It was weird not seeing the black & yellow.
They need matching gear or something. This is probably not the most popular opinion, but I think they are a really good tag-team.
Them still being Nexus made no sense, so I'm glad it's over with.

Amen to that! I agree, the Nexus really went downhill but I'm still a loyal fan and I'm very disappointed to see one of the few things that actually got me really excited about wrestling just disappear like that. I remember last year when they debuted, attacked John Cena and tore the place up everybody was all excited and thought it was the greatest thing. Now everybody's happy and thanking God that it's dead. How depressing... |

Orton taking out the entire Nexus, much like Cena did about 2 MONTHS PRIOR, was just about their final moment. These past few months have made that 'N' look like nothing more than a reminder of what could have been that was being lugged around.
I almost believe they were letting it wither away in public to get rid of the last stocks of hats and sweatpants, It was just kind of painful to see them with a hand-me down theme that did not fit whatsoever with Nexus trons flashing everywhere.

I was pretty surprised to see them finally, yet suddenly, drop the whole thing. I still think it's pathetically sad what became of the Nexus. The ball was dropped pretty early on with them and it only got worse once Barrett was removed. It's bittersweet. While I'm so glad to see it finally done with (something that needed to be done a long time ago--I still don't get why they didn't end it with Orton and Punk's WrestleMania angle), I can't help but find it a shame to see something that had so much potential just fizzle out and slowly die away like it did.
