Very nice win, still doesn't look like we've hit top form so very happy with the scoreline. Rooney has scored more goals in the PL than every team apart from Citeh, lol.
Arsenal sound like tehy're still in the sh*te, Spurs look a lot better too. Daglish putting in a formal complaint about refs made me lol.
Big game next weekend (Chelski home), hope we can win but might take a draw. Gonna be a tight one either way, they'll be out for revenge.

I think there is quite a large gap between United/City and Chelsea..
Should be a very good game today, and when did Gary Neville start living in the Sky studio?!?! Also looking forward to hearing Davie Provan on commentary tonigh, hopefully shows a bit more enthusiasm/emotion that Ray/Nev/Smith..

Annoyed with the Fulham result yesterday. We really should have won that game.
No idea how this QPR/Newcastle match is still 0-0.

If Bothroyd was any good, we'd have been at least 3-0 down. Fortunately he couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo last night. SWP threatened down the right wing, which was to be expected after Ryan Taylor was played out of position at LB. Warnock exposed out weakness and it very nearly paid off.
However, I'm still thrilled with our current position. A point away from home is always a good point. Still unbeaten in the league and morale is pretty high, we just didn't show up last night. Gaining a point when you don't deserve one - I'll happily take that.

I thought SWP looked very good for QPR indeed, I think they'll be okay but I do think they put all their eggs in one basket signing Bothroyd and Campbell... Should've waited and brought someone a little better in. Bothroyd wont get into double figures.

I'm assuming this is where we're putting CL discussion? We've been pretty poor sofar, completely void of confidence in the final third. Very little movement, we need Chicharito on. Lucky to be 1-1 at HT, hope Fergie has a go at them. Both goals were class too.
Arsenal game was very dull last night, Arsenal were average and Dortmund were awful at shooting (bar their great goal).

Performance was bettersecond half but 1-1 a fair result. I accept the result but if a team had to win...it should have been us. BTW Cardozo scored every time he played against Premier league teams.

Spent the 18th at the pub watching the football (over pints, of course). Both decent games (United and City). Giggs and Kolarovs goals were good.

I really like Napoli... Could be worth a shout as dark horses to get out of the group.

We need a Champions League/Europa League Thread. United looked pretty meh-ish, suprised Rooney played rather than giving another player a chance. Giggs' goal was class though, I was thinking before then it looks like he'll retire after this season since he's playing a less vital role in United but he might stick around, I'd want him to stay around. Watched Stoke/Birmingham/Fulham matches, Stoke relaied far too much on thier defence but nearly got the win. Birmingham looked bad and prob won't make it past thier group. Fulham looked the best out of the three, looked a constant threat against a good side. Shame they didn't get full points. EDIT: Ohh almost forgot

Worried ahead of Villa this weekend. Always a dodgy place for us to go, especially after us getting relegated there in 08/09. I'd be thrilled with a draw in all honesty.

Thats a ing awesome goal - like Pete said, if Messi scored that we'd never hear the end of it.

What a game that was! Arsenal should have atleast got a point, though. Had lots of fantastic chances near the end. Cracking entertainment, though.
