While that may not exactly be the case, I definitely do see where you're coming from. Everything the Sandman was iconic for has been done in the WWE over the past several months, while they've been PG. Beer--check (Stone Cold, last Monday); cigarettes--check (R-Truth, as you mentioned); Singapore cane--check (Miz/Cena at Over the Limit).

and i dont see why they couldnt put billy gunn in his green shorts with lip logos without "mr ass" and they could leave it out on the package name as well....

I like how they gave an honest answer. I always remember Jakks saying "well, we could look into that" or "great idea!" there by giving us false hope. That said, I felt like a lot of the questions that were answered the people asking them should have already known the answer.

Ok Mattel makes absolutely no sense at all. Time and time again they say they will cover the entire current roster. Than in this Q&A they say there is no plans for guys like Hawkins & Barreta. Your pretty much saying if they aren't on TV all the time they aren't getting made. So how can we ever get the entire roster if your not willing to make them?

Also they pretty much are saying there is going to be no female legends which saddens me. Past talent like Elizabeth, Sunny, Sherri, Lita & Trish deserve to be made just as much as any of the guys do. They say the current diva's are a hard sell? Than please explain why they are usually the highest priced online and STILL repeatedly sell out? Plus they are always the first to go in a series once they hit retail.

This Q&A has really left a bad taste in my mouth. I have to say I'm very disappointed right now with Mattel.

i don't understand how they can say they won't make hawkins or baretta because of lack of tv time.then they say they have no plans now for ricardo,but he is on tv every week.i wonder if this will apply to their logic of making vickie or teddy long?and if we aren't getting any elite diva's then how are we supposed to get the diva belt?

First off, thanks to Mattel's crew for answering the questions. It's much appreciated.

That said, a few comments:

1. I guess I understand the logic of getting more figures of guys with the TV time, but then there's no plans for Ricardo Rodriguez who's been on TV every time as Alberto. Vicki Guerrero really should have a figure as well considering how pivotal a role she's had since becoming an on-air character. Matt Striker's become a manager now and he "should" be on TV a lot too so shouldn't he get a figure as well?

2. I was surprised there wasn't anything more with Elizabeth not being considered for a figure than low demand. With Jakks, there wasn't much of a demand because without Savage she's not that essential, but with three Macho Man figures, two of which specifically cater to the time she was his manager, I'd think there'd be more demand for her now.

3. Questions about current main stars like a short cut Punk, bearded Orton and Cena attires being asked/answered are odd since there's no reason Mattel won't hit each and every significant look for the current stars.

4. I'm still hoping Mattel will answer/explore the viability of RSC or Matty.com exclusives for legends that couldn't sell at retail like managers such as Bobby Heenan, Jimmy Hart and Elizabeth. Guess I'll have to ask again for next segment ;-)

do you believe that triple h's figures are too ripped and will this problem be fixed in the near future?

Mattel: This is the first I have heard anyone having an issue with it. Ironically this was the first torso we designed and it was first put on…Triple H. We love it.

I Still Dont Get How Jakks Could Sell The Original Sheik, Shockmaster , Bastion Booger, Abe Knuckleball Schwarts, Etc etc etc... but Mattel Cant Sell Legends....

And These names from Jakks came out in the last 2 years....
