Would have definitely picked Why Try or Walking Away from the new album, but this pack is pretty bad ass. And it's about time we got some more Limp Bizkit on here. My Way is gonna be fun as hell, and I'll definitely have visions of Austin/Rock from Wrestlemania X-Seven, and the various other feud builder videos from the time, dancing in my head as I play it.

I think I'll just get "My Way" and that's it.

My reaction to the DLC (not just this week but for like 5 months)

Eh I'll probably get My Way and maybe Nookie. Nookie was fun on GH.

Got a 1600 card after work. Limp Bizkit for sure, plus some RBN tracks. I grabbed:
"Surface" by Imperative Reaction "Category I: Slave To The Empirical" by Ethereal Collapse* "Nemesis" by Arch Enemy "No Ghost" by The Haunted "In Division" by underOATH "Abigail" by Motionless In White "Stabbing The Drama" by Soilwork
*- I met the drummer of Ethereal Collapse at Guitar Center in Scranton, PA before Uproar Fest in August. He actually pointed out that they were on RBN. I was BS'ing on the electronic drum kit, and my friend says "Alright Mr. Rock Band, let's see what you got." And Kris [the drummer] says "You play Rock Band? We have a song on Rock Band Network. Handed me a card with the link for the band's FB, and his own personal FB page. Took me long enough to get the song, LMAO!
And I just blew 80 points on a song I already had, but it didn't show as having! "Beautiful Machine" by Rose Of Jericho. It did NOT say "In Library" or "Purchased" next to it. Had the 80MSP as the price. So pissed off. I wanna get all the Rose Of Jericho tracks, they're a band I've come to like via RBN, and I'm mad as sh*t that I wasted points on a song I already had, but the game showed I didn't. And sure enough, when it downloaded, it showed up twice in my setlist. UGH! First time that has ever happened. Oh well. I still got points for Limp Bizkit. That's what matters.

Overall...meh.
Coldplay could be worth buying, depending on the songs. Stevie Wonder I'm pretty excited about.
I could not possibly care less about Breaking Benjamin or Dream Theater. It's literally impossible. So uninterested in either of those bands.

I'm painfully uninterested in Coldplay, Stevie Wonder and Breaking Benjamin and I'm extremely bothered that there's only one Dream Theater track

So I'm guessing the Dream Theater song will be Pull Me Under. If not then it's probably going to be On the Backs of Angels off the new album.
Also finally we get's some Coldplay. Just hope it's stuff from their first 3 albums. Viva La Vida wouldn't be too bad, but if it'd any of that Mylo Xyloto bullsh*t then forget it.

I will actually die of shock if it's anything but Pull Me Under in which case I'll just be stupendously happy.

I can only wonder what Breaking Benjamin songs we're gonna get. Hopefully at least a new 3 pack. I would bet that one is "Blow Me Away" with Valora. I HOPE that one is Give Me A Sign or Dear Agony. I'll cry if we get one of those.

Awesome to hear about there being more Breaking Benjamin on the way. I definitely wasn't expecting that seeing as they split. Can't wait to see which songs they are.

Ben fired the bassist and guitarist for making unauthorized decisions when it came to the song Blow Me Away - I can only guess that means he didn't approve the version of it with Valora. He said he has every intention of continuing Breaking Benjamin as a 2 piece band, and work will resume when the lawsuit that Ben filed over the song is settled.

I guess 'split' wasn't the right word to use, but they're certainly not together anymore, that's for sure.

Oh, and as per Henry with Harmonix:
He also stated that none of the bands revealed in the FB push [Coldplay, Stevie Wonder, Breaking Benjamin, Dream Theater] are this week's announcement.
Gonna guess Five Finger Death Punch or Evanescence. FFDP is RBN stuff, sure, so that might take them out of the running. Evanescence is not "old people" music, and they have had a DLC pack before. And they have their new album [FINALLY] releasing this coming Tuesday, so it coincides.

I would say the Evenescence also, but Wind-Up likes to go through the Rock Band network (Evenescence, Seether, Finger Eleven, Creed, Drowning Pool) so I could almost not see this happen as well. Same thing with Five Finger Death Punch... more of a Rock Band Network band as well.

Definitely not what could have been: Blink-182 and The Clash [who just got a full damn album earlier this year.......
