I don't know him either, he's pretty unknown 'round here, that's his only decent style if I recall.
Looks great for a first animation, I think if you continue you could get pretty good at this.
Your main problem at the moment is the stiffness of the joints, not bending enough, noticeable in the jump, his knees bend but he doesn't really bend down at the waist.
You have the basic's down though, and probably a right amount of frames.
