Such an important win for us. Right when I thought we had hit rock bottom.
Sturridge is outragously good.

Still maintain what I said at the start of the season - Utd and City fighting for the title, Chelsea 3rd a few points behind 2nd and a few more ahead of 4th, with Spurs and Arsenal fighting for 4th, Liverpool 6th. Commentator was saying its such a big goal for Lamps, its only a pen :/ Drogba probably would've scored it too.

Was a pretty good game, a Chelsea win has definitely made things interesting.

Also, don't think the Silva incident was a pen, the Lescott one was one though. Clichy definately deserved both his yellows, lucky not to be sent off 5 mins earlier. Yaya Toure also looked like he could've got a red if the ref had seen him hitting the Chelsea player. Balotelli had gone down in the 2nd min could've been such a different game.

Saw the second half. Good game. Yaya Toure was absolutely horrendous. Worst player on the pitch. Just didn't look interested. Manchester City just played very poorly in the second half in general.

Has been dropped a few times and subbed after an hour a few times so to get the winner in a huge game will not only be a confidence booster for the team but it'll be one for Lampard.

Man City started off well but ended poorly..
I do think Man City will be major contenders in Europe next season.

As if more proof was needed of Petr Cech's loss of form...

2 one sided games on Sky Sports so far. Villla looked awful against Liverpool. Hopefully City/Arsenal is a bit more exciting.

Love/hate days like this, love constant football on TV but so far the games have failed to be brilliant entertainment. Arsena;/City looks like it could really kick off though.

Pleased with our win, should've been at least 4 though, we need to get closer to City's GD. Didn't move from my seat between 11:55 and 6, great day shame the Villa game was a bit of a lull though, and if I wern't a Utd fan most of the QPR game would've been dull, even though they did have a spell on top.

Also, was awesome to see Chicharito back, didn't expect that until at least the New Year. Shame for Berba though, just as he got his chance through injuries he gets crocked and then just as he comes back Hernandez comes back too.

The battle for the top 4 places is really good this year, hopefully it stays this close until the end of the season.

I agree. Think it will end up being us, City and Spurs top 3, with Arsenal and Chelsea fighting for 4th. Can't see Liverpool above 6th tbh, they don't put enough chances away and draw too many games.

Donovan coming back to Everton in January for 2 months is awesome! USA, USA, USA! Great news...gonna kick some much needed fire power into our frontline... Prefer Drenthe to come off the bench rather then starting...works much better...

Think it'd be great if Spurs finished in the top 3, they're always good to watch and for them to have another crack in the Champions League would be great too.

All we need is someone to score and we'd be fine, should start our 2nd half of season form soon.
