Sure it is... but it's certainly not the biggest match of all time. It's the biggest upcoming match. No other company will ever top this match next year. It's literally the two most famous wrestlers fighting in the biggest sports pay-per-view of the year. Their has to be less than maybe 5 thousand people on this Earth who don't know who Cena or Rock is. if you are barely a wrestling fan, you know who they are. If they are fighting on a PPV especially at the likes of a wrestlemania, it's going to be big. lol... I'd say 2billion at the very least don't know who they are, probably closer to 3 or 4 billion. Also, lol at the Rock's tweet about being bigger than Punk ever will be.

While CM Punk has noted on WWE television in recent weeks that he would be done with the WWE come July 17th, 2011 at the WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view, stating that he would take the WWE Championship to promotions such as New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor, it seems as if Punk could be staying with the company, despite recent claims. Speaking to several sources, while many people in the WWE office are under the assumption that Punk is done with the company following the WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view, CM Punk met with WWE Chairman and CEO, Vince McMahon, prior to Monday’s WWE RAW tapings at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada to discuss terms on a new contract with the company. As part of the contract, Punk is looking for a break of time to be included in his contract, as he has been looking to allow his body to heal up in recent months. With the WWE’s interest in Ring of Honor tag team, The Kings of Wrestling, Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli and an offer on the table for the tag team duo, it has made Punk’s views on his standpoint in the company seem on better standing, as Punk is great friends with Chris Hero ever since their days in IWA-Mid South and Ring of Honor, while Punk also considers Claudio Castagnoli a good friend of his. Punk has also asked for the WWE to get in touch with Colt Cabana about a potential return to the company, where he would be guaranteed with a spot on the main roster. Cabana previously wrestled in the WWE for a brief period, under the name of Scotty Goldman. As you are well aware, Cabana and Punk are best friends from their days on the independent scene and are always seen at events together if both companies are in town, with Punk at times phoning in unannounced to Colt Cabana’s Art of Wrestling podcast. Meanwhile, while many were in awe that CM Punk mentioned former WWE Champion and current UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) star, Brock Lesnar, as well as former ECW promoter, Paul Heyman, it may seem as if Punk may have been let in on WWE’s plans. According to a report from F4WOnline, WWE are in negotiations with both Heyman and Lesnar, regarding what has been described as a “business relationship” and a non-televised role. It has been noted in recent years, ever since his departure from the company, that the WWE had been looking to work on a DVD of Brock Lesnar’s brief WWE career, however it is unknown as to what Heyman’s potential role would be, as he is believed to have been in discussion with Spike TV officials regarding their potential majority buyout of TNA Wrestling. All in all, it promises to be an interesting few weeks to see where things go following the July 17th Money in the Bank pay-per-view, as Punk has got the whole wrestling world talking. source: wrestlingpronews.com/2011/06/...-wwe-contract/

I'm heading to a live event house show here in Australia tonight. Will be interesting to see what he does and how they handle it. He is here, he's supposedly got a signing today but I can't make it.

For the record if there is gonna be a Indy Faction have it be Punk, Cabana, Hero, Castagnoli, Bryan, Bourne , Black and Kaval and have them invade Raw and SD

^ You do know Kaval's been gone for like half a year now, right? There's a thing called resigning him, I don't even want an Indy Faction but there's been about 2 threads about an Indy Group and i just thought there's alot of former ROH Wrestlers in the WWE so if WWE were to make one have the guys that i just mentioned be in it Anyway CM Punk's worked shoot has almost 1 million views on Youtube, Damn what a promo from Punk and its got the whole Wrestling World talking about it even the media is talking about it

Details On The Meeting Between CM Punk & Vince McMahon Prior To RAW Last Monday As noted a few days ago, CM Punk met with WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon privately prior to last Monday’s RAW to further discuss his status with the company, but at that point there was no word on how that meeting exactly went… until now. The meeting between the two parties occurred as rehearsals for the show were being walked through and what was discussed is for Punk to be treated more like a main event guy, as well as some time off to heal his body after nearly 6 years without a break. Those close to Punk say he also mentioned his best friend, Ring of Honor wrestler Colt Cabana in the meeting, asking Vince to bring him back to the company and straight to the main roster as insurance that Punk would sign a new contract. No word on what else was said in the meeting after that point, but in total the meeting lasted for nearly 2 hours in McMahon’s office. It should be noted that the belief coming out of the meeting was that Punk could be re-thinking leaving the company, but it is not set in stone. Why was the topic about Punks name being trademarked deleted? I didn't even read the post. Was it legit? WWE TO MARKET CM PUNK On June 22nd, WWE registered to trademark CM Punk for merchandise use. They trademarked his name back in 2009 for wrestling use, so it will be interesting to see if they allow him to use the name post-WWE. But then they also trademarked Tommy Dreamer and he's been using it everywhere after he left. source: pwinsider.com

If Punk's promo is any indication of his true feelings toward the company, why the hell bother re-signing, and further still requesting to get your best friend to come to this company ran by 'douchebag yes men'?
Either Punk doesn't really hold such a negative view or the guy's a hypocrite.
