Great day of football yesterday. QPR v Manchester United was a good starter, though United should have got 4 or 5. Aston Villa v Liverpool was poor; as soon as Liverpool went 2-0 up in 15 minutes, I could just sense that was the end of the goal scoring. Manchester City v Arsenal was really good though. Lacked goals, but thw quality was up there with the best of the season. Brilliant entertainment.

Thoroughly enjoyed that Blackburn vs Bolton match, proves you don't need 9 or so goals in a game for it to be brilliant nail biting enjoyable match. Kean looks like a broken man now, almost feel sorry for him

Feel sorry for Kean, he just got promoted above his talent, who would say no? He definately needs to go now though. Coyle should probably be sacked too unless he makes this turnaround permenant.

Caught the last 35 or so minutes of the Blackburn v Bolton game. From what I saw, it was fantastic; really end-too-end stuff. Just caught the highlights of Wolves v Norwich, which looked even better.
We've got Manchester United at home tomorrow. We have quite a good record against them at home, but cannot really see us getting anything. Should be close, though. Also really looking forward to Tottenham v Chelsea on Thursday. Should be a cracker.

Not to keen on Kean ... any other club and he would be sacked but with these chicken farmers he will probably get a pay rise and money to sign Kaka.

Much prefer managers like Owan Coyle and Steve Kean to pricks like Dalglish and Ferguson. Atleast they are honest when their team plays poorly (and don't just blame the referee) and are always positive.
That being said, Kean had that look of resignation on his face throughout the game tonight. Feel sorry for him; the Blackburn fans are just idiots. They pay their money just to go to games and boo their manager, even when they win.

I'm a Steve Kean fan, he's brilliant. His team worked their arses off in the second half. Yes he's a bit of a tool, but I think he's not that bad. Given a bitta money I think he could do a job.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT.

I would happily see Kean and Coyle both sacked. Think they are both pricks.

Simply not good enough. Not clinical enough infront of goal. Going to start my moan with Glen Johnson, words cant describe how bad i think he is and tonight he was awfull gave the ball away to often and missed an easy opportunity. Charlie Adam gave his worst Lfc performance yet. Also need to criticise King Kenny about why does he always leave it till about 5 mins to go to bring on Carroll when he has no chance of changing the game.

Sounds like we were far better, hopefully we're beginning to hit top gear. Seen the 5 goals (ESPN Goals app is awesome), Rooney's and Berba's were great. Really hope Berba stays, I still think he has a lot to offer the club.
Watched the Liverpool game, Wigan looked decent. Adam's penalty was sh*te.

Absolutely disgusted with our performance tonight. Could easily have been 7 or 8. Why on earth we still play Senderos is beyond me.
Rooney's goal was absolutely world class, however.

We won!!! we Won!!!!! I'm surprisingly delighted at a 1-0 home win against Swanse ... but hey-ho there a good team and we have a phobia of scoring so great to get any 3 points and hopefully we start to kick into real form now. Drenthe looks a beast of a player.

Steve Kean must go.
Fans are against him, Blackburn cannot get the points. No experience.
Owen Coyle has experience. I think they should give him a bit of cash for January and see how he is doing by the end of January.
Kenny Dalgleish & Alex Ferguson are two of the best managers in the world maybe they complain but I am sure most of you guys would too it is hard at the top level.
Arsenal' boxing day fixture moved back a day. Kind of sucks as the boxing day fixture is a tradition.

Brilliant win last night, proud as being a Sunderland fan. O'Neill has brought in belief between the players and fans and really has shown on the pitch with 3 impressive performances under him.

If Bolton get rid of Coyle it'll be one of the worst things they ever do. Coyle is one of my favourite managers. He's got great man management skills, knows the game very well and comes across as a really decent bloke. He was the best thing since sliced bread when Bolton had an outstanding run last season (Might've been the season before?).
As for us, we've hit a bit of a rough patch which was to be expected at some stage this season. Injuries have affected us and players like Ben Arfa haven't played as well as expected after coming back from injuries. We need to beat Bolton today to bring some confidence into the squad. Especially as we'll be losing Ba and Tiote in January to the African Nations Cup, so we need to learn to cope without them, which is easier said that done when they're two of our most influential players this season.

Top day. We go level with City on points (and reduce the GD deficit to 5 goals), City draw to WBA, Liverpool draw at home to Blackburn, and Chelsea draw at home to Fulham. And my favourite part of all, Berbatov getting a hat trick I still think hes class, don't understand why anyone wants him out. Merry Christmas

Chuffed with the 3 points today. Solid performance from us and Ben Arfa had a very good game. Demba Ba has unbelievable tekkers too!

You stupid arsehole Howard Webb, how he's the senior official in the Premier League baffles me. Embarrasing decision today by him to award Everton the penalty. Admittedly I would of snapped a point before kick off but thoroughly annoyed.
...Liverpool fans want "King" Kenny out yet? Lulz.

If anyone else had their current run of form the fans would be calling for their heads.
