Trying to think of some wrestlers who, when they left, never showed up again...whether in WWF/WWE, WCW, ECW, or wherever. One that comes to mind is Bruno Sammartino. I've heard he absolutely hates the wrestling business now, and did during the Attitude Era too. I don't think he's ever shown up for anything. If I'm right, you are asking about guys who left and never showed up in the biz again at all? Yes, that list is small indeed. They either take a couple of paydays in Japan or have a short run in a small company to generate interest. Just about every wrestler named in this thread has come back at least for 1 or 2 dates. Even after Bruno left the WWF, he was the ref at Halloween Havoc '89 and worked for Herb Abrams' UWF in the early 90s.
