance to beat GSP. I honestly see GSP winning by imposing his will on Diaz and using his size and strength advantage taking him down and working some good ground and pound and tko'ing Diaz in the 3rd.

You seriously don't consider Daley a top-10 fighter? Heh. He was probably borderline top-10 at best. I'd have put him at like 12th.

Daley has been ranked 8-9 since 2009. Don't get crazy.

Daley has been ranked 8-9 since 2009. Don't get crazy. Only by crazy folk. Let me know when he beats someone in the top-10. I would say Martin Kampmann was probably close.

If you beat someone in the top-10, you're a top-10 guy. Daley beat Kampmann, who was in (pretty much) everyone's top-10 at the time of the Daley fight.
