Loved the movie. Chris Evans proved he could do the role. I didn't know it was going to be so long but to be honest it didn't feel that way. The story was very detailed without having it feel like it was staying in one spot for to long. The only thing that bugged me but also was funny is when one of Caps army buddies stated he was from Fresno CA. The whole crowed loled and clapped cause that the city we are in.
Really though it did do justice to the standards of the first IronMan movie. Marvel really did a great job in planing their films to be both separate and together at the same time. I just wish Norton was coming back as Banner.
I also wish DC could take a few notes and get on the ball.

Another great film from Marvel. They just can't let us down at this point, all cylinders are on fire right now when it comes to their films.
P.S. Lots of people laughed when they mentioned Paramus, NJ in the film hence where I was.

Saw this on Wednesday. I liked it for the acting and the character of Captain America, but something about it felt off. It was too light and unguided to really grab my attention. Served its purpose though, I cant wait for The Avengers, especially after the trailer!

Loved it!
Solid film from start to finish (The Avengers teaser knocked my socks off!)
I love the modern ending, mostly because I was an extra in it! :-D Yeah,I was there in Times Square when they were filming that scene and ended up being one of the crowd! So cool! I honestly thought that scene was going to be in Avengers though, I'm surprised it showed up here, as they only shot it a few months ago.
The cast all did a great job, I love that they set up Winter Soldier with Bucky. Sebastian Stan, who I have always thought was a crap actor, actually did a really good job. Neal McDonough was PERFECT as Dum Dum in my opnion, and the rest of the Howling Commandos were awesome too.
Evans, WOW, did he blow my expectations away, in no way did I think he'd be THAT good as Cap.
4.5/5 just a fantastic summer film, and the best comic book adaptation this year!

Awesome movie! I don't know a lot about Captain America but I still enjoyed it. Lots of action and like everyone said the Avengers teaser was great. Worst part for me were these Mexicans near the front of the theater that were on their iPhones the whole time.

Was there another avengers teaser at the end? Another as in different than the one leaked online? No. Another as in different than that logo teaser with the v/o from Sam Jackson? HELL YES!

I thought it was good. I went to see it with a few friends, but I could barely hear the movie over the top of the two Jewish guys in front of me complaining about popcorn prices.

I finally got to see it today, and I was very pleased. I thought all of the performances were great. The CGI seemed uneven in places, but the CGI on making Evans looks small was great.
I would have liked to have seen more of Cap fighting in the war. Cap and Batman have been my favorite comic characters since I started reading comics in the late 70's. It's so great having great movies for both of them.
I am so pumped for the Avengers, it's ridiculous.

I thought it was great. Good mix of humour and action. Even Tommy Lee Jones, who I'm usually not a fan of, held it together. Plus Hayley Atwell isn't too tough to look at the whole time. I'm excited for the Avengers, but something about it gives me the "this is going to be a cluster " vibe. I sure hope I'm wrong.

Saw it Saturday and I thought it was really good. The acting was great. And I especially loved seeing Tommy Lee Jones.
The preview at the end was out of this world. I'm so pumped about how well they've set up for the Avengers movie. Can not wait.
I'd give it an 8.5 outta 10. Very good Marvel movie, but my favorite is still the Norton-Hulk movie.
