I think the best TNA figures released to date are the AJ Styles and Samoa Joe double pack, its an amazing set to start a TNA collection

My personal favorites (keep in mind that I don't buy the Best of TNA line because I'm not fond of repaints/variants):
Styles/Joe 2-Pack: Free CD! Gotta love it. Massively out of scale, but I love 'em for it. Joe's fantastic in black and white, I prefer that paint scheme much over TNA 5's paint job. Styles is a behemoth, a full head taller than all his other figures, but we finally get a super-poseable Styles without the damned "action feature"!
TNA 2 Hardy- Love the paint job, and one of the first TNA figs to come with the movable abdomen. Still holds up really well.
TNA 3 Brown- Really captured how much of a beast Monty is. Pretty movable, too.
TNA 4 Nash- TNA's first attempt at a really huge guy, with fantastic results. Arms were a little stiff, but the paint job and attention to detail is fantastic. Love the movable abdomen.
TNA 4 Williams- Small and agile, and bendable as hell. Nailed the Team Canada attire, too. I prefer it over TNA 3 Sabin because the legs are a lot easier to pose.
TNA 4 Rhyno- Just an all-around good figure: good paint job, lots of articulation, nice accessory, etc.
TNA 5 Hoyt- Love this guy. Absolutely. Mine is the perfect mixture of slightly stiff but super-poseable. The ball joint that connects his leg to his hip needs to be standard for every TNA fig. Not stiff at all, but stands straight as hell no matter how you pose it.
TNA 5 Kip James- Realistically, it's basically the Styles mold with Kip's head and a different paint job. Doesn't make it any less cool, though.
TNA 5 Sting- Rare, but more than worth the chase. Even the fact that the arms are molded to have the trench coat on and the figure looks weird without the trench coat doesn't stop me from taking this figure out once in a while and admiring it. They've captured every last nook and cranny of that outfit, parts I didn't even know were on there! Not only that, it's a fantastically proportioned figure- no huge gut and small legs, no wide chest, etc. The face mold is basically uncanny. Add in the movable abdomen and a great trench coat, and you've got, IMO, TNA's best figure to date.
That took a little longer than I expected, lol. Hope it helps.
