Hopefully Arsenal get in the top 4 because after Cardiff drew Blackburn in the quarter finals of the Carling Cup if we beat them we'll be in the Europa League. I thought you had to win the Carling Cup to get into Europe?

Yeah that's what I thought, plus I thought Cardiff (or Swansea, Wrexham etc. etc.) weren't allowed in Europe as they still follow the Welsh FA, that's why they weren't in Europe when they got the FA Cup final....or something :s

Brilliant day for the Premier League in terms of goals and entertainment, the Chelsea/Arsenal game was thoroughly entertaining for what I thought was gonna be a drab football match. Definitely agree with Mike saying v.Persie is one of the best strikers in the world. Terry's slip to let v.Persie in for the 4th goal was hilarious. As for a Mr. Bent, hahahaha you, you money grabbing twat hope you didn't expect that reception, missing a sitter aswell proved to be a bad day for him Shame we couldn't get the 3 points as we should really be beating teams at home. Villa were by far the better team though but relieved when Sessegnon got the 89th min equaliser.

To be honest, I wasn't surprised that we got another draw. We need to sort things out and actually start to win some games..

Was surprised with the results yesterday between Chelsea and Arsenal. As I expected Arsenal lost to Chelsea by 3-1 or something, but we end up 5 - 3 to Chelsea. Well pleased with that.

Quite enjoyed Tottenham v QPR as well, though it was not a patch on Chelsea v Arsenal. Some great goals, though. Been a terrific Premier League weekend.

Did Pompey ever get that high?

Did Pompey ever get that high? Michel Platini said he would've intervened and we would've been in there. Portsmouth slipped down the table when they rested players for the final so we were screwed. Was a shame as they got AC Milan in their group.

Really surprised with the result Newcastle got tonight. Not a very entertaining game, but a great result for them). Two VERY soft penalties, though.

Doesn't look like Howard called it. How's Heitinga meant to know it's Howard behind him, not Leon Best? Either Howard has to call or stay in his goal.

Gutted for Connor Wickham, just as he's starting to show some promise he gets injured (a bad one apparantly).just hope he isn't out for long. Could careless about the result.

really good game between tottenham and fulham. tbh, fulham deserved the points. spurs were pretty dreadful at times.

Just cannot believe that. We deserved so badly to win that game, yet idiotic Tottenham fans will brag about the result, having clearly not watched the game. We were absolutely all over them second half, and could have scored more than enough goals to win the match, but football is a cruel game. Also, how the ref couldn't see Kyle Walker's blatent hand ball during the first goal mouth scramble yet I could see it half way back in the stands is ridiculous.

Sunday December 18th. Book the whole day off, peeps. Triple Bill of football:
QPR v Manchester United - 12:00 Aston Villa - Liverpool - 2:05 Manchester City v Arsenal - 4:10
Pretty killer line-up this weekend, as well.
