I will say, Ill miss La Mascara in CMLL. I havent care about Maximo in years and i don't even know who Bobby Villa is to really care. Im sure AAA will grab La Mascara and Maximo since they need main talent

AAA is running a show on Friday in Mexico City. It's a TV taping. There's a chance those guys show up.

It wouldn't shock me if La Mascara and/or Maximo showed up at AAA or The Crash, they especially Mascara would be a big get for those promotions.

Bobby Villa was Boby Z on CMLL. Maximo was the current CMLL heavyweight champion in the last 3 years. La Mascara was the current CMLL cruiserwight champion in the last year. Word is La Mascara and Maximo will join AAA, but will debut only in Triplemania, helping Psycho Clown to win Dr Wagner Jr's mask.

It wouldn't shock me if La Mascara and/or Maximo showed up at AAA or The Crash, they especially Mascara would be a big get for those promotions. I could easily see La Mascara coming in and succeeding. I honestly dont see Maximo succeeding as his gimmick is an exotico, so he'll most likely be stuck fighting the other exoticos, unlike CMLL where he was the only one. Im sure they'll both be hired cause of Psycho Clown and needing more stars. |

I just wondering if it were Boby Z. Dont remember hearing he was involved. I knew about Maximo having the CMLL World Heavyweight Title and La Mascara having the Light Heavyweight Title. Both titles were really unimportant, but then again the titles dont mean as much in CMLL, then again i dont see a lot of lucha promotions making titles important, or else Dinastia would have defended the title more than once every couple years |

It was probably because of the union dispute. Remember there was a big discussion in the union that led to this incident. CMLL even issued a note enforcing Nitro as secretary until new elections in December, showing the issue did not only involve the car, but a much bigger situation in the union. The belts' issue is not much importance in Mexico, but be the federation's champ is still a matter of great prestige. Texano was AAA champion for two uninterrupted years, and if he wrestled 9 title matches in that period, it was a lot. Be the champion showed he was one of the company's top wrestlers. He lost his belt only when Alberto Del Rio came to AAA. And as soon as Del Rio left, Texano was the champion again. |
