I don't want to sound like a dick, but I kept seeing this guy's name pop up all over my facebook newsfeed thinking who?. What's worse, was I was a HUGE Jackass fan back in the day. I just didn't recall any of their names. Anyway, I told my friend about this and he was shocked so sat me down and we watched Jackass 3 and the special features together.
THEN it hit me how central Ryan Dunn actually was, and how close he and Bam were (Bam was always my favourite). So yeah, this is really sad to see. These two were always hanging together during the stunts, and even when they were interviewed. I'd hate to be in that situation, and I think it's something you can never really recover from. I mean, what, they met as teens? and now their in their 30's? sad stuff. especially when the Jackass crew (at least for me) felt like your own friends when you were 13/14.

Go i hate Bam so f'n much, but with that being said . Its still a really sad video, cant really help but feel sorry for him. Its not easy to lose a friend. Such a shame to hear about his BAC too.

Really sad he died. Was one of my favorite Jackass members. I feel worse for Bam and the rest of his family and friends. To lose someone your that close to must be rough. What Dunn did was wrong. Was he a good man? yes. Did he die doing the wrong thing? The answer would also hafta be yes. I love the man for being a great reality star and I looked up to him as a kid but he should have never entered the car.

I feel really bad for Bam as well as everyone else who knew Dunn. I'm still in shock that he died. I am a big fan of the Jackass/CKY stuff and this really sucks. Regardless of reckless driving or drinking and driving, it is still a terrible tragedy.
I just hope the impact killed him and the passenger instantly and painlessly, because I can't imagine dying from burning and I really don't want to.

The last two nights I was watching Haggard and Minghags with my girlfriend, It felt weird watching it but good to see Ryan doing his think on camara.

Still upset about this...the toxicology report said his blood alcohol level was almost 2 and a half times the legal limit here in PA. It's just a shame...I think it's hit me more today than the past two days watched this today...one of my favorite jackass moments Stilt Boxing has to be one of my favorite sketches with Dunn in it. ing sad to watch ANYONE morn the loss of a close friend. Dunn was easily my favorite member of the CKY crew and I will miss him dearly. |

Man, this is just a terrible tragedy in every aspect. If only we could somehow rewind time and go back 2 days and stop him from getting into his car that night or stop him from going out to the bar or take his keys away while at the bar or do anything to alter this tragic outcome. If I could do it, I would.
It really saddens me when tragedies like this could be easily avoided, but when it's your time, it's your time and there's nothin' you can do about it.
That was their fate that night. It was their fate to go out to the bar that night. It was their fate to drink as much as they did and it was their fate to ultimately leave the bar and get into that car together and crash and die together.
If only something different would've happened to change that outcome...Took a cab home, someone took his keys away, they stayed in that night, etc....If any of those happened, they would both still be alive today...
Unfortunately, that's not how it went down....

Wow, I feel really sad very Bam. You could just tell in the CKY/Jackass scene that they were best buds. They grew up together and when you lose someone you have known for 20 plus years it's tough to get over. I really hope Bam gets better and he and all the others can remember Dunn and all the stuff that made him awesome. Hopefully they can all move on with their lives, that's what Dunn would probably want.
R.I.P. Ryan Dunn. Jackass won't be the same anymore, and I can say it may end soon...

This was a rough watch. I still can't believe he's gone. I grew up watching the CKY videos on loop at my friend's house and Dunn was the only one to make me legit laugh because he has the same dry, sarcastic delivery I do. He was by far the funniest of the crew and I will truly miss him.
Also I noticed my previous thread was locked due to arguing. That's just sad on so many levels.
