Rampage is a riot, and Jones definitely comes across as kind of cocky, but it's hard to blame him. I asked a question about whether or not we'd see the females make it to UFC, and Dana said that at this point it is hard to fill out the weight classes, but the heavyweight division was like that before, so you never know. |

I think Jones is a f***ing fantastic fighter....but he has really been rubbing me the wrong way as of late. He seems to have been getting a big head. I am hoping PRIDE Rampage shows up and not HOLLYWOOD Rampage....
...and I hope he knocks Jones the f*** out.

Wow... you got some great photos there!
I like Jones from what I've seen/heard from him... he seems more confident, rather than cocky (to me, anyway). And with his ability, I think he has a right to be slightly big-headed - as long as he doesn't lose focus or take people lightly.
Having said that, I will be pulling for Rampage come fight time. ;D

I completely agree with Rampage. So Jones is allowed to try and get in his opponents heads with his awkward staredown, but Rampage isn't? Things like this show Jones immaturity...he may be a fantastic fighter but the dude has a lot to learn. I am waiting for someone to humble him.

I find Rampage to come off more as a prick than Jones, that being said I like the both of them, but I'm hoping to see Jones build his career by taking out another big name.

Being cocky is fine...
but too many things have been said from him that make me like the guy less and less...
and the whole replica belts thing really showed me a lot about his character.......

I think my only problem with Jones is that you almost always hear (either through him, his camp, or reporters) about how "humble" he is, despite the fact that he randomly acts rather arrogant. That's seriously my main problem with him (and any fighter, for that matter). If you're cocky? Fine, be cocky. If you're humble? Great, be humble. But when people dance the fine line between both, I can't help but be annoyed with them.
Plus is it just me, or did Jones sound like a bit of a dork with that comment about Rampage? I'm not saying he's wrong for being upset with Quinton, but the comment just sounds kind of nerdy to me. He sounds like a scorned suburban father sending a note to his neighbors about their kids knocking over his lawn ornaments or something. "I'm outraged. I'm outraged and now you know."

Sometimes guys can be cocky in a fun way. i dunno how else to describe it. Other times, guys who are cocky come off like a dick. That sort of seems to be the difference between these two. Rampage can be cocky, but it seems fun, like you\'d want to be around him. Jones, not so much.
