I was off today so I took my wifey shopping today. We went to the brickyard mall in Chicago. Back in the day the brickyard was a really nice mall, it was an indoor style mall.
(An indoor mall is basically one giant building with lots of stores in it, think dawn of the dead. In the winter they are warm and in the summer they are cool thanks to climate control.)
Sadly though a few years ago they tore down the mall and rebuilt it as a lousy outdoor style mall. I Hate outdoor malls so much, in the winter they are cold as can be, snow everywhere, you get salt on your shoes and clothes going from store to store. And in the summer they are so hot, no matter what, you are going to sweat going from store to store. Not to mention no matter what store you go to every parking spot in front of the store is reserved for handicapped people, which is fine, but at an indoor mall you have better chances of parking close to an entrance.
(An outdoor mall pretty much just a bunch of small buildings scattered through out a parking lot. Think of any walmart, pretty much one store with lots of smaller stores all around it.)
What kind of mall do you prefer?

I personally go to indoor malls, but I don't mind outdoor ones.

Indoor for me.
I usually only buy clothes/shoes at my malls.

As long as any mall in question has a Hot Dog on a Stick, its cool with me.

I prefer indoor. It just seems like out door malls are really spread out and its more walking and bigger set up for the same stores as an indoor. I don't mind the walking but indoor seems condensed for easier access to stores.

Indoor, because it's cold as here like 6 months of the year.

I've never seen an outdoor mall before, or at the least recognized it being one. anyways I pick indoor.

After working in the mall for 4 years, I kind of hate all malls now. I'll go every once in while (not to the mall I work at unless I'm working) but only if I need something or if my girlfriend wants to go. Most of the time, there are 3-5 stores tops I would actually want to go in anyway.

I like outdoor malls better in the summer and indoor malls better in the winter. where i am it gets to the perfect temperatures, so its not unbearably hot in the summer at outdoor malls.
