Joey Barton makes me ing sick, someone needs to take him out and I don't say that often. Odious little wanker.

Joey Barton makes me ing sick, someone needs to take him out and I don't say that often. Odious little wanker. Just watched the incident a few times over. Song should be off, he stamped on Barton, no debate. Gerviniho should know a slap means a red, he should be off too. Barton should have got a yellow for his stupid conduct, and then a second yellow for diving at the slap. I think you can give 2 yellows at once, but neither was worthy of a straaight red. Barton is a tosser but that doesn't mean everything he does is an instant red.

Someone made the point that when Barton grabbed Gervinho the ball was still in play so technically it should have been a penalty to Arsenal. Gervinho was stupid enough to raise his hands though and Song definately should have been sent off.

Hilarious scenes at St. James Park, Song and Gervinho both should have seen red. I don't blame Barton for picking that cheat up, already learnt how to dive the Arsenal way.

Ref would've probably blew for a dive anyway, so it makes no difference. I'm certainly not condoning what Barton done, but Song should have been sent off well before the Gervinho incident. Gervinho did dive and Barton quite clearly over-reacted. Still no excuse for a slap... or a dive from Barton for that matter. Ridiculous scenes. Anyway, what am I talking about? Barton was just being courteous and helping Gervinho off the ground .

Our first 30 mins were great, dropped off a bit after that. Rooney and Young looked good, although Cleverly and Welback were far less influential than last weekend. Hope Ferdi + Vidic aren't hurt badly. De Gea did poorly with the goal but apart from that was ok. West Brom targeted him in the 2nd half, fair enough, but the ref should've blown a bit earlier when they roughed him up.
Lol at AVB saying Stoke's "pushing and grabbing are out of this world." Welcome to the Prem mate.
Fergie just said that Vidic + Ferdi will be a couple of weeks, worrying if they miss Arsenal + Spurs. Hoping they'll be back for the Arsenal game.

Great win. Still wish we would sign Sneijder though

And I'm still iffy on De Gea. I feel 21 is just too young - especially in the Prem with sky high pressure/scrutiny, we might have been better going for more experience in Neuer/Akinfeev. I'm sure he would grow in time but we haven't had good luck with new GKs, they get scarred.
Cleverley is decent but we still need Sneijder or Nasri(I know City are into him but surely he is more economically easier for us to sign than WS - surely we outposition City based on a trackrec of success and giving playing time too), Cleverley is better back-up than Gibson & Carrick. We look really fresh with the new players getting the chance to play which was pleasant to watch.

Tom Cleverley's pass success today was 90.6%. Anderson's was 93.2%.
Anderson is definitely a lot better playing without Carrick. Ferdinand will be out for about 6 weeks, whereas Vidic will be out for 2.

Hahaha you jack bastards! I predicted 3-1 City so I'm more than happy. My brother said 5-0, he was almost right! Aguero looked in the game from the first minute, he shoulda had a hat trick.

Fun fact, Swansea completed 144 more passes than any other PL club this weekend.

Superb performance today. Solid defensively....Downing and Henderson impressive. But i still aint convinced on Carroll. Arsenal look to be further into trouble. They need to buy or I can see them having a nightmare season

ing hate start of seasons, there never fun. Typical performance of possession with no punch, just hope it's a one off and we can get something going soon or we will be dwindling mid-table again.

Just wondering, how many games is Joey Barton thinking of refereeing this season? ing sick of him up the referees arse every time there's a foul, after a while today I think Bardsley got sick of him as they clashed over a Cattermole/Cabeye challenge, he's a ing arse hole. No surprise at the result either, nothing it seems has changed from last season in terms of marking, making a solid wall and more irritating the backing off from wingers.
