A few weeks ago there was a post about a bootleg Hasbro ring that no one has ever heard of. Today I stumbled upon a picture, I'm not sure if this was what the original post was referring to, but here's a pic:

I'm not sure if its THE one he was talking about, but yes that's a bootleg ring. I've never seen that before either.

I do believe that I had that ring, or at least one like it. When I was a kid, my family got me a bootleg ring for X-mas not knowing the difference, and it was actually better - it came with a soundboard, featuring all the same clips as the UK ring.

Same thing happened to me...but the ring was a carrying case also and it came with a rectangular blue sound box with around 8 little square red buttons that triggered sounds. Someone posted it in the other bootleg ring thread I made a while back.

Actually........I was talking about the CMLL ring from OSFTM: Skribbel's ring is the same including what appears to be a sound module.

Well....... I was looking at the greyish ring with soundmodule and blue posts to the right with the Andre Hasbro in it and was comparing it to the greyish ring with soundmodule and blue posts and noticed that they look to be the same mold and color, Which ring were you looking at? Btw the newer blue CMLL ring also appears to be the same, but molded in a different color and obviously with different stickers.

who buys bootleg figures! lord you guys need to get a life Well, a lot of the members love the bootleg figures too! Just for curiosity purposes or as jobbers. Hell, my first two figures were bootlegs: 5" AWA/ He-Man like copies of Hulk Hogan and Big John Studd! Still own them today. That's my scan and real name. Later I found out it was Studd, not Hercules (Hernandez). Oh and to shock you: there are people who only collect bootlegs (think of them as the rebels under the collectors).
