That DM Jericho was my question. I asked if there was a chance he could get made when he won both titles but I guess since he's not on TV anymore, they won't take a chance on it? I rather have them use that answer then to say he had an Entrance Great figure. The Entrance Greats line was a bust because they were basic form, not elite.
I Ehink lizabeth should get a figure created. It will go great with all Macho Mans and hate to say it but with Macho Man passing, all his figures are selling out. Even the DM that was clogging up stores sold so it makes perfect sense to have Elizabeth as a legends.

Hope my question is answered next time COME ON PLZ ANSWER MINE!! So what i'm not liking is that they make figures of the people who get more air time get like a elite figure or basic, It should be the figures that we demand No it shouldn't. This toy line does not survive on the preferences of a few jaded hardcore fans who hate the main eventers and love the crappy jobbers. The sooner people realise that, the better. I actually found that Q&A hilarious. They basically said, if it sells we'll sell it, if it don't we wont. Which is something fans don't like, but it's a realistic view. I'm a big fan of Hawkins & Barreta and I can see why they wouldn't release figs of them until they're worth the scan, development and shipping time. Exactly. It's one thing to like those guys, it's another to think they're worth the figure development at this point. It's pretty amazing that so many people on here don't understand that TV time = recognition = figures selling. I like how they gave an honest answer. I always remember Jakks saying "well, we could look into that" or "great idea!" there by giving us false hope. Same here. I always appreciate the honest answers. There's no point in trying to just keep the jobber fans smiling and hopeful and then end up disappointing them anyway. I hope they continue this trend of reasonably blunt, truthful answers. Ok Mattel makes absolutely no sense at all. Time and time again they say they will cover the entire current roster. Than in this Q&A they say there is no plans for guys like Hawkins & Barreta. Your pretty much saying if they aren't on TV all the time they aren't getting made. So how can we ever get the entire roster if your not willing to make them? In fairness, nobody's going to miss them. If a kid or normal fan walks into a toy shop and sees a Trent Baretta figure on the shelf, they're not even going to know who it is. 3. Questions about current main stars like a short cut Punk, bearded Orton and Cena attires being asked/answered are odd since there's no reason Mattel won't hit each and every significant look for the current stars. That one bugs me, too. I don't get why people ask that sort of stuff, do they really think Mattel is going to stop making figures of Randy Orton?

Well that didn't tell me anything except that diva legends are a no go and they don't have much faith in their female figures at all. Nice. If I wanted to read a bunch of fluff and wishlists I would read the forum.

Not to be negative, but that was a pretty alarming Q&A. I didn't really see one encouraging piece of news in the entire thing. The overall tone seems to be that they're putting all of their time into repaints of top sellers like Cena/Mysterio/lame rumblers and dropping more collector based pieces. Everything from divas to legends to seemingly 2nd tier top sellers (like Jericho for example) are no longer priorities? That's BAD news for us.
And why do the interviewers keep publishing Owen Hart/Benoit/TNA talent/obvious future figure questions? We know there will be a short-haired Punk, elite Barrett, a purple/red shirted Cena and a bearded Orton in the coming months. Why waste space asking questions that anyone with a brain knows the answer to. Here's a question: how is the selection process of legends being improved for the future or what is your company doing to improve distribution issues. Those are legitimate questions as Mattel has clearly dropped the ball on those issues. Stop lobbing softballs at these guys and ask tough questions that we all want to know the answers to! Stop being a human microphone stand for crying out loud.

I Still Dont Get How Jakks Could Sell The Original Sheik, Shockmaster , Bastion Booger, Abe Knuckleball Schwarts, Etc etc etc... but Mattel Cant Sell Legends.... And These names from Jakks came out in the last 2 years.... I know that everyone will say ohh calm down they are just figures...but collecting the legends was my only hobby..them saying the Rockers will make it into their line somewhere is basically saying the legends are done. I love all the "lesser known" legends but Mattel isnt even gonna sell huge names like yokozuna and lex luger? What the hell is going on? I had such high expectations for this line and its the only reason I started collecting again...it just sucks that legends was the top line for Jakks and now its just an afterthought for mattel. I'm just pretty ticked

Mattel keeps saying they wont to do the whole roster no Ricardo for Del Rio is a complete joke. Hawkins and Barretta deserve figures even if they are packed 1 per case they will sell, all the figures that linger from the sets are the Cenas, HHH, Undertakers . Finish the roster take chances like Jakks did on the lesser known stars. some vague answers this time

Here's a question: how is the selection process of legends being improved for the future or what is your company doing to improve distribution issues. Best 2 Questions yet. Hopefully these are answered at latest by sdcc. Ya no doubt , I'll support Legends however they come out as im already hooked but im very disapointed to see the line fail and to see guys like yokozuna and lex not already have been considered for whatever reasons. Cuz im sure out of those 5 , The One they are already working on is Diesel .

Without a question Mattel dropped the ball with the Legends line if this line is actually finished.. So many names.. So many options.. Big names and big options without a doubt..
Without Mattel Legends line.. I'm practically done. I'll get Elite Gabriel and Daniel Bryan eventually.. Other than that..

Kind of disappointing. Mattel never seems to give any real news. Usually they just answer no or tell us to stay tuned. While I'm not a big Jakks fan and I thought their last two years or so were awful they seemed to give us more news.
I don't know if Mattel or Ringside picks the questions but the questions answered usually are kind of dumb. Then again we don't really get any real answers anyway so I guess it doesn't matter too much.
I feel like this Q&A kind of proves that the line ups we heard the other day were true because they said stay tuned for Kane's debut attire and mentioned a short hair Punk in Elite as well as Cena.

If it is based on TV time then why has there been numerous HHH & Undertaker figures released lately? Ricardo, Baretta, Hawkins, and all the Nexus members have had more TV time over the last year than both of them.

I'm sure Mattel have said that they want to create the most authentic WWE experience (when asked about referee and announcer figures) yet when asked about Ricardo Rodriguez they say he's not in the plans right now.
I thought he'd be ideal to place in a two pack with Del Rio's second basic figure. When wrestlers have their first 1 or 2 figures there is a demand for them, so if Mattel were worried about it not selling on its own, they could have thrown this logical two-pack together.

First off, thanks to Mattel's crew for answering the questions. It's much appreciated. 2. I was surprised there wasn't anything more with Elizabeth not being considered for a figure than low demand. With Jakks, there wasn't much of a demand because without Savage she's not that essential, but with three Macho Man figures, two of which specifically cater to the time she was his manager, I'd think there'd be more demand for her now. Trust, there was PLENTY of demand for Miss Elizabeth. Savage or not. Honestly, it seems like Mattel is recycling the same names with some new faces here and there. Nothing really groundbreaking. I feel sorry for the Mattel die hards, especially the legends collectors. That line seems to be everything but officially done. Kind of chap of Mattel to take a shot at the UFC line. I don't like the UFC line at all myself, but i hate the fact every single Mattel figure has the perfect cannonball deltoids (bodybuilding term). But it is what it is.

whole thing sounded kinda tongue in cheek. really lame for them to knock the UFC line. I don't like UFC enough to buy them but they're pretty good toys. significantly better than Jakks TNA IMO. also, I'm not mad about Ricardo Rodriguez not being on the schedule when I asked a question about non-wrestler on screen talent (including his name) and the answer was there are plans for them. I also thought Sin Cara would have made it out by the end of the year for sure still, good to hear that Foley's now on their radar. Mick's like my no.1 Legend want. love that they'll be doing lots of Rocks in the future too. Rock's one of my all time favourites but I STILL haven't been able to get one. also Rockers, yey. thanks to mattel

I want Hawkins and Barretta! and guys like that. Baretta gets more air time than Ryder, and Hawkins is Hawkins! At least they could be short packed!
