Here's hoping RBN has something decent this week. It's really turned into what I expected it from the start to be. A way for unknowns to get their music out there without putting it online; like YouTube or something where people will steal it. There's been some gems, like 2 FFDP songs, 2 KMFDM songs, 4 Seether songs, some ATR, and the entirety of "Infected Nations" by Evile. Don't get me wrong, I've learned of several new bands via RBN, but there just hasn't been anything super mind-blowing on there in several months.

I really dig the Bang Camaro stuff on there (though I REALLY want Miss Illusion and She's Gone Critical) but aside from that the RBN has been really weak.

I'm not mad about Nirvana. But what I am disappointed about is....of ALL WEEKS to coincide a DLC artist with a release of an album by that same artist.....why Nirvana? A band who's got 15 songs ALREADY, and they're releasing another 4 pack? Why the hell couldn't they do that with Dream Theater last week? A band who has 2 songs. Not 2 three packs, certainly not 2 albums.......2 songs. In over 3 years at that. They just dropped an album last week, why couldn't we get that? Damn.
Saving grace for this pack is You Know You're Right. I love that song.

This month alone we could've got more stuff from Dream Theater, Anthrax, Primus, Machine Head, Mastodon, Alice Cooper, etc to coincide with new albums and we got absolutely nothing instead. What a joke.

Have been wanting "Heart Shaped Box" and "You Know You're Right" to be DLC for quite a long time but in the past year or so I've kinda fell out of love with Nirvana so it's an alright week but nothing I'm going to run out and get this week.

Hoping that Blink gets a pack when their new CD is released. It's really good.
Also anyone know why "Movies" by Alien Ant Farm is on RBN but says "Song currently unavailble"?

Greatest DLC of 2011, hands down, bar none, [insert any other like phrase here].
Haven't marked like this since the announcement for Dec. 8, 2009. Slipknot Pack 01. I was absolutely thinking too, we got Nirvana for an album anniversary, so give me more Slipknot to tie in with Iowa. Wasn't expecting it to be this soon but I will damn sure take it! Especially with Pulse Of The Maggots included in it. Definitely a pleasant surprise. And I'm going to cry when I play Snuff. No lies.

Just got caught up. Needed 4 singles from the week with Heart, and then I needed packs from Incubus, Fall Out Boy, RHCP, Weezer, Cheap Trick, and Nirvana, plus singles from EMF and Janis Joplin. 30 songs or so, I was behind. I still have enough for Slipknot next week, and can get 4 RBN tracks if I choose. See what else is on the Marketplace first, for up to 740 points, as I have 1300, and 560 is imperative for Slipknot.

Eeeeee! It's finally here tomorrow! Since Slipknot 02 was announced, the days are going so slow, but soon the wait will be over. Hell I'll probably have a 2nd wind and be up at 5 so I'll probably get the pack before I go to bed.
And Machine Head's new album is finally out tomorrow so I will be buying that too.

Why is everyone so excited for Slipknot? I never got the appeal.
