So now that I have won the previous game hosted on WF [WF Big Brother 7] the next game will start. It should have started a while ago but I had issues so yeah better late than never!
WF Survivor III: Redemption Island was already decided to be next so I will be the host like I've been for the previous 2 seasons of WF Survivor. I have a lot of experience hosting and am active on here so I have confidence that this game will go well like previous seasons. I will also have a helper in my friend Jack so that should make this run even smoother.
I don't know if people have seen the last season of Survivor on TV [Season 22 Redemption Island] but this game is basically that format. Of course we are not on an island and physically together but it manages to be a fun experience and you still have to 'Outwit, Outplay, and Outlast' other people.
The main difference between this season and the former two I've hosted on WF is that when someone is voted out they are NOT gone right away.
Instead that person has a second chance at life and will get to fight their way back if they survive enough duels with others who have been voted out. Although if you lose a duel you are out for good!
It adds more strategy to the game and gives people more chances to win so it is cool twist imo.
Not really a mystery twist but Hidden Immunity Idols will be back again.
When I get all the people signed up I will use a random list generator to create the tribes. They will each have 8 newbies and 2 former players of my Survivor games. So that means each tribe will start out with 10 players.
I will also ask everyone to vote for a tribe captain and to figure out a name for their tribe.
Once they are decided I will pick out an online game for everyone to play and send it to you all. That is your immunity challenge for the week [well the whole cycle will probably last less than a week. EX: Immunity Challenge 2-3 days, Tribal Council 1-2 days, and later on Redemption Island Duels 1-2 days (although duels can happen at the same time as other stuff) so most week cycles will be like 4-6 days].
Immunity challenges will at first take place between the two tribes.
The two tribes will face each other in challenges with the tribe that has the best combined scores of all of their members being safe from Tribal Council. The losing tribe will go to Tribal Council where one of their members will be voted out and sent to Redemption Island.
Scores for challenges are expected to be complete within the time limit which I usually set at 48-60 hours.
Tribal council votes will be expected to be turned in in a shorter amount of time like 36 hours.
Redemption Island Duel scores are usually expected to be turned in 36-48 hours.
If you fail to send in a score at first it will really hurt your tribe and if your tribe ends up losing you seriously increase your chances of being voted out to Redemption Island. So if you don't think you can keep up with this schedule and send in scores please don't take up a spot because it isn't fair to others who could be on your tribe and people who would have played had their been a spot open.
Going back to Redemption Island this is how the Redemption Island Duels initially work:
When the first person is voted out of the game they will go to Redemption Island. After the second person is voted out of the game they will join the 1st person on Redemption Island. This is when the duels start.
The two people will have to face off in an individual online game with the person who does the best staying around on Redemption Island able to still win the game and the person who got the weaker score will be officially out of the game. So yeah it is best to stay off of Redemption Island but if you get voted off it is not the end of the world because you could do very well on Redemption Island.
Duels will stay 1 vs 1 for a while until the merge [I'll get to that soon]. The Redemption Island Duel before the merge will allow the winner to rejoin the game!
In the previous TV season Matt won and returned to the game although he was immediately sent back to Redemption so yeah hopefully that person has better luck.
After a predetermined number of people are left, the two tribes will merge and then everything becomes an individual game. Most likely only one person will be immune from getting voted out by winning the now Individual Immunity challenges. Redemption Island will still be active after the merge so if you get voted out you will still have another shot to win the game post merge.
Again after a couple of weeks the final Redemption Island Duel will happen and the winner of that will come back into the game at the final 5!
Post merge Redemption Island Duels will likely be 3 person duels where the top 2 score earners survive while the person who got the worst score will join the Jury.
Information about the Jury:
Basically the Jury is a group of people who have been voted out but will in the end vote for one person they feel deserves to win. This season's Jury could have 9 or 7 people on it.
I'll talk about the Jury a lot more when that part of the game happens..
So yeah that is a lot of information but I hope you all understand it.
I am looking to get 16 new people to my Survivor game [including the people I already have] plus 4 returning people who have played in the 1st and 2nd season but have not won. I have 2 so I only need 2 more.
I will edit this later but I hope that if you are interested you try it out.
New people: [? mark means I sent you a pm a while ago but never got a definitive answer so I have your spot saved for now but I will pm you again soon to see if you want in or out. So that means that there could be more spots then it seems. So this will be edited a lot].
