Now Vidic is out for the season too. Hopefully we'll buy a new CB in Jan and then once Vidic is back we can get rid of Evans. If we had the money I'd also love a CDM and a CAM, but doubt we can afford more than one decent purchase in Jan.

Even if you can afford anyone.
Anyone got any predictions on signings this Jan?

Good line-up this weekend. Sunderland v Blackburn will either be really boring, or one of those really messy relegation scrap type matches that leaks goals. Stoke v Tottenham should also be good. Tottenham are on incredible form at the moment, but Stoke are (normally) brilliant at home. And it goes without saying Chelsea v Manchester City will be good. Miss the 12:45 kick-off's, though

We played well today, good defensive display but a great Volley from Van Persie. They probably deserved 3 points but we deserved something from the game I felt.
Good to see McAleny come on though.

I haven't cared for footy since I left primary school in June 2004. Last game I remember properly watching in the Premiership was Rooney debuting for Everton Who knew the wee c*nt would become so huge.

Quite a few people probably thought he would be huge. Great volley by Robin Van Persie. Liverpool got that all important win to keep them chasing for the top 4. I really think Tottenham can finish 2nd this season! I laughed at Vorm on MOTD when Clint Dempsey was about to take his penalty especially the commentator on MOTD "and Vorm has somewhat disappeared."

Michel Vorm is comfortably the signing of the season so far and especially for £1.5m, if Swansea go down and I think they probably will Arsenal or even Manchester United need to look at him.

Why does every goalkeeper decide to have a good game at anfield?

Why does every goalkeeper decide to have a good game at anfield? Because your attack isn't clinical enough.

Michel Vorm has been an excellent signing for the JB's this season, he is overworked by their shocking defenders though.

Missed Sunderland v Blackburn due to work, but caught Stoke v Tottenham. An absolute belter of a game.

What will happen: Chelsea Win or Man City Win/Draw?

Brilliant win for us yesterday! The reception O'Neill got from the fans genuinely left a lump in the back of my throat Great, great goals aswell. I think all it needed was a win at home to lift the confidence of the players and now that's happened I hope we can kick start our season now.

What will happen: Chelsea Win or Man City Win/Draw? Think City could sneak the win or atleast a Draw.

I think it'll be 1-1 tonight, should be a good game though.

I think Manchester City will sneak a 2-1 win, though I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if it ended 4-3 or 5-4.

What will happen: Chelsea Win or Man City Win/Draw? City are the better team but you can never count out Chelsea, even if tehy've had a rotten run of form. I don't think they'll win though, probably a draw or a narrow City win.
