I love the fact Jim Rome has offered Punk 45 minutes on his show to finish his rant that was cut off on Raw LOL

Am I the only one who didn't agree with anything he said? If he really meant it, then he's an arrogant mark for himself who's ungrateful for the opportunity he was given. "Duane" fought through political bullcrapfrom the kliq to get where he did, Punk just gives up.

Yeah if that whole promo came from the heart, I call it sour grapes. He said it wasn't, but then proceeded to bitch about every little thing he possibly could, so... sour grapes.

^^^ Hell, it's not like you're going to agree with what he said anyway - look at the pic in your sig and what's written under it.

I thought it was brilliant and it needed to be said. Everything he said is probebly true and WWE has been failing for years now due to Vince and company.
I dont care if it was a work at least people are starting to wake up and see the rot in WWE!

These last few days have made it clear that a lot of the members on this board don't have jobs. I say that because only crazy people vent like that while gainfully employed. The crazy venting emails always come when an employee is leaving to go to another company.
Sour grapes would be him leaving in the middle of his contract because he was passed over for a title run. If a true shoot, then his actions are no different than that of a disgruntled employee already headed out the door after putting in their two week notice.

It's kind of funny... cause when I was bartending and they "let me go"... they let me finish up the rest of my bartending schedule. I was saying the same exact thing to customers and my fellow employees.. "WHAT ARE THEY GONNA DO? FIRE ME?!" haha. I made lik $600 on my last night.
It's a weird position to be in, knowing you're leaving. You kind of don't give a f*ck.

It was this female flight attendant's last day on the job and she was just being a rude and snotty to all the passengers because she had that "What are they gonna do? Fire me?" attitude. Then during the flight the top of the plane ripped off and she was sucked out and killed instantly.

You get so wreckless, and it's like your bosses don't gaf, unless you break or steal something.

^^^ Hell, it's not like you're going to agree with what he said anyway - look at the pic in your sig and what's written under it. I know, completely ridiculous to think that two icons of their generation going head to head = the biggest match of all time. I get it. You like CM Punk. CM Punk is better than everyone, better than the WWE itself, and he can do no wrong. CM Punk could face himself in a match and it would the best match of the night. CM Punk can know Hulk Hogan and The Rock are ass-kissers despite him not even being in the company at the time. CM Punk is God. CM Punk is anti-establishment, which means he's cool... But he ain't bigger than The Rock vs. John Cena at WrestleMania. I like him, but you are completely biased in favour of him, which is frankly ridiculous.

That match is drawing for The Rock only, they could put anybody against him and it would do the same, Cena may sell Merchandise but he doesn't move ratings or boost PPV buyrates.

The same can be said about you with the rock and this is only judging off a few posts I've seen you make in the last few days. Well, Rock is one of the highest-drawing Wrestlers in history, and made a million people tune in for his return promo. I'm also not sure how "a few posts" is a good sample size of someone's opinion on anything. Unless their names is dedicated to a certain thing (like the Punk fan's), then you need to know the poster to know what they're all about. Punk is amazing, but the truth is it's easier for WWE to rely on Rock (and Cena, to a lesser degree) to make missing this dream Match the night/subsequent days after seem like something you'll regret for the rest of your life. Rock and Cena are drawing more than Punk and Cena would, in all likelihood. Now, that said, it doesn't mean Punk being in a tremendous storyline with Cena, with work put into it wouldn't draw a good buyrate for 'Mania, either, but it likely wouldn't be as big as a WrestleMania headlined by Rock/Cena would be.

You gonna act like its NOT one of the biggest matches in pro wrestling? Sure it is... but it's certainly not the biggest match of all time. It's the biggest upcoming match. No other company will ever top this match next year. It's literally the two most famous wrestlers fighting in the biggest sports pay-per-view of the year. Their has to be less than maybe 5 thousand people on this Earth who don't know who Cena or Rock is. Even if you are barely a wrestling fan, you know who they are. If they are fighting on a PPV especially at the likes of a wrestlemania, it's going to be big.

You gonna act like its NOT one of the biggest matches in pro wrestling? Sure it is... but it's certainly not the biggest match of all time. Ehh... It very well could be, as much as I hate to admit it. No other matched has ever been announced this far in advance, that's pretty crazy IMO. As much as I don't like Cena, I'm really anticipating this match. If it was CM Punk vs. Cena, it wouldn't be anywhere near as exciting, not even close. Punk may be pissed that the Rock is in the main event of WM 28, but it's not the Rock's fault that he's a much bigger draw than CM Punk will ever be. He's all butt hurt because he's not on the cups and program's and stuff. Well, when you don't put asses in seats or aren't a big enough draw then you're not gonna get promoted as much. That's how it is, it's not the WWE's fault that Punk isn't a big enough draw for them and now he's bitching and moaning because the he thinks he should be main eventing and should be promoted as much as Cena. What he doesn't seem to realize is that's not how it works. That's how it is in the WWE, if you don't make them any money or help sell tickets, you're not going to get promoted as much and most people are usually okay with that, they're just thankful to even have a job in the WWE and if they aren't happy about it, then in the case of CM Punk, don't let the door hit you on the way out. He may be an amazing wrestler, one of the best in the world, and really good on the mic and commentary, but that don't mean sh*t if the majority of WWE's audience aren't interested in you. Is that fair, no definitely not, but that's just how it is.
