So I keep a database of sorts on figures. A nice, organized Excel file where I update Series, etc.
I also have a page where I keep the roster updated and who I have figures of. I don't include or care about divas or their figures so I don't pay any attention to it.
Not including the announcers, there are 30 superstars on the RAW roster.
The only members of the RAW roster that Mattel has not made or announced to be made yet are:
Alex Riley
Curt Hawkins
Husky Harris
Mason Ryan
Michael McGillicutty
Tyler Reks
Riley's been scanned, Husky Harris may not even come back to the main roster as "Husky Harris" if at all, I think it's pretty safe to say we'll definitley get a McGillicutty sooner than later.
There are 25 active Smackdown roster members.
The only members of the Smackdown roster that Mattel has not made or announced to be made yet are:
Brodus Clay
Jinder Mahal
Johnny Curtis
Sin Cara
Trent Barreta
Brodus Clay might not even be on the main roster anymore now that he's not with Del Rio, Mahal has only been around a month, Curtis hasn't even officially debuted yet, and I believe Mattel has said they are already working on Sin Cara.
So when you really look at it, Mattel IS covering the entire roster pretty well. Now this is just Basic Series. Elites have a long way to catch up, but it's still pretty complete as far as "main event" stars go.
Obviously announcers & refs are not on their (Mattel's) priority list.
It's too bad really because they are all such a big part of the WWE itself there should be figures made of guys like Cole, Justin Roberts, Josh Matthews, etc. However I do realize the market is small for those type of figures. I hope they can figure something out in the near future.
