Did any of you actually expect R-Truth to go over Cena? LOL i didnt, but it wouldve been nice to make him look like a legit threat instead of burying all his momentum in one felt swoop. Not all of his momentum is gone, he can still play the conspiracy card with the kid throwing the drink on him. I still can't buy R-Truth main eventing so quickly. He just turned heel no less than two months ago. Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed his heel turn thoroughly, but in no less than two months he goes from barely even being on cards to being in the main event. Plus his in wrong work is pretty average at best.

I really should just stop watching Orton and Cena matches. thats exactly what i was thinking. though Orton's match had some cool spots in it, him constantly going over Christian is growing tiresome.

I gotta say, Zeke winning the title was pretty rad. And orton retaining was cool. I just hope orton doesnt face christian again at MITB. Im sick of seeing orton/christian. My dream is orton/khali, but realistically Id enjoy orton/sheamus.

I liked Miz's match.
Glad Punk and Del Rio won. Happy Dolph is US Champ.
But when the only good thing you can really say about a show is you are glad about the winners and not that there were good matches then there's a problem.

Wasn't Punk supposed to tell us the truth about something? What happened with that?
I thought he was gonna retire.

As much as I hated the finishes to both title matches, they made sense. Christian is still getting screwed and bad breaks like he's been complaining about and Truth can still keep playing up his conspiracy and little Jimmy stuff. I don't think any momentum has been killed.

Sucks to hear R-Truth didn't get the nod tonight but oh well. There is always next month.

I don't understand what so many of you are complaining about. I thought it was a solid show.

Rey/Punk started off boring but it got good near the end. Christian/Orton was a good match but the finish was awful. Hopefully this doesn't derail Christian's main event push. Miz/Riley was a pretty average match, hated the finish. They've made Miz look incredibly weak throughout this entire storyline. I'm all for putting Riley over, but at least let Miz win tonight, and put Riley over in the finale/rematch. Zeke winning the IC title was brutal, he isn't over one bit! I liked Ziggler/Kofi and I'm glad Ziggler won. Other than that this PPV was brutal. On par or even worse than OTL.
Left out Del Rio/Show by mistake. Loved Henry coming out and dominating show. That slam was awesome. Overall, match made both look good. No problem there. Probably went on too long considering what Henry did to show, and Show was still injured before hand. Oh well.

Awful show. I can't elaborate without it sounding like familiar rambling, jesus it was awful. The commentary....oh.

I really should just stop watching Orton and Cena matches. When I watch Smackdown and Raw, I usually fast forward through their matches. It makes the shows more enjoyable. Skipping past anything with Michael Cole is a good idea, as well.

He called Ziggler "Zigzag"...TWICE. Booker's pretty awful too. Cole's gotten tolerable since dropping the Cole Mine gimmick. Just put Mathews and JR out there.

I think tonight was a pretty solid example of what is wrong with the WWE.
Capitol Punishment wasn't bad. There was no overwhelming unbearable portions of the show (save the Obama segment) that made me wish I spent my night on something else.
The problem is that it just wasn't very good.
This entire show, from start to finish, could have easily been, and should have been, given away on free TV. Nothing tonight made me feel as though I was watching a Pay-Per-View. The only matches of quality meant nothing and the matches that should have been a big deal were dull, flat and lifeless.
We're in an era where there is little differentiation between TV and Pay-Per-View. WWE failed to go out of their way to do anything tonight to make me feel as though I could justify spending any money to watch the product they're selling. It's passable when it's free, but it becomes watered down, cheap and lazy when money becomes involved.
Ziggler/Kofi had a solid match. Glad to see Dolph win the belt. They've given me better showings on free TV, though.
The Miz/Riley had some solid psychology to it, but aside from that, there wasn't a whole lot going on. I felt like for a rivalry that was given so much TV time, throwing it so early in the show really killed its momentum. Again, fine and dandy, but not worth any money.
Del Rio/Show was what it was. Quick and painless for the most part, the table spot probably garnered the biggest reaction of the night (and rightfully so, what the hell else of value happened?). Cheap finish that works on TV, not on Pay-Per-View.
Intercontinental Championship did nothing for me. These two have little chemistry together and no one seems t care, be it the crowd or the commentators. If they can't get excited, how can I?
CM Punk/Rey Mysterio, was, indeed, a fantastic match, the one portion of the night where I didn't feel as though I just wanted the show to be over.
Christian/Orton was incredibly disappointing. I've come to expect so much from these two between their battles on Smackdown, and the incredible match at Over the Limit, and tonight I got just a shell of that. A watered down, quicker version with a much slower pace. Seemed to be slowly building to a climax that never came and instead just ended on a whim. Christian's foot was clearly under the rope and the commentators having to argue about it was trivial and laughable. There was no question, it made Lawler and Booker sound stupid.
Swagger/Bourne was yet another very solid match, looking forward to seeing more out of them.
Cena/Truth was pretty damn awful. It worked because of Truth's gimmick, but it was a lazy main event and the crowd hated it, as was evident through their lack of enthusiasm prior to the bout. Booker T continued to prove why he's not ready to be a full time commentator, making so many idiotic comments that I literally started to feel embarrassed. It made everything feel hokey and forced. He's not getting better, he's getting worse.
A perfect example:
"The crowd tonight is really all for John Cena"
When the crowd is clearly split 50/50, chanting "Let's Go Cena!" "Cena Sucks!". I know you're not going to acknowledge that people don't like Cena on TV, but that doesn't mean you have to boldly lie about it.
I just couldn't wait for it to be over. Forgettable, drawn out, and just downright boring. Two matches that were above average, and neither meant a damn thing. I've seen better from Raw and Smackdown several times in the last two months.
