Earlier today, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson posted a 10-minute video running down John Cena for talking trash about him on WWE's recent Australian tour. The Rock vowed to whoop John Cena's ass before WrestleMania and made a few comments that some people might consider borderline homophobic, including saying that Cena's wristbands make him look like a "bloated transvestite Wonder Woman." Cena responded to The Rock on Wednesday afternoon with the following statement on Twitter: " CeNation. Just saw Dwayne's statement. Via satellite of course. Sad, really. It was like an episode of mad money." " I wonder if GLAAD will be offended by Dwayne's comments." " Either way..looks like I have really made him mad. But, certainly not mad enough to show up and do anything. Maybe he can send a stuntman." " Dwayne. I am a WWE employee, and a proud one. The difference between us is you left for 'greener pastures'. For me...this is what I love." " I have never begged for anyones admiration or acceptance, u don't believe me..watch MITB. Its not about that. Its about showing up." Id rather wrestle a thousand 'punks' than one 'rock'. Because I can see his passion. Wish I could see yours...yer just never there. " Until april 1st. Keep on bringing it my man. You're doing great. Your friend John Cena"

Annnnnnnnnd I've lost interest in this. Miz and Jericho's Twitter feud was so much better.

I like John Cena. But after seeing CM Punk completely destroy him, The People's Champ just isn't looking as strong, or to be honest, as interesting as he used to. His theory of getting more buys than Punk will be put to the test throughout the years to come.

Yeah. Cena definitely got the best of The Rock this time.

I thought Rock had his point with his long ass promo but Cena got him good in just a few tweets.

Cena just says the same thing over and over... ...so does Rock? If Rock has a problem with being called out on not being there, perhaps he should've used different words other than "never leave". Saying "never leave" kind of implies that you will...you know...make more than one appearance in fourteen weeks.

Am I the only one who isn't really looking forward to this match next year at Mania? I would much rather see something else headline the show instead of this. Just saying...

Cena got him with the first promo, and everything since then has just been......pointless. Rock said he'd never leave, then he left. Cena said Rock would leave, and Rock left. Simple as that.

LOL.
...or maybe Hollywood hasn't come knocking on your door Cena.
Who gives a sh*t if the Rock left for Hollywood!? He gave us five AMAZING years, five years that were five times better than Cena's whole career.
I wish people would see that Rocky has a passion in acting. Who the hell are we to judge or take away something he loves.

I wish people would see that Rocky has a passion in acting. Who the hell are we to judge or take away something he loves. Then maybe he should stop saying how much he loves the WWE and its' fans? If he wants to act, act. No need to act while still saying he loves everyone involved in WWE. Doing that does nothing but create the expectation that he'll do something in regards to wrestling.

So he should stop mentioning how much he loves the company/fans. THAT is the issue. If he never said how much he loved it, people wouldn't expect him to come back. I'm not going to fault a guy for making more money doing safer work. But to kiss the fans' asses and then get put off by the fact that they now expect you do back up your love is stupid of him.

Late 96 and 97 were hardly amazing, not even good, really. 2002 wasn't that great either.

So once he started acting he can no longer be a fan of the WWE and show respect for the place that gave him his start without being expected to appear every night?

Kayfabe or not... In this entire "feud" Cena has been the better of the two in just about every way.
Rock's had some good shots, but Cena has been speaking truth and calling out all of Rocky's faults. Then Rock comes back and just calls Cena a "bad name"
Rock sure has done a whole lot of nothing since saying he was back home, and never leaving again. Don't people understand that it's not the fact some of us feel like Rock left us in the dust...it's the fact that for YEARS he went on saying he was done with wrestling, he was no longer The Rock, he wanted nothing to do with it....when no one would even know who he was without the WWE. Then the last year he makes this big comeback, they bend over backwards for him, he apologizes for the wrongs, says he's "not leaving"....and he hasn't shown up on TV more than twice in the last 4 months.
I still feel like they may not make it to WM28. I think it was pretty stupid to "book" a match a year in advance...so many things could happen.
