He took this fight on short notice and usually fights at 185.

I know he had fought Stann at 185, but I figured that he was permanently moving up to 205 when I saw this fight get announced.

He was suppose to have some fight in July in some obscure promotion, but 2 of Soszynski's opponents got injured and it was apparently tough to find a replacement, so they called Massenzio and he accepted.

Yeah, I knew about the rescheduling. I guess I just thought, once I saw his name, that he had already been ready to fight at 205. It sounds like he wasn't, though. It seems weird, considering most guys would be around 200-205 before they start their cut to 185. He kind of seems small either way.

I feel Carwin is going to shock some people and KO JDS....
I am a huge fan of JDS but he has never faced someone with power like Carwin.

Holy shit, Michihiro Omigawa just got ing robbed. That's gotta be up there as one of the worst robberies of the year. One judge scored it 30-27 for Elkin, seriously? Holy ing .

I was wondering how bad the judging was for the Omigawa fight. The youtube stream kicked in late for me, and the f*cking morons posting on there weren't helping anything. But it did seem like the something was up with the decision. This is some crazy s*it with these judges lately.

HA I'm still shocked by that decision , having him lose 29-28 is wrong but 30-27? LMAO.

I scored it 30-27 for Omigawa, with Round 1 being very close, so you can argue it was 29-28 for Omigawa, but 30-27 for Elkins? Seriously? Did the judges NOT see Elkins' face in comparison to Omigawa's? Such a joke.

I managed to catch the entire 3rd roung, and I definitely gave that to Omigawa. 30-27 was definitely baffling in that regard. Pretty good follow up fights though. Beltran/Rosa was a fun brawl, and this Porier/Young fight is shaping up nicely.

I bet Dana is pissed. May be a blessing in disguise though. I bet more fighters actually try to finish tonight after that.

Poirer fizzled out a bit there in the end. Not sure how well the 3rd round went though since the Youtube stream went kaput for the first 4mins.

Before I hear the judges, I scored it 29-28 for Young. Way more active off his back and did a great job of not getting taken down in the 3rd round.
