Saturday August 6th Early August 6th Spike TV and Impact Wrestling had a short notice press release stating that Spike TV would be placing a large investment into Impact Wrestling in order to take over the ownership of Impact Wrestling from the Carter family. Dixie Carter remains to hold a small amount of shares in the company but her role on television as "head" of TNA is still in question. Spike TV and Impact Wrestling Executives will meet hours prior to Sunday's Hardcore Justice Pay Per View to finalize the deal. Their plan is to keep this all behind the scenes and not make it into a new story line.

Ken Anderson defeated Bully Ray with a Mic Check, getting a pinfall at 9:03.
After the match Bully Ray raised Anderson's hand, a disgusted Anderson yanked his arm from Bully Ray and left up the ramp as Bully Ray stood in the ring with a smile on his face. Fortune defeated immortal with an Angel's Wings on Gunner, giving Christopher Daniels a pinfall at 13:42.
Looking to outshine Style's Styles Clash on Gunner, Christopher Daniels pushed AJ out of the way hitting an Angel's Wings on Gunner and stole the pin from Styles. Daniels didn't stay to celebrate, he left the ring as Kazarian and Styles had their arms raised. Rob Van Dam defeated Crimson with a Five-Star Frog Splash, getting a pinfall at 10:21.
After bumping into the ref during a "Red Sky" Crimson attempted to pin Van Dam. With no reaction from the ref, Samoa Joe rushed the ring laying Crimson out with a Muscle Buster. Without Van Dam or the ref seeing Joe, Van Dam climbed the turnbuckle and hit a Five-Star Frog Splash to get the win. Winter defeated Mickie James with a roll-up, getting a pinfall at 7:44.
The conclusion of the match saw Velvet Sky come to the ring and distract Mickie James, costing her the match and TNA Knockouts Championship. Alex Shelley defeated Brian Kendrick and Austin Aries with a Slice Bread on Austin Aries, getting a pinfall at 14:52.
Austin Aries hit Brian Kendrick with a brainbuster and left the ring to get a chair to take Shelley out of the match with. As Aries was getting back in the ring with a chair, the referee grabbed the chair from behind Aries and walked to the other side of the ring to throw it to the floor. With the referee getting distracted, Low-Ki came in from the crowd and clocked Aries in the head with a big kick, then fled the ring. Shelley hit Aries with the sliced bread and got the pin, becoming the new TNA X-Division Champion. D'Angelo Dinero defeated Devon with a Dinero Express, getting a pinfall at 8:36.
Devon was distracted through the entire match as his wife and kids got a "Let's Go Pope" chant going from start to finish. After his win, Dinero went into the crowd and celebrated with Devon's family. Beer Money defeated Mexican America, getting a pinfall at 9:58.
After dominating the match, Hernandez tagged Anarquia into the match, only to get roughed up for the remainder of the match by Beer Money. Anarquia attempted to make a tag, but Hernandez refused, letting Beer Money to hit the DWI and get the pin. Kurt Angle defeated Sting via Ankle-lock, getting a submission at 12:47.
At different points in the match each member of Immortal came to the ring to interfere, but Angle and Sting worked together to lay them out. Sting seemed to injure his ankle during one of the attacks, Angle was able to get Sting into the Ankle-lock, making him submit. Sting and Angle shook hands as the PPV came to an end.

TNA Hardcore Justice: Sunday 7th August 2011...Mr Anderson beating Bully Ray was the best way to go, I hope that Ray isn't planning a face turn though; he's too good being the Tri-State jackass. Fortune and Immortal went on a little earlier than I expected. Seemed decent, Daniels not staying to celebrate with Fortune was an odd call. He has had more fallouts with AJ Styles and the Originals than I can count. Rob Van Dam beating Crimson I am so happy to see; I just don't think TNA would have Crimson lose and end his streak though. Which sucks, because I hate Crimson. Winter winning the TNA Womens Knockout Championship is acceptable I guess, Mickie James' reign has been as good as possible. Alex Shelley winning the TNA X-Division Championship...eurgh. Would have rather Brian Kendrick retained, he's really been gaining the fans' attention in recent weeks. Also hope Austin Aries gets in Shelley's way in upcoming weeks. Don't push Low-Ki over Aries. D-Angelo Dinero and Devon went on a little too late in the card; I did like the buildup to this one. Dinero has more potential than Devon. And now Samoa Joe is the only wrestler in the Bound For Glory Series with '0' points. Change that when you reach iMPACT, it irritates me. Beer Money Inc beating Mexicana America is best, I hate Hernandez and Anarquia. And lastly, Kurt Angle beating Sting I disliked. The match was a little too short for my liking. Also, Sting only won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship three weeks ago. This is hotshotting the title. The clean finish was also unpredicted as well, expected Immortal or Hulk Hogan to get involved. Not a bad starter base to the diary, just several things I'm not a fan of.

I find TNA awful in real life, but I'm going to give this a shot and see if you can change me with a diary if that makes sense. AKA don't do the stupid crapthey really do lol. Love Crimson losing, love Gunner taking the fall, love Alex Shelley as X-Division champ (can lead to something good when Sabin returns) and love that Angle won, and I don't think it was too short, as I wouldn't expect them to go longer, but I feel other matches could of gone a bit longer. Also, love your graphic at the beginning, so clean and original. Liking the start of this a lot!
