Checked out Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire today.
Not quite what I was hoping for. LOVED Afterlife, though it was a fantastic follow-up to the originals. This thing seemed a bit all over the place...
I think Ghostbusters fans are interested in catching up with the original team (Peter, Ray, Winston) and expanding on the new 'Busters (Phoebe, The Mom, Gary, etc).... but I felt like we spent a lot of time spinning our wheels with yet NEW characters, (Ghost Melody, the Indian Guy, Winston's new scientist)... in other words, I think the cast was so big that nobody felt central and it just felt flat for me.
The plot just seemed to be all over the place... are we concerned that the containment unit is breaking down? Are we concerned about the Mayor coming after the Ghostbusters? The orb/Garraka even felt like an afterthought once they navigated through various mini-issues....
I dunno as I said, I LOVED Afterlife but I felt like I left this movie un-satisfied.... most people online have been raving about how good it was so maybe after a second watch (and my expectations in check) I'll feel differently.
But I was disappointed.

I’m a huge Godzilla fan and thought the trailer made this movie look like it was gonna be rough. That being said, this movie was a blast, probably 75% monster action.

Godzilla X Kong. Very enjoyable like the entire monster verse.
Code 8 1 & 2. Pretty decent watches I have to say.

American Splendor Le Samourai Double Jeopardy Monkey Man
All enjoyable! Monkey Man may be my last viewing at my local theatre. In 10 days it's closing and the nearest one is a 1.5 hours drive away. Goodnight, sweet prince.
