Marvel used BAF for the Marvel Figures line the last couple years they had the rights. Each figure comes with a part like an arms, a leg, or the torso that you can put together to make another figure. The limbs have pegs on them where you can put them into the torso and lower body.

so like for example 4 or 5 figures in a series will include 1 part and if you get all figures you can then build the bonus figure or something?
i was confused by this as well but if this is the case. That's a great Idea.

The only bad thing about it is you have to buy the whole set which will probably include a repaint or someone that you didn't want to buy.

The only bad thing about it is you have to buy the whole set which will probably include a repaint or someone that you didn't want to buy. That's the common crux. I don't know if the variants will have the parts, though...wouldn't that make them an "official" part of the line? Didn't the ML variants have the same piece, too?

With one exception in the Marvel Legends line, a variant figure came with the same piece as the regular release. The exception to this rule with the Giant Man (WalMart exclusive) wave was the variant AoA Wolverine. The ironic thing is to get Giant Man's left hand, you had to buy a Wolverine variant that was missing his left hand.

I dont like the idea. The BAF wont be as playable as the others.

I dont like the idea. The BAF wont be as playable as the others. Agreed. It's also kind of...strange, for a wrestling line. It was great for building a Sentinel, or some robot like that...but it's gonna look crazy having just some pair of human legs sitting in the package.

I dont like the idea. The BAF wont be as playable as the others. Thats pure BS. Most BAFs put out in teh Marvel legends line had the same level of articulation as the other figures. The assembly points tend to be where joints meet (arm attaches to peg on the shoulder ball, leg attaches to peg on hip ball, torso ab crunch joint, etc.)

The BAF is Ms. Brooks.
But in Traci attire.

If anyone remembers, when TOybiz did the WCW line they had a BAF. Now all the parts came with, the figure escapes me, but the BAF was Little Natch the ref and the figure sucked. The arms and legs never stayed in place properly and constantly just fell out.

I hope not though.
