Impact Wrestling's Greatest Acquisition
I am Austin Aries, and I am the greatest professional wrestler in the world today. At Destination X I beat 3 other men to win a contract for Impact Wrestling and I started my climb towards the top of this company. I furthered this goal by picking up a brilliant victory over that punk Shannon Moore on the July 14th edition of Impact Wrestling, now a man, who as many of you may know I have a huge history with, that goes by the name of Alex Shelley decided that he was going to call me out on the tactics that I used in that match. So in response I cost him his shot at the X Division Championship against that drug addict Brian Kendrick. I plan to use this blog to not to give you desperate, disgusting wrestling fans (who feel that they have to know every single detail of a wrestler's personal life) the insight into the great mind of Double A that you crave oh so much, but instead I'll use this blog to chart my rise to the top of Impact Wrestling. And if my mind is as great as I know it is some high powered Hollywood executive will read this and make Double A: The Movie.

I read the title and thought "JESUS, ARN ANDERSON POV!" and consequently almost died of a heart attack. However, an Austin Aries diary should be equally as entertaining. I like his character, something that should be easy to work with and create some interesting angles.
The first entry was a decent opener for this. Some grammatical errors but otherwise fine overall. Let's see if Aries gets to the X Division belt.

Like Chaz said, I originally though Arn Anderson and though... what the hell? But then realized. But then again, like Bock said, isn't it 'A Double'? Either way, Austin Aries is one of the few independent wrestlers I actually know about, so I'll try my best to follow this.

July 29th 2011: Alex Shelley/Impact Wrestling Recap
I can not believe the audacity of Alex Shelley, he's always been jealous of my superior wrestling skills and proved it again tonight when he cost me the chance to become X Division Champion, and I can't believe you disgusting human beings actually cheered for him, if you had any real wrestling knowledge you'd see that I am the most perfectly rounded professional wrestler who have ever graced the ring, Shelley isn't worth of shining my boots.
Anyway just in cased you missed the most must see 20 minutes of wrestling television this week I had a non title match against that pothead, nonsensical, fake guru Brian Kendrick. Throughout the match I had shown why I am the best in the world by putting the man who is carrying the torch for the X Division through a vast array of punishment. At one point I'd even used the combination of my Brainbuster and 450 splash to effectively put Kendrick away and grab myself an X Division Championship shot. That was when everything went wrong, that hypocrite Shelley, who if I remember correctly, called me out on the way I won a match against Shannon Moore, came out and cost me and distracted me which allowed Kendrick to roll me up to get a tainted win. That wasn't even the worst part, he then had the stupidity to challenge me to a match at Hardcore Justice for his number one contendership. Not only did he challenge the great Austin Aries to a match, he was also dumb enough to put his shot at the X Division title on the line. Bad move, Shelley, bad move.
Come Hardcore Justice, I will beat you in the middle of that ring and take another step towards becoming the X Division Champion.

I understand Aries is heel but I don't think he needs to be negative all the time. Your writing was great though and I liked the description of the match in Aries view, everything linked together well. I hope you don't have Aries beat Shelley if I'm honest. I think you could drag it out a little longer. Good entry though, I like A Double's description of Kendrick too |
