This event looks pretty ing insane. Jon Jones vs. Rampage for the Light Heavyweight title, and Matt Hughes returns to action against the returning former UFC title contender, Josh Koscheck. Also, Nate Diaz returns to the Lightweight division against Takanori Gomi, and two heavyweight fights: Ben Rothwell vs. Mark Hunt and Travis Browne vs. Rob Broughton. I can't wait for this one. UFC 135 "JONES VS. RAMPAGE", 9/24/2011 (PPV/Spike TV/Facebook.com Stream/ESPN-UK) Pepsi Center, Denver CO1. Light Heavyweight bout: James Te Huna vs. Ricardo Romero2. Bantamweight bout: Takeya Mizugaki vs. Cole Escovedo3. Featherweight bout: Junior Assunção vs. Eddie Yagin 4. Middleweight bout: Nick Ring vs. Tim Boetsch5. Lightweight bout: Tony Ferguson vs. Aaron Riley 6. Heavyweight bout: Ben Rothwell vs. Mark Hunt7. Lightweight bout: Nate Diaz vs. Takanori Gomi 8. Heavyweight bout: Travis Browne vs. Rob Broughton 9. Welterweight bout: Matt Hughes vs. Josh Koscheck 10. Light Heavyweight Championship: Jon Jones (c) vs. Quinton Jackson*Fights 1-3 will be broadcasted live on UFC's Facebook page at 6pm ET/3pm PT; fights 4-5 will be broadcasted live on Spike TV at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
I can't wait for Diaz vs. Gomi. Nick had an amazing fight with Gomi back in PRIDE, and since both Nick and Nate have similar fighting styles, I expect this one to be exciting as well. And, of course the main event is a very much anticipated bout. This starts the next several weeks with some insane MMA. DREAM, Bellator, UFC, TitanFC, and tons others.

That's one great card... those last 4 fights are just awesome. I hope Rampage can put up a good fight against Jones - he hasn't been stopped (or badly hurt) since he's been in the UFC, but Jones is a different beast...

Man that really is do-or-die or Nate Diaz and Matt Hughes. I think there is a possibility Diaz will catch Gomi in a sub, also i think Diegos pace is going to be too much for Hughes Also Jon Jones's size, leverage, and uniqueness is going to give Rampage alot of problems

I wish Rampage actually gave a f***....
he could honestly be the best in the world. But he is only fighting for a paycheck...
I expect Rampage to crack Jones like we have never seen before...but Jones will recover and beat Jackson in the later rounds.

Very solid card, I'm predicting that Jones will win by decision.

Great fights! Gomi vs. Diaz will be very exciting, I'm gonna say Diaz by submission. I think Diego will pick up the decision over Hughes, but I would like to see Hughes pick up a victory. Lastly, I believe that Jones will beat Rampage by submission or decision. It would be VERY difficult for Jones to ko Rampage. I hope we're seeing the last couple fights from Rampage. He has completely given up on fighting. It's just a job for him now. I hope he hangs up the gloves soon. As much as I have loved watching some of his fights, I don't think he should be there if he doesn't care, especially in a title fight.

Awesome card, expecting a great showing from Hughes and Diego (though I hope Hughes will get the win) Diaz and Gomi (thinking Diaz may get the win here) and just can't go past Jon Jones against Rampage...

I don't see Hughes getting retired even with a loss. Hell he won his last three before the loss to BJ.

Diaz/Gomi should be great. I'm kinda hoping Gomi gets gogoplata'd again. My pick is Diaz.
I hope Jones runs right through Rampage. I think he'll pick him apart striking and probably mix in a few takedowns. But Rampage has 1 punch power that can end anybody's night, so who knows. But if I have to go on record, I'll take Jones by late TKO or Decision.
Hughes/Sanchez is a tough one to call. While I think Sanchez should be able to outstrike Hughes, he'll have to finish him because Hughes won't ever call it quits. And I don't think he will. I'll take Sanchez via split decision.
Rothwell/Hunt has all the makings of fight of the night. Should be a slugfest, but Rothwell will take it to the ground if/after he gets the worst of the striking. Once its there, I doubt Hunt gets back up. Rothwell by Armbar.

Pumped, was originally scheduled by work, but managed to find someone to swtich shifts with me, so I get to see this one. Also, one of my friends who is just getting into MMA is seeing this with me, first live card he's watching, all he's seen are a few of the classic fights I've showed him, some of the recent events I've picked up on DVD, and the last season of Ultimate Fighter.
I hope Hughes murders Koscheck
