most of the under card guys are Paid Per Appearance, so they arent dead weight, they're just there. Hogan is dead weight from a financial stand point, he brings nothing to the table, can't wrestle, doesn't draw the way they hoped, and his ideas arent very good. Sting and Bish i can't argue they do their jobs and do them well so keep them around but Hogan is the definition of dead weight. but it's still money TNA has to pay out for a low return. they need to develop a full time employed roster and stick with it. they wanna bring guys like Jerry Lynn in for a small run and a PPP role, that's fine. But don't make him part of the regular roster. Hogan may seem dead weight to most IWC & hardcore wrestling fans, but the fact is that ratings haven't really changed with him there. however he IS still one of the biggest names in wrestling. NOT having him there would be a big loss for TNA just on name value alone. Who knows how much they are paying him but I guarantee Hogan is more of value to TNA than Orlando Jordan. |

Spike buying the company wont make TNA or Impact whatever they're called....any better. Turner bought Jim Crockett promotions and the ratings/numbers still sucked for them until they did one key thing.....PUT SOMEONE IN CHARGE THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY'RE DOING!!

If you're the "biggest name in wrestling" and you can't even bring in a slight number increase you're really not earning your pay check. Look at what The Rock did for WWE's numbers, then try to tell me Hogan is even still in that ball park. |
