Matthew Werner: And now we head to our final two matches of the evening, the two matches that were specifically made by President & CEO King Kraig at "Something's Gotta Give".
Matt Steel: It's a good tune up for EBR and Alex Sean before they clash over the Heavyweight title.
Matthew Werner: No, it's not. Alex Sean has to face Shawn Malakai while EBR faces a man who hasn't wrestled in literally, years.
Matt Steel: Yeah, so EBR has to expect the unexpected. Shawn Malakai wrestles every show, sometimes twice - he's probably a little tired at this point.
Matthew Werner: How can you honestly say this is fair?
Matt Steel: It probably isn't - he's entitled to time off, but at the same time if Malakai wants to put in work it's his right. Bless you, Shawn Malakai.
Matthew Werner: Not what I meant.
Matt Steel: Then I just don't follow you.
The opening lines of "99 Problems" ring out through the soundspeakers eliciting an enormous pop from the audience. The record scratch goes through and, just as the verse kicks in, Sean aggressively charges through the curtain bringing about an even louder ovation than before!
Keri Thames: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. First, from Baltimore, Maryland. He is Alex Sean!
Sean reaches the ring steps and takes a few moments to hop in place at the base. He runs up the steps and onto the apron, then places one foot on the middle turnbuckle from the outside and pulls himself up, resting his other foot on the top turnbuckle just as the chorus kicks in. Sean looks out in the crowd, then, grabbing ahold of the top rope, swings into the ring and moves toward his respective corner for the bout.
Matt Steel: That looks really similar to Alex's Indiana Jones entrance. Hrm...
“Anasasis (Xenophontis)” by Parkway Drive resonates throughout the arena. The lights dim, and smoke fills up the stage. From behind the curtain comes Shawn Malakai, wearing a solid white prayer service cassock. In one hand he has a wooden shepherds staff to lead the lost flock of the WFWF, and in the other he is carrying a metal crucifix attached to a metal rod to show the pain he's endured for his people. From behind the curtain now comes Yukio Blaze, holding Malakai's new WFWF International Championship high in the air for everyone to see.
Keri Thames: And his opponent. From Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is the WFWF International Champion, he is Shawn Malakai!
When they get to the stairs, Malakai and Yukio make a trade. He gives Blaze the cross in exchange for the championship, but he keeps the staff as he gets into the ring. Malakai raises his title in the air, shoves it in Alex's face a little and hands it off to the ref. He derobes down to his wrestling gear, and the ref calls for the bell.
Shawn Malakai and Alex Sean circle the center of the ring, trying to size each other up. Never has Malakai faced such an experienced opponent one on one, and Alex Sean hasn't encountered anyone of Malakai's size since ZMasters days. Good stuff's about to go down. The two men enter a collar and elbow tie up, only for Malakai to ultimately win the exchange, shoving Sean back, almost falling on his ass en route to the corner. He twists his neck, apparently cracking it, trying to shake out the intimidating force King Kraig and EBR have placed before him.
Matthew Werner: This is rather interesting. Alex Sean's the king of mind games, but it would seem that the games Kraig's playing is getting to him more and more. While he's more experienced and well traveled than Malakai, he's clearly distracted.
Matt Steel: No doubt.
Malakai calls for another tie up and Sean reluctantly accepts. They tie up but then Sean drops to his knees and slides around Malakai, pulling the giants legs our from under him, dropping him to the mat face first. Sean takes full advantage and sits himself on Shawn's back and starts driving his elbow furiously into the neck of Malakai, not even giving him the slightest chance for a rolling reversal. Lucky for Malakai he fell in a decent location, and knowing this put his foot up on the rope, forcing the ref to get Sean off of him, but before the big man can get up he drags him to the center of the ring and begins his assault again.
Matthew Werner: Good strategy by Sean. He can outwit and outmaneuver Malakai any day, but he'll never out power him. You take him down, keep him at a level below you, you should be set.
Matt Steel: Look at you acting as if you're talking from experience.
Alex Sean, using the leverage that he has at the moment, locks in a nasty looking sleeper, equipped with legs clinching around Malakai and all. It doesn't last long though. Malakai rolls over onto his back which puts Sean on his back, which is a pin attempt.

Sean releases the hold and gets his left shoulder up barely under the weight being pressed upon his chest. Malakai pulls himself up only to plop himself into the corner while Alex Sean gets to his feet. Sean charges the corner. Malakai slides under the bottom rope, out of the way of a knee or something. Sean doesn't stop the charge though. Instead he climbs the ropes in two steps and leaps off to the outside onto Malakai who, unfortunately for Alex, caught him mid air. The crowd begins to boo Malakai as he smirks an evil smirk. He eyes the barricade like an old enemy and runs at full force in an attempt to end this match early. Sean however snakes his way out of the grip and just before he Kamikaze's into the padded barrier, Malakai gets his arms out to break the force he'll inflict upon himself. While he appears distracted, Sean attempts to take advantage by trying to get the big man over the barricade but once Sean arrives at Malakai, he hoists Sean up above his head and drops him gut first onto the barrier. Sean falls to the floor, the wind knocked out of him and clutching his chest. Malakai picks him up and dumps him into the ring and slides in himself before the ref counts to ten. Malakai pulls Sean to the center of the squared circle, drops a heavy standing elbow and hooks the leg.

Sean kicks out at two! Going after the chest again, Malakai picks Sean up to his feet and delivers a nasty body blow. Sean spins around thanks to Malakai and Malakai lifts Sean up onto his shoulders and starts bending Sean's chest and back in a very awkward way in a modified Argentinean Clutch hold. While refusing to scream out in pain, Alex is clearly in quite a bit of pain, and his face is red from the lack of air from the earlier barrier blow. The ref asks Sean if he would like to surrender, and Sean, barely able to speak does get out a no. Frustrated, Malakai starts to jump in the ring, applying more shock and force onto the hold every jump. Sean is asked again, once more he declines. Even more distraught, Malakai flips Sean over his shoulders onto the ropes, Sean balancing by the laces of his boots, his head under Malakai's arm. Malakai lifts his right leg and gets it onto Sean's back and pushes up on his other one, falling backwards, dropping Sean with a cradle DDT.
Matthew Werner: Youch.
Matt Steel: Shawn Malakai's taking Alex Sean to the brink. I approve.
Instead of going for a cover, Malakai works over Sean's torso a little more. His skin's turned a raw red now from all of the boots, slaps, punches and chops. Up comes Alex by way of Malakai and he's rammed belly first into the corner, the elbows of Malakai driving right into Alex's spine. Finally Malakai wraps his arms around the waist of Alex Sean and falls backward, driving Alex Sean hard into the canvas with a vicious German Suplex that Malakai bridges for a cover.

…
Alex Sean rolls himself out of it.
Matthew Werner: Yet another close call for Alex Sean. He's just not himself tonight.
Matt Steel: Alex Sean's fighting two battles as of right now. He's bound to take some serious damage because of one or the other.
Matthew Werner: Did you just say something intelligent?
Matt Steel: I'm a man that speaks some kinda smart words once and a time.
Matthew Werner: ...nevermind.
Malakai is frustrated as he looks out of the ring at Yukio who's shrugging, not able to think of any words of encouragement for the man who just can't put Alex Sean away.
On the same token, Alex Sean is crumpled up on the other end of the ring, holding his ribs, still not letting out any noise to give Malakai the satisfaction of doing damage, or giving Kraig the satisfaction that he's causing him physical pain even if through a third party. Probably, anyways. Alex Sean barely pulls himself up using the ropes. Yukio points to the standing Sean and Malakai charges for what could be a very violent shoulder tackle. At the very last second though, the possum playing Sean drops and pulls the rope down, Malakai rolling over the top and crashing to the mat below with a loud thud. With Malakai out of the ring, Alex sprawls out, trying to regain his composure and his stamina.
Matthew Werner: If ever the perfect opportunity for Alex, now would be the time to capitalize.
Matt Steel: I don't know how right now will be any different than the savage beating he gave Malakai earlier. He couldn't put Malakai away then, and as much as I hate Malakai, he won't do it now either I don't think. Ales Sean just has too much on his plate, and while maybe not quite on his tier, Malakai's just too strong of an opponent..
Some time passes, as both competitors are beat down pretty bad. Alex is the first one to his feet in the ring, and Malakai returns to his feet and eventually the ring a few moments later. The two men have a staredown, as they've reached a stalemate it would seem. Out of no where Alex delivers a gut kick and gets Shawn Malakai up and over with the Overhead Fisherman's Suplex. The momentum from the drop forces Malakai to roll and due to reflex, he's at his feet, but slumped over the turnbuckle. Ever so inventive, Alex runs at, and raises his knee to the back of Shawn Malakai, drilling him in the spine. Malakai stumbles backwards as Sean runs past the dazed Malakai to the turnbuckle and kicks off of the corner, dropping Malakai with a ridiculously fluid Overcastle-like maneuver. He lays over Malakai, hooking the leg.

Shawn Malakai puts a hand on Alex's shoulder and another one holding his leg as he sits up at two, breaking the count, but having Alex Sean well in hand. He smirks as he rolls backwards, as he did for the first time against Johnny Knight at Super Brawl and is on his knees, now his feet, Alex Sean still in hand. He drops Alex with the back breaker throw away slam combination, Sean almost rolling out of the ring. Malakai starts to get momentum running the ropes.
Matthew Werner: This is it! The 19:15's on its way!
Matt Steel: Alex Sean's actually going to lose to Yukio Blaze's lackey. While I called it, it's still pathetic.
With a full head of steam, Malakai charges from the opposite rope when Alex is back on his feet and raises his boot for the 19:15 but wait! Alex Sean ducks under, drops to his knees and trips the currently one legged big man who bounces rather hard off of the ropes. Alex Sean, seeing his opportunity, rolls Malakai up with a surprise School Boy!

The bell sounds.
Keri Thames: Here is your winner, Alex Sean!
With his music playing Alex Sean stands in the ring victorious as Shawn Malakai rolls to the outside, exchanging a few words, probably of the unpleasant variety, with Yukio Blaze as they walk up the ramp. After receiving dap from the crowd Alex Sean exits, remaining outside of the ring.

Matthew Werner: Alex Sean gets the victory over King Kraig’s handpicked opponent but it doesn’t look like he’s leaving.
Matt Steel: Of course not. He gets to see his cousin compete next. This could be a great family moment. Inspirational ...? We’ll see.
“I Wanna Rock” by Twisted Sister begins to play as Adam Chartbuster shoots out from the back, confidently strutting down to the ring while high-fiving the front row fans. The camera cuts to Alex Sean, watching on silently.
Matt Steel: There he is! One of the pioneers of the XWA, Adam Chartbuster! This could be the moment that changes his career!
Matthew Werner: You’ve got to be kidding me. You know why this was booked. The man isn’t even in shape!
Matt Steel: It’s real disrespectful to be smack talking a man who’s just trying to live his -
Adam Chartbuster enters the ring, huffing and puffing.
Matt Steel: ... Hrm.
The music gradually fades out. Chartbuster approaches the ropes, talking to Sean from the inside. He’s audibly heard telling Sean to not get involved, and how this is his chance.
Matthew Werner: This is ... this is uncomfortable. We all know what’s most likely going to happen.
Matt Steel: Why are you so quick to dismiss him? You know, Rocky Balboa was a huge underdog. That worked favourably for him.
Matthew Werner: That was a movie.
Matt Steel: Fine, then just look at the man this show is named after. UPSETS HAPPEN!
The lights dim.
Can we get much higher
So high oh oh ohh oh oh ohhhh oh
Ohh can we get much higher
So high oh oh ohh oh oh ohhh oh ...Eventually, the beat to “Dark Fantasy” picks up and the familiar voice of Kanye West bellows throughout the arena. EBR emerges from the back, an even louder chorus of boos then normal follows.
Matthew Werner: It’s been well documented about EBR’s positive drug test which leaked earlier this week ... at this point I don’t think any of us can even be remotely surprised.
Taking a quick pause on the stage, EBR looks around nonchalantly before he begins to descend the ramp and head towards the ring, holding the strap of the Heavyweight Title and dragging it along the ground behind him.
Matt Steel: It’s really a non-issue, Matty.
Matthew Werner: How can you say it’s a non-issue!? He
failed a drug test! He should be suspended!
Matt Steel: Why should he be suspended? According to King Kraig he didn’t even do anything wrong. You don’t make the rules just because Alex Sean is your “boy”.
Matthew Werner: It’s not even about Alex Sean, it’s about right and wrong. Regardless what EBR claims to have taken, he took a substance that is banned in the WFWF. Any other man here would have been punished for it, but because it’s EBR, it’s apparently okay?
Matt Steel: Looks like we’re going to have to agree to disagree.
Climbing the steel steps EBR enters through the second and third rope, looking back at his opponent who stretches with the assistance of the ring ropes. The camera cuts to Alex Sean, the animosity visible on his face. EBR hands the Heavyweight Title to the referee, waiting in the corner of the ring.
Matt Steel: Here we go ... will this be the greatest upset in the history of the WFWF!?
Ding! Ding! Ding!
Adam Chartbuster runs at EBR, only to be taken down by a brutal forearm shot to his nose. EBR mounts the XWA pioneer, reigning blow after blow upon his face, EBR never taking his eyes off his opponent.
Matthew Werner: This is absolutely ridiculous.
The Heavyweight Champion drags Chartbuster up to his feet, hooking him by around his waist and dropping him on his head with a BackDrop Driver! He drags the borderline unconscious Chartbuster towards the ropes, placing his head against the bottom turnbuckle pad before he sharply begins to kick him in the face.
Matthew Werner: For God’s sake just ring the bell. Adam Chartbuster has no business even being in the ring!
Matt Steel: No one said Adam Chartbuster wouldn’t have to deal with some adversity...
Again dragging Chartbuster up EBR places him in a Half-Nelson, roughly suplexing him into the turnbuckle pads! After going head first into the corner Chartbuster lays in a broken heap on the mat, the crowd already quieting down to silence.
Alex Sean watches from the outside, simply staring at EBR who pays him no mind whatsoever and continues to put in work. He stands over the face down Chartbuster, lifting him up by his head and unleashing a devastating barrage of cross-faced punches. The force of the hits become apparent as Adam’s face begins to bruise.
Matt Steel: ... You know, in hindsight, this is really going the one-sided way I think everyone anticipated -
Matthew Werner: Really!? You’re surprised by this?
Matt Steel: I’m a hopeful optimistic. It’s nothing to yell at me for.
Simplistically lifting Chartbuster’s battered body off the canvas EBR holds him in the air for several seconds, only to flip him onto his head, spiking it into the canvas ruthlessly!
Matt Steel: ... Yeah ‘kay, I think this is over now.
Matthew Werner: He’s trying to cripple him! Just stop the match already! Whatever point this is was supposed to make was made.
With presumably Adam Chartbuster’s earlier words the only reason why he hasn’t intervened Alex Sean continues to watch expressionlessly on the outside. EBR brings himself up, pacing around the ring as he waits for Chartbuster to do the same. Though of course, Chartbuster can’t. He’s unconscious. Tired of waiting for something that won’t come for a rather long time, EBR brings Chartbuster up effortlessly, though forced to lean the man into the ring ropes to prevent him from simply falling back down. EBR steps back to the opposite end of the ring. He jerks off his elbow pad, his eyes squarely on Alex Sean as he chucks it into the crowd.
Matthew Werner: This is ... unnecessary, wrong, pathetic ... there’s a million words to describe this.
Finally breaking from Sean EBR charges at Chartbuster, blasting him in the back of the head with his right arm! He keeps his arm hooked around Chartbuster’s head, brutally wrenching down and torquing Chartbuster’s neck as he drives him into the canvas! The George Atkinson Lariat is officially back.
Matthew Werner: God dammit! Just stop it already! C’mon, man ...
Sitting on the canvas EBR continues to look at Alex Sean who stares back at him, though occasionally focusing his attention on his comatose cousin. The referee finally begins to do his job, crouching down and checking on Chartbuster. He gets no response, immediately calling for the ball.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
The referee makes the signal to the back, and at once the EMTs descend down the ramp with a stretcher.
Matthew Werner: I can’t believe it ... of all of the disgusting acts we’ve seen from EBR this has to take the cake ... we all just witnessed felonious assault!
With the crowd in a hushed silence EBR casually exits the ring and grabs his Heavyweight Title while Alex Sean rolls in, checking on the condition of his cousin to be expected. While Sean makes glances at EBR, the Heavyweight Champion barks at Sean from outside the ring.
EBR: You wanted malicious E ... you got malicious E.
Matthew Werner: God dammit ... EBR and Kraig just went too God damn far!
Matt Steel: Look man, I don’t like seeing this any more then you do ... but let’s be fair, Chartbuster wrestled this match willingly. He told Alex Sean to not stop it at any point.
Matthew Werner: But this match never should have been made in the first place. It was obvious what they were doing from the get-go. They can claim they created it to give Adam Chartbuster an “opportunity” but that’s a lie and everyone knew it. The last time we saw EBR wrestle he beat DGX into unconsciousness. You really think Adam Chartbuster stood a realistic chance? They’re going after Alex’s family!
The EMTs buckle Chartbuster onto the backboard, EBR continuing to yell at Sean from the outside the ring as security try pull at him, trying to get him to leave.
EBR: You thought you could
[expletive] with me!? Huh? Keep poking the bear this is the
[expletive] you get! C’mon man what’d you think was gonna happen? Use your
[expletive]ing head! Use your head! Look at ‘ya! Ya scared now!
The security attempts to reason with EBR, apparently succeeding as EBR furthers away from the ring, only turning back one last time.
EBR: That’s what I do ... I put people in body bags. You used to know that.
EBR turns away from the ring, ascending up the ramp just as the EMTs are able to get Chartbuster onto the stretcher. The crowd give a supportive clap to the former XWA wrestler, but receive no thumbs up or movement. Alex Sean looks at Chartbuster, again no expression on his face. With that, the show ends on this somber note.
