I was totally expecting Vince to turn around at the end of the show and tell Cena he's fired. I mean on Raw he did say he would walk down and do it, I thought he wouldve done it on the actual ppv.

Cena's going nowhere, rightly so.

Remember, when Cena gets fired, he gets to show up the next night so he can say goodbye to everyone.
Then he just keeps showing up anyway.

I'm glad he didn't fire Cena. Cause this is Punk's night. I don't want BS going around with Cena stealing the spotlight and ending the PPV.
It was perfect the way it was.

It's all just a storyline. If Punk was really going to walk away from WWE they would have never even put him in the title picture. He probably would have just been in the MITB ladder match. However, storyline well played. I'm eager to see what happens next.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Cena fan, but I welcome the idea of him taking some lengthy time off. All that needs to be done is to build up this match with Rock which is a long way away yet. Give him a rest in terms of TV time, let him have some literal rest and he can come back in a few months. What should be done now is seeing how other members of the RAW roster can far when the top guy isn't about.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with this storyline. I could see Vince saying he'll re-sign Punk and then Punk only agreeing to come back with the WWE Title if Vince brings Cena back, too, since Cena saved Punk from getting screwed out of the title.

I think WWE kind of gave it away by advertising Cena vs The Rock at Wrestlemania right before the match last night.
