CM Punk's representatives have today announced that he will be taking some time off for surgery, Due to Nagging Injurys and risk of long term damage if he dosent oblidge.
The Intercontental champion is said to be heartbroken to have to end his long run at the top level of WWEML. The Rib injurys were substained at WWEML's 1 year anniversary special, where-as his knee trouble has been nagging him ever since his early ROP days. Doctors told WWEML's Newcast 'If (Punk) dosent get his knee ligaments sorted out he could face his career ending as early as 2008 and he could also be risking future paralysis in his left side.'
At the risk of humiliation at the hands of the Punker, Eddie Guerrero has stated the Intercontental championship match scheduled for 'WWEML 2 the death' between Punk and RVD is still on! Yet if Punk retains the belt Eddie said he may keep the championship until he returns in early 2007.
We failed to catch up with CM Punk to get his thoughts.. But right now it looks as if the popular, young, cocky, Undefeated Intercontental champions future in WWEML could be in serious doubt.
Other News:
Dave Pook has apparently decided to take an off camera roll in future WWEML events. The founder of WWEML is now a glorified member of the Championship Comitee and has decided to just 'Let Eddie Handle it.' Pook was a driving force behind wrestlers trying to dethrone the monster Brock Lesnar but it now seems as if his job is done, Following Randy Orton's WHC win at World War 3.
Rumour has it, The Black Parade will air on Christmas Day!
Kurt Angle is said to be very interested in a future match with Sting! We dont know much at this time, but Angle is hell bent on one day wrestling the former WCW champion.
Deals and Departures:
Paul London has officially resigned with WWEML, but has requested a half-year out of wrestling so he can concentrate more on building his future managerial services.. Dont ask. He is said to be particularly looking forward to getting involved with the Up and coming Cruiserweights.
Tyson Tomko has left WWEML following contract expiration.
Heidenreich has also left WWEML for the same reasons.
John Cena's WWEML career is said to be over, The rapper has not yet officially left WWEML but sources say 'Its a matter of time'.
At press time, Chris Sabin has reportedly been in contact with WWEML about a future contract. Thats all we know.
