Here at Ring of Poison, we see each Freedomania, or Figamania as a chance to showcase some of the best wrestling in the world, outwith the confines of our usual shows. We use these as opportunities to bring the fans "dream matches" that you would perhaps not see in any other arena.
At last year's Wrestlingfigs.com Figamania, Ring of Poison presented one of our finest matches to date - Chris Hero vs. CM Punk, reigniting a decade old feud and showing two of ROP's finest competitors in a match never seen before to our fans.
And now, it is time for Freedomania, and in a show that already looks set to be packed full of massive matches, ROP is proud to tonight announce what we believe to be one of the most exciting matches we have promoted.
Ring of Poison, in conjunction with World Wrestling Entertainment, are tremendously proud to bring you a match that sees two men highly regarded as two of the best wrestlers in the world today. The Mexican sensation, SIN CARA will make his return to ROP for the first time in over four years, since his entry in the first Eddie Guerrero Memorial Tournament to take on possibly ROP's most impressive athlete today...CLAUDIO CASTAGNOLI.
This match is almost guaranteed to be one of the finest we here at ROP have ever seen in one of our own rings, and on a night which sees legends clash, this match sees two future legends of the business come head to head for what we are certain is the first time ANYWHERE.
