Damn, I should've asked about the Elite Booker T when I had the chance.... Anyways, good questions in this one, looking forward to the Elite Barrett.

Why would Mattel think those guys are going to be released? ....Is it because they don't get much TV time? You may very well be right. Who knows? My problem is don't say you're going to make the ENTIRE roster if you don't plan on making guys or divas that get little tv time. Just be honest about it. You probably wouldn't see as much griping (I know there would still be some), if Mattel hadn't said that numerous times in the past. I don't think Mattel ever flat out said they would make the entire roster. I'm pretty sure they always said something like they would like to do the whole roster at some point. But let's be realistic even if they ever said they would make the entire roster if they and the WWE feel the sales wouldn't be there on certain guys then they aren't going to release them. Again I don't ever think Mattel came out and promised/confirmed they would make the complete roster...I think it was always more of a maybe type answer.

And why do the interviewers keep publishing Owen Hart/Benoit/TNA talent/obvious future figure questions? We know there will be a short-haired Punk, elite Barrett, a purple/red shirted Cena and a bearded Orton in the coming months. Why waste space asking questions that anyone with a brain knows the answer to. Here's a question: how is the selection process of legends being improved for the future or what is your company doing to improve distribution issues. Those are legitimate questions as Mattel has clearly dropped the ball on those issues. Stop lobbing softballs at these guys and ask tough questions that we all want to know the answers to! Stop being a human microphone stand for crying out loud. I am bothered by this as well. Mattel gets the exact thread sent to them and answers the questions from the thread. I considered giving the go-ahead to mods to delete questions that are redundant/common sense/pointless but I don't want to hear any whining and complaining that someone got their question deleted so I decided against it. For now it will just stay at Mattel answering the questions they want to answer.

Stop being a human microphone stand for crying out loud. Sure there's distribution issues but how is distribution issues a Mattel problem? That's a waste of a question also. Mattel's answer will be "Talk to your retailer." Mattel DOES NOT ship directly to each retail store in the country. They receive bulk orders from each major retailer such as TRU/Target/WalMart/etc and ship it out. For the US once it's hits the ports (usually in CA) They are then shipped to each stores main distribution centers. Once there the orders are broken down and shipped to the various regions distribution centers/warehouse across the country (Usually by train that's why the West coast usually gets stuff at least 2 weeks before the east coast) Once it gets there it is divided among the stores. So poor distribution issues is the retailers problems as they are in charge of dividing their orders among their stores.

Maybe I misunderstood him, but that's not how I took it at all. The dude from Mattel said in both the Toy Fair and SDCC interviews that they planned on making the entire roster. When I hear someone say that, I take it as EVERYONE will be made, not just the guys that are on Raw and Smackdown every week. To be perfectly honest, I'm not a huge fan of Hawkins or Baretta. I just like having figures of all the wrestlers. I just don't get the theory that these guys wouldn't sell. Sure, if you make several versions of them or put 3 of them in a case, they will be on the shelves forever. However, if you only make them once and short pack them, they would sell easily and would probably be hard to find.

I'll start a new questions thread now. Use this thread as reference for questions that have already been asked.
