In my 14 years of being a WWE fan I've never been one to bash commentators. There have been countless posts over the years dedicated to how much people have hated hearing Cole, Lawler, Adamle, and even JR. But I was never one to complain. Then Booker T became a commentator. He literally pisses me off with the comments and mistakes that he makes. Lawler can be aggravating but I can usually tolerate him. Even on the occasions where I watch Smackdown, I can kind of tolerate Booker. But hearing them both working together tonight, for the entire show? Nearly unbearable. For sakes, I've never been more frustrated with the commentators. I can't believe Striker got bumped off of shows for Booker. I can't see them replacing Booker on Smackdown anytime soon, but please put Josh back on PPVs. Hell, if they really want a superstar to be the third person I'll even take Regal over Booker.

Cole and king are BAD. Booker adds intentcity to the matches. And hes not uninterested like king and cole seem to be. I used to like king, he used to be amazing, but now its just like hes there and doesnt care or show any emotions at all. And cole does not do his job. Did anyone notice how much dead time there was tonight? Cole is supposed to be calling the match and hes not saying anything. The worst tonight was king calling a move and cole repeating the move. It wasnt "neckbreaker" "wow what a devastating neckbreaker!"
No, we got two straight emotionless "neckbreaker" "neckbreaker"
It was baddddd tonight.

^ I really like Booker as a commentator. And king for that matter. I guess I prefer them because they're unique.
Anyways, I think the results for the PPV were good. I'm really not looking forward to what is sure to be John Cena winning another title match when I go to MITB, but its better than Truth getting the belt. Its nice seeing the belt not changing hands so much in 2011 though.
Orton holding onto the title too is a good move I think, I wouldn't mind seeing a long title run with him. I think after a few months he might even start to draw heavy for SD.
I liked Kofi as US champ, but I think Dolph will be equally as entertaining.
Don't care for Barrett or Zeke as the IC champ really
the other matches sounded alright also, kinda tired of the Punk vs Rey feud
I heard rumors of large scale rioting near the DC area because of Ryder not being on the card.

Barrett was one of the worst IC Champs ever, lets hope Zeke doesn't do what Barrett did!

Booker adds loud talking and little substance to the broadcast, which I guess can be construed as "energy". His entire night of Commentary, summed up:
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Man, man, I mean, man, I HAVE SEEN DAT SCISSAS KICK BEFORE, I invented that! R-Troof, man, with that move there, one I invented. R-Truth, with dat move there, I created that one, right there, you know. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, did you HEAR, TH-AT, right dere? OH MY GOOTNESS! He kicked out of desperation, King! OH! Punk's got a shtinger, Keeng, he looks like he's got a bad shtinger there. Alex Riley green around the edges, and maybe he should just give up here, I agree wit chew about dat, Co.

Read there were some pretty loud and clear "We Want Ryder" chants tonight. Ryder Revolution Yea by about 6 1/2 people that failed to get a large amount of people chanting with them. Fail. Are you serious bro? All you do is bash Ryder...hater

Barrett was one of the worst IC Champs ever, lets hope Zeke doesn't do what Barrett did! I kinda have to agree. So sad too since I was really starting to become a fan after he won the title off of Kofi. The finish to that match was beautiful. Sadly he only defended against Kofi [did he even beat him clean] and then did the whole DQ/Count out 'defenses' against Zeke who in the end beat him.. So stupid. Zeke is not going to interest me much as IC champ either. I hope Cody or someone else cool on SD can win the IC title off of him in a couple months.

I can't believe it took over a year for Punk to win a match at a PPV.

I think tonight was a pretty solid example of what is wrong with the WWE. Capitol Punishment wasn't bad. There was no overwhelming unbearable portions of the show (save the Obama segment) that made me wish I spent my night on something else. The problem is that it just wasn't very good. This entire show, from start to finish, could have easily been, and should have been, given away on free TV. Nothing tonight made me feel as though I was watching a Pay-Per-View. The only matches of quality meant nothing and the matches that should have been a big deal were dull, flat and lifeless. We're in an era where there is little differentiation between TV and Pay-Per-View. WWE failed to go out of their way to do anything tonight to make me feel as though I could justify spending any money to watch the product they're selling. It's passable when it's free, but it becomes watered down, cheap and lazy when money becomes involved. Ziggler/Kofi had a solid match. Glad to see Dolph win the belt. They've given me better showings on free TV, though. The Miz/Riley had some solid psychology to it, but aside from that, there wasn't a whole lot going on. I felt like for a rivalry that was given so much TV time, throwing it so early in the show really killed its momentum. Again, fine and dandy, but not worth any money. Del Rio/Show was what it was. Quick and painless for the most part, the table spot probably garnered the biggest reaction of the night (and rightfully so, what the hell else of value happened?). Cheap finish that works on TV, not on Pay-Per-View. Intercontinental Championship did nothing for me. These two have little chemistry together and no one seems t care, be it the crowd or the commentators. If they can't get excited, how can I? CM Punk/Rey Mysterio, was, indeed, a fantastic match, the one portion of the night where I didn't feel as though I just wanted the show to be over. Christian/Orton was incredibly disappointing. I've come to expect so much from these two between their battles on Smackdown, and the incredible match at Over the Limit, and tonight I got just a shell of that. A watered down, quicker version with a much slower pace. Seemed to be slowly building to a climax that never came and instead just ended on a whim. Christian's foot was clearly under the rope and the commentators having to argue about it was trivial and laughable. There was no question, it made Lawler and Booker sound stupid.
Swagger/Bourne was yet another very solid match, looking forward to seeing more out of them. Cena/Truth was pretty damn awful. It worked because of Truth's gimmick, but it was a lazy main event and the crowd hated it, as was evident through their lack of enthusiasm prior to the bout. Booker T continued to prove why he's not ready to be a full time commentator, making so many idiotic comments that I literally started to feel embarrassed. It made everything feel hokey and forced. He's not getting better, he's getting worse. A perfect example: "The crowd tonight is really all for John Cena" When the crowd is clearly split 50/50, chanting "Let's Go Cena!" "Cena Sucks!". I know you're not going to acknowledge that people don't like Cena on TV, but that doesn't mean you have to boldly lie about it. I just couldn't wait for it to be over. Forgettable, drawn out, and just downright boring. Two matches that were above average, and neither meant a damn thing. I've seen better from Raw and Smackdown several times in the last two months. Orton got a concussion, bro. Sorry he can't do a five star match.

I actually enjoyed tonight. Wasn't the best pay-per-view in the world, but it was still enjoyable. Two titles changed hands, even though I would have liked one of the World titles to change hands, in a way I'm glad Big Zeke and Ziggler won. With Big Zeke as IC champ, Barrett can now go back to the main event scene. Ziggler needed that US title win to build himself up again as a contender to the WWE title, so its win/win for Ziggler.

Cena kicks out of 2 finishing moves and R Truth only gets his ass to the roops? REALLY? CENA FU´s him and R-Truth is down? REALLY? Once again, you should fire those scripters.

R-Truth was momentarily dazed from the water attack by the kid. Sure, not the best way to lose, but it will add to his storyline about being screwed and conspiracies. Plus, Cena didn't do his magical get up and quickly get the win thing everyone here complains about. Truth took his time with "Little Jimmy", giving Cena time to heal. Seriously, the ending to that match isn't as bad as people make it out to be, it will add to Truth's storyline.

Im not one to really complain about Cena, but my god they really need to let him get more offense in matches. Last night really showed me how bad this whole trend is becoming. Cena basically never has control in a match, other than his last sequence.
Has anybody ever seen John do a body slam? Not getting on him or anything, but just showing that he is honestly NEVER in control.

Decent showing last night.
Could have done without the ridiculius "Barak" segment at the end...it really killed the crowd. Other than that, the crowd sucked anyway.
Ziggler & Kofi had a decent match, but a weird ending. Glad that Zig took the US title though.
Miz/Riley was great, nice to see Riley get the win. Hopefully this feud will continue for awhile.
Del Rio & Big Show was a good storyline match. Surprised to see Mark Henry and I was really impressed with him literally walking while holding Big Show. I wonder if Show & ADR will end up moving to Smackdown or if that Henry thing was just a quick revenge thing to prevent him from looking weak.
Finally Zeke wins a title. Awesome. I didn't understand the crowd in this match...like they didn't care about what was going on. It's stupid. I was pumped and Wade's promo beforehand was great. Hopefully they just let Wade loose on the mic because he is one of the best they've got right now in that aspect
Punk & Rey was the MOTN. Just a great solid worked match between two of the best talents the WWE has. Rey has been bringing it strong over the last 6+ months....showing why he is and always will be the top masked superstar in WWE history.
Christian/Orton was fine. Nothing special, the ending obviously is going to add fuel to the fire hopefully with Christian getting the belt from Orton somehow. This match should have closed the show
Bourne/Swagger was a nice surprise. Better than most "filler" matches they could come up with. Bourne getting wins is refreshing, this is a nice little sub-feud to keep both those guys on TV and in everyone's minds.
The entire Barak segment was a gigantic waste of time, they should have done after the first match. It really killed the crowd, even Booker's spinarooni couldn't save.
Main event was VERY lackluster. Match was slow paced and kind of boring. I expected more out of both those guys. They are better than that. Ending made sense from a storyline point of view, but it was still just kind of meh. I like Truth as a heel as much as the next person, but his matches have suffered with all the stalling and "heel tactics"
Overall the show wasn't terrible, storylines were furthered and the build up to Summerslam has begun. RAW should be fun tonight.

I don't think WWE is ever going to learn their celebrity/political impersonators just aren't funny. They could have gotten in a quick match, or at least spent more time on another one, with the time wasted on "Barack."

That's another thing, the crowd was absolutely awful last night, and rightfully so. They got a watered down, uneventful show.
Truthfully, a slightly below average show was made mountains worse by the energy of the crowd and the absolutely cringe-inducing commentary.

Terrible, terrible crowd. They reacted to pretty much nothing. They only opened they're mouths to chant for Ryder. I love Ryder and all, but come on. The Obama thing had no part on any PPV, no matter what the theme. The rest of the show was pretty forgettable, for me. I'm happy Ziggler won, but that's pretty much it. I'm also happy to see Riley get the win, I like Miz but this is huge for Riley's career. Didn't like the ending at all. Cena gets beat down for 11 or so minutes, and all it takes is an AA and some water in the face to beat Truth? I understood it, just didn't like it.

What a pointless PPV I just got done watching it and like the last few PPV's its just feels like a extented episode of RAW but without adverts. I think it was a mistake having Miz lose this early into the feud even if Riley had dominated the match and then have Miz cheat to win and really make us fans wait to finaly see Riley beat the Miz.
You know I am so glad I never paid for this as I really would have felt cheated.
