Hello! New to collecting Mattel figures. In fact, I don't even own a single one. Looking to FINALLY do some shopping today and begin a brand new collection. I'm really more interested in the Legends/Elite line of figures and like their body styles with the added mobility. My question is what type of body style do the Entrance Greats and Defining Moments figures have? Is it the Elite body style or basic? Thank you! Sorry for the rookie question.

Ok thanks for the reply. I'll appreciate it. I plan on hitting up Toys 'R Us for Legends, Target for Legends on sale and Wal*Mart for a Elite CM Punk I've been looking at for about a week now. I hit the jackpot at Toys 'R Us last week and found Macho Man, Bulldog, Pillman, Bigelow and more but didn't purchase. I wanted to be 100% sure I was going to re-start my collection that began in 1996. The more I attend this board again the more I really want to start a new collection. I'll post pics of my findings and new collection later if anybody is interested. Thanks again for the help!

EG are basic, and DM are elite. Go to Target, they have the legends on sale for 3.74, and the EG and DM are only 5 bucks. That would get you started for pretty cheap if u have a Target near you.

If you're looking for Elite 6 Punk try out Family Dollar, I've seen Elite 6 there before. Save yourself some money.

Although the Entrance Greats are basic, since they're mostly covered up with fabric clothing, at least they don't stick out like a sore thumb when you display them.

EG looks great moc even if it's in basic form. Do you collect moc or loose?

Thanks for your help everybody. Picked up some great figures today. Will post pics ASAP! I collect loose btw because they're much easier to display and even at 23 years old I like to fool around and "play" with them sometimes if I'm bored.
