The people should be okay and the name will be decided by everyone so you can make a suggestion and if people on your team like it it will eventually be the name. Yeah you sound like a good player if you are competitive.
The opinionated part might not work out so well but that would mainly hinder you if this was a real social game where we were seeing each other.
