Love that you've done something different and changed the results of your start-off PPV, a complete different spin on things. I expect Hardy to be pushed to the moon and back if he doesn't leave (and I hope he doesn't), but then again I liked that him leaving shot Punk up as well. So many faces in ECW that never reached their potential like Burchill too, going to be interesting to see what happens from here.

Monday, 24th August 2009: Las Vegas, NevadaA Video Package plays highlighting the events which occurred at SummerSlam concerning the Superstars of RAW, the main focus, however, was Randy Orton retaining the WWE Championship against John Cena. Michael Cole and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler welcome us to WWE Monday Night RAW, coming to us live this week from Las Vegas, Nevada. They hype the guest host for tonight, Floyd ‘Money Mayweather. John Cena’s music hits to open the show to an ovation from the crowd. John makes his way down to the ring. Cena cuts right to the chase and says he feels cheated out of the WWE Championship. John asks us to watch his evidence. Cena shows a screencap of Orton blatantly placing his feet on the top rope for leverage during his winning pinfall. John says that he feels that himself and the fans have been cheated out of a championship match which they both deserves and he thinks a rematch is justifiable. Randy Orton, the current WWE Champion, wanders down to the ring. Orton says so what if he had his feet on the ropes during the pinfall, it just proves that once again he outsmarted Cena and retained the championship. John Cena says that it doesn’t prove that Orton is smarter; it just proves that he’s less worthy of being champion. Randy asks what a worthy champion is then, is it really someone who isn’t prepared to do whatever it takes to keep their championship. John replies with the fact that he thinks everything Orton is saying it to cover up that he needed to bend the rules to retain his championship. Cena goes to continue but Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather’s music hits and the guest host of RAW for tonight walks down to the ring. Floyd tells the two of them that John Cena’s rematch and anything to do with the WWE Championship is out of his hands and that he was told the situation will be addressed next week. Mayweather said that the reason he’s out here is to tell both Cena and Orton to stop worrying about the WWE Title for just tonight, because they’re both in competition tonight and on top of that they will be picking eachothers opponents and they haven’t got long to do that so they better get on it. COMMERCIAL United States Champion Kofi Kingston and Divas Champion Mickie James are backstage for their Mixed Tag Team Match coming up shortly. Their opponents, The Miz and Alicia Fox approach them. Miz says that they both better cling tight to their precious championships because after tonight himself and Alicia will prove that they are the rightful contenders and it’ll just be a matter of time before their status as Challengers will turn into a status of ‘Champion’. The duo walk off as Kingston says ‘we’ll see about that’. We then go to the ring. WWE Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho and Big Show def. Shad and JTG in a non-title matchA non-title re-match from SummerSlam last night where Jericho and Big Show successfully retained their Tag Team Titles. Tonight was no different in results as Big Show blind tagged himself in as Shad lifted up Jericho for a Military Press Slam and The World’s Largest Athlete pinned Gaspard after a Knockout Punch. Chris Jericho grabs a microphone after the match, stating that they just once again proved that they are the greatest tag team in history and that there will never, ever, ever, been anyone who can even touch them. Jericho says that if there is any tag team that thinks they can match them, then he’s officially challenging them so he can prove them wrong. Chris and Big Show wait a few moments before Jericho passes Show the microphone and the Worlds Largest Athlete tells us that this is evidence that there is not a single tag team willingly to step in the ring with them because they know for a fact that they will be bea…Floyd Mayweather’s music hits, as you can see Show’s expression change to pure anger. Floyd tells Show that he hasn’t seen him in a while, infact the last time he saw Show was at WrestleMania 24, when he was laying over him as the referee counted to three. Big Show demands to know what Floyd is out here for and that he should cut the crap. Floyd continues on to tell Chris and Big Show that he’s found a couple of guys that have agreed to challenge them for the Tag Team Championships, Floyd says that JeriShow might know them and that they’re actually here tonight. ‘Are you Ready?’ plays through the loudspeakers as the crowd go wild. Shawn Michaels and Triple H appear at the top of the entrance ramp. After a pause, the two begin to walk down the entrance ramp, and eventually start running before they slide quickly into the ring. The Tag Team Champions flee through the crowd with their titles, to avoid any trouble. Triple H takes the microphone off the canvas and says that it looks like there is a tag team who’re willingly to step into the ring with them but then Triple H questions if the Champions are willingly to step into the ring with them. The Game says that it doesn’t really matter either way because they officially accept Jericho’s challenge. Hunter passes the mic to HBK who continues to say that if they’re not down with that then they’ve got two words for ‘em. The WWE Universe scream ‘Suck It’ as we head to a commercial. COMMERCIAL The Miz and Alicia Fox def. United States Champion Kofi Kingston and Divas Champion Mickie JamesA Fairly good mixed tag team match featuring the United States and Divas Champions and the people hoping to become contenders to those championships. All four competitors found themselves having a decent length of time in the ring, the men taking up more. In the end, the Divas were the legal competitors and Miz wandered over to Kingston, pulling him off the apron, which distracted Mickie and allowed Alicia to roll her up for the three. Fox stood tall in the ring as Miz and Kingston continued to fight outside. Kofi had the advantage until Miz wandered over to the United States Championship Belt, lifting it up and hammering Kofi over the head with it. Miz then proceeded to hit the Skull Crushing Finale on Kingston and hold the United States Championship over his head. Randy Orton is shown backstage with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, his fellow members of Legacy. Orton tells Rhodes and DiBiase that one of them are going to be facing Cena tonight, since he can’t trust anyone else with that duty. DiBiase isn’t too happy, saying that it was only 24 hours ago that they had to face Triple H and Shawn Michaels and now one of them have to face Cena? Rhodes calms Ted down and says that it’s okay and that he’ll face Cena. Orton looks at Cody and tells him ‘no’. Randy then goes onto say that he just made his decision and Ted DiBiase will be facing John Cena tonight. Orton leaves and Ted is furious. COMMERCIAL Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather is backstage, with the Bella Twins, who were both dressed as Las Vegas Showgirls, watching the show. Chavo Guerrero storms in. Chavo says he wants his hands on that midget son of the devil, Hornswoggle tonight. Floyd says that it has already been arranged; infact Hornswoggle’s friend came in earlier and asked on his behalf. Chavo seems alright with this and is about to leave when Mayweather notifies him of one last thing. Chavo needs to find a tag team partner because Hornswoggle’s friend requested a tag team match and he granted it. WWE Champion Randy Orton w/Cody Rhodes def. Evan BourneThe fans live in Las Vegas, Nevada were excited to see Evan Bourne as Cena’s chosen poison. A win here for Bourne would be huge against the reigning WWE Champion and would give him the break he needs. However, Bourne’s high flying backfired as Orton countered a Shoot Star Press, getting to his feet and catching Bourne for a scoop powerslam. Orton stood up Bourne to nail an RKO and seal his victory. Randy Orton walks back up the ramp with Cody Rhodes, pleased with his win over Cena’s poison for tonight. The announcers hype tonight’s main event which see’s John Cena facing Ted DiBiase in singles action. COMMERCIAL Triple H and Shawn Michaels are backstage with Todd Grisham. Grisham says that for years the two of them have shown seemingly little interest in the tag team championships, why now have they decided to chase the titles? Shawn says that for years they’ve been fighting good and evil, fighting for personal reasons, and fighting against companies. Now that they disposed of their latest problem, Legacy, it’s all gone. No more envious third generation superstars, no more cheerleaders, no more personal vendettas, no inter-promotion wars. They thought it was time to do something new and through all the things that they have done, the accomplishments that they have won, they have never been tag team champions together and some time soon seems like a perfect time to check that off their list. The crowd pop as we head to the ring. Jack Swagger def. MVPAnother rematch from SummerSlam last night where MVP defeated the All-American American live on Pay-Per-View. Swagger was looking to redeem himself here and see MVP come up short. Swagger’s goals became reality and he gained a three count after connecting with the Gutwrench Powerbomb on Montel Vontavious Porter. COMMERCIAL We return from the break to hear the announcement that Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz has been made for the United States Championship at Unforgiven. Lawler and Cole continue to hype the main event as we head back to the ring. Hornswoggle and Mark Henry def. Chavo Guerrero and Carlito in a Tag Team Boxing MatchA Match made earlier by our Guest Host for tonight with a little flavour added to it in the form of Boxing Gloves. The match didn’t last very long and in the end Chavo became irritated with Hornswoggle, running him straight into Henry who delivered a hard punch to the side of the head, sending Guerrero to the canvas and winning his team the match. Hornswoggle and Mark Henry wandered back up the ramp as Chavo was left in the ring, once again, embarrassed and furious. Todd Grisham is backstage with John Cena and asks him his thoughts on his upcoming main event against Legacy member Ted DiBiase. Cena says that he’s excited, he’s excited to prove another reason why he deserves a rematch for the WWE Championship. Cena says that, he’s also excited because he knows DiBiase has some built up anger, he didn’t want this match, tonight he wasn’t prepared and now he’s going to unleash it on Cena. Cena says it’s simple, when the night is out there will be no question of who should be number one contender to the WWE Championship. COMMERCIAL John Cena def. Ted DiBiase w/Cody Rhodes via DQA good main event which lasted longer than expected. Though Cena had the majority of the offense later in the match, DiBiase controlled the early stages. Cody Rhodes provided a distraction at ringside, trying to help Ted but Rhodes was quickly thrown out by the referee, making the match even. Cena connected with his regular combination of moves towards the end of the match, except for when DiBiase countered the Attitude Adjustment, locking in the Million Dollar Dream which Cena eventually found a way out of. The finish saw Cena reverse a Dream Street attempt, hoisting up DiBiase for the Attitude Adjustment. Cena began to throw DiBiase over his shoulders when Orton slipped into the ring, delivering the RKO for a disqualification. The crowd unleashed heat on Randy as he smirked, Orton went to the outside, grabbing a microphone and a chair. Orton laid the WWE Championship on the canvas, sat on the chair and began to speak. Randy says that Cena talks a lot about getting his rematch, a lot about gaining contendership. Well what happens when he does get the rematch, Orton questions. Orton answers, saying it’ll be the same thing that always happens and no matter how the ending goes, whether he drops John with an RKO, decapitates him with a punt or takes a more strategical approach. Randy smirks. He will always come out WWE Champion Cena begins to get to his feet. Orton drops the microphone and kicks the chair away picking up the WWE Championship. Randy floors Cena with the belt before he leaves to end the show.

Monday Night Raw; Pick Your Posion is always good during a heated feud, so I like that. A good non-title victory over Cryme Tyme once again for JeriShow. I like that D-Generation X will be competing for the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships, but surely their feud with The Legacy doesn't just end here? Not fond of two tag team matches in a row, even if one of them is mixed. The Miz and Alicia Fox going over was a shock, but it was a good move. Obvious victory for Randy Orton over Evan Bourne. A good rematch between Jack Swagger and MVP, this time with Swagger going over. I'm not sure why Swagger versus MVP was on the SummerSlam card anyway, it always confused me. Classic Hornswoggle and Chavo Guerrero contest, nothing new. A disqualification finish was a good move to make, and I like Orton's post match promo. A good way to end the show.

Tuesday, August 25th 2009: Phoenix, Arizona William Regal’s music hits and he comes down to the ring without Vladimir Kozlov and Ezekiel Jackson of the Ruthless Rountable, alone. Regal says that we might be wondering why he is without his acquaintances here tonight and William says that right now he doesn’t feel that they deserve to stand next to him at this moment in time. Regal states that if Zeke’s and Kozlov’s brawl did not distract him he would be standing out here right now with a belt around his waist. Regal says that he believes that he has rightful contendership to the ECW Championship. Tiffany, the ECW General Manager, makes her way out to the stage. Tiffany says that while Regal has somewhat of a reason to ask for a re-match, he still lost. However, she will give him a chance to earn one tonight. Regal will team with one other member of the Roundtable tonight to face Christian and Tommy Dreamer tonight in the main event. However, to get the rematch Regal must be the one to gain the pinfall or submission, if his partner gets the win then whoever that may be will be getting a championship match. The crowd seemed pumped as William Regal and Tiffany head to the back. A Promotional Package for WWE Unforgiven airs; it’s scheduled for the 13th September in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. We return to see Goldust making his way to the ring for the upcoming singles match. COMMERCIAL Goldust vs. Sheamus never got started. This rivalry between veteran Goldust and new-comer Sheamus was at boiling point. Sheamus’ music hit but no one appeared through the entrance. Instead Sheamus attacked Goldust behind with a chair, eventually connecting with the Irish Curse onto the chair. Sheamus grasped a microphone and told us that he didn’t want to face this fella in a singles match anymore, he wanted him next week, one on one with no disqualifications. Sheamus continues to say that it doesn’t matter if Goldust doesn’t accept that match either because if he doesn’t, he’ll hunt him down with the same chair he battered him with tonight. Sheamus then leaves, with the chair in hand. Courtney Taylor is backstage with ECW Champion, Christian asking his thoughts on the upcoming Tag Team Match tonight. Christian says that it’s interesting that Tiffany didn’t state what happens if neither of them win because the odds are, whoever Regal chooses will want the title shot for himself, meaning the two of them will end up fighting and himself and Dreamer will become victorious. Christian says honestly, he wants one of the other roundtable members to win so he can add another person to his tally of title defences and prove even further why he is ECW Champion. COMMERCIAL Surprisingly Curt Hawkins’ music hits and he makes his way out in a T-Shirt and Jeans. Hawkins says that people may be wondering what he’s doing on ECW as he’s a SmackDown superstar. Well, he is here to introduce the next Legendary Tag Team, Trent Barreta and Caylen Croft! Two men with long black hair make their way out to the stage, they’re very energetic. Trent Barreta and Caylen Croft def. Bobby Shields and Tyler HiltonBarreta and Croft faced a fairly straight forward debut against locals Bobby Shield and Tyler Hilton. This match was kept pretty short, just enough time to let Croft and Barreta reveal some of their skills and in the end an Inverted Atomic Drop/Busaiko Knee Strike combination put their opponents away. Yoshi Tatsu is sitting alone backstage when Shelton Benjamin approaches him, sitting down next to him. Benjamin says he needs to talk to Yoshi. Benjamin tells Tatsu that he needs to find himself, lately he just doesn’t know what he should be doing, he hasn’t been taking things seriously. Shelton says that he could’ve been World Champion by now if he was focusing, he’s been here long enough. Shelton says he just needs to try things out and see what’s best for him. Shelton stands up, and thanks Yoshi for the conversation before leaving as Tatsu sits alone, looking confused as he hasn’t said a word the whole segment. COMMERCIAL Abraham Washington is backstage. Washington greeted the Ladies and Gentleman here tonight, pretending he was being applauded. Abe says that no one should sweat it or worry that the Abraham Washington Show has been cancelled because it’s returning next week, here on ECW! The Hurricane def. Zack RyderA Great Match to warm us up for the upcoming main event. Both men were looking for a win tonight to possibly boost them up towards the ECW Title territory. Zack Ryder continued to get near falls throughout the match and after Hurricane put his foot on the rope after a Rough Ryder, Zack lost his cool, yelling at the referee. Hurricane took this time to hit a chop block to the back of Zack’s knee and connect with the Shining Wizard for the victory. Ryder was deeply disappointed with his victory. Hurricane celebrated up the ramp, with the fans when from the back came Paul Burchill who downed Hurricane with a big boot. Hurricane was repeatedly stomped on before Burchill stopped and though, crouching down to Hurricane’s face and ripping his mask off! Hurricane quickly covered his face with his waistcoat as he lay on the floor. Hurt. COMMERCIAL William Regal and Ezekiel Jackson def. ECW Champion Christian and Tommy DreamerA Great main event to close out the show with highly important stipulations. Regal chose Jackson for the tag team match, seemingly trusting him more than Kozlov. Christian and Dreamer got along well as per usual. Jackson did most of the work for his team in the match against both Dreamer and the ECW Champion. Christian almost finished Jackson with a springboard DDT but Regal broke up the pinfall. The finish saw a similar situation however this time, as Jackson set up for his finisher Regal blind tagged himself in. Jackson nailed the Uranage Slam on Dreamer. The referee told Zeke to get out of the ring and William Regal covered Tommy for the victory. After the match Jackson got right up in Regal’s face, William began to yell at Jackson. This infuriated Ezekiel and Jackson pushed him backwards straight into the arms of Christian who turned it straight into a Killswitch. Vladimir Kozlov pulled Regal from the ring. Christian offered Jackson a handshake, Ezekiel ignored it though, heading straight to the back to end the show.

WWE RAW: Monday 24th August 2009...You said 'July' on both the show header and the thread name, rather than August. Acceptable promo to kick off the show, John Cena and Randy Orton's rematch is pretty inevitable, really. Glad to see you still using the Guest General Manager of RAW idea, Floyd Mayweather's solved it. Don't get why Mayweather didn't decide to settle the WWE Championship picture tonight rather than waiting until next week. Chris Jericho and the Big Show beating Cryme Tyme was a good match, best decision for Jerishow to get the win. Fair opening contest, but Mayweather appearing again after the match was overkill. Should have been done later in the show. Hopefully DX don't claim the WWE Unified Tag Team Championships. The Miz and Alicia Fox facing Kofi Kingston and Mickie James was a decent match, should have definitely opened the show in the ring. Evan Bourne had a great effort, and good opportunity you gave Bourne. Best for Orton to win though, as WWE Champion. Jack Swagger beating Montel Vontavious Porter was the right call, good rematch from SummerSlam; two rematches from last night's SummerSlam on the same show is a little overkill, though. Hornswoggle and Mark Henry beating Chavo Guerrero and Carlito would have been comedic, I guess. Boxing? Right stipulation used. John Cena beating Ted Dibiase; weak main event. I feel it was a fair show, with some progress towards Unforgiven (there was nothing wrong with the name 'Breaking Point' to be fair). I feel more could have been done; more divas, some more storyline progression, wish that DX had done more than just an appearance and then an interview, and various other things. I assume Jeff Hardy is staying around, good call. You got the date wrong on the Unforgiven poster by the way.

Tuesday Night ECW; Interesting opening segment with William Regal wanting a rematch for the ECW Championship. I like the sound of the Tag Team Main Event, and I suspect Regal will get the fall and earn his rematch. I like Sheamus attacking Goldust before the match, and issuing a challenge. I'd like to see him in the ECW Championship hunt after Unforgiven. A good victory for The Dudebusters, and I like that you have teamed them with Curt Hawkins here. Good to see The Hurricane over Zack Ryder, and I like Paul Burchill ripping off his mask. The Hurricane/Burchill feud was interesting in real life, just don't drag it out longer than it needs to be. As expected, Regal steals the victory from Ezekiel Jackson. I love that you teased a face turn for Jackson, but turned it down last minute when he didn't take the hand of Christian. Jackson becoming somewhat of a lone ranger, perhaps? I like it. A good show.

ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 25th August 2009...Decent promo to kick off the show, nice discussion between William Regal and Tiffany. Give Regal an ECW Championship reign. He would benefit so well, dominating ECW with the Ruthless Roundtable. Good choice to continue Sheamus and Goldust's feud, looking forward to their blow-off match, but avoid making it happen at Unforgiven or pay-per-view. Looking forward to next week's no disqualification match. Curt Hawkins with Caylen Croft and Trent Barreta; making their debuts is pretty interesting and I don't think I've seen it happen before in a 2009 diary this early. Good start with this win. The Hurricane beating Zack Ryder was a fair decision, good match and I guess Hurricane winning was the best call. Hurricane and Paul Burchill's feud has to have been the most boring feud of 2009. I hated it. End it quickly, don't take months with it. Lastly, good tag team win with William Regal and Ezekiel Jackson beating Christian and Tommy Dreamer. You could have easily had Yoshi Tatsu or Shelton Benjamin team with Christian and Dreamer against the Roundtable, but this works too. Overall, not a bad show, the occasional flaw in booking.
Oh dear, looks like Chaz has your ass on a silver platter.

Nice little opening promo. Like the distaste for the Roundtable starting to come from Regal. Liking the sounds of the stipulation for later on even though it's pretty obvious Regal will get his match. Sheamus attacking Goldust is fine. Shall be interesting to see what goes down next week and how you end up advancing Sheamus on ECW... Liking the bit of cockiness from Christian about facing new opponents. The Dudebusters debuting and winning in a squash is acceptable. Like Hawkins being with them. Weird and awkward segment with Benjamin and Tatsu... Hurricane beating Ryder I can accept. Bored with Burchill and Hurricane though. Lastly, a good main event with Regal getting another shot. Intrigued with the entire break down of the Roundtable as well. A solid show overall.

Anyway, Jack. Basic Superstars show. Glad to see Santino pick up the victory over Haas, he's always been grand. Gail and Kelly getting the win over Maryse and Jillian is good. Jillian really isn't much. I hope you release her like she got in reality. Push Knox plox. He was such a beast. The only thing I ever found wrong with him, really, was his microphone skills.

A good victory for Santino Marella, never really been a fan of Charlie Haas, tbh. Basic divas action, but the right divas won here, definitely the most entertaining. Like you said on MSN, not the greatest Main Event, haha. But still, I'm glad you had Knox go over. Make him a monster and give him a push.

Friday, August 28th 2009; Phoenix, AZ. Jeff Hardy’s music hits to open the shows. Hardy seems overjoyed after successfully retaining his World Heavyweight Championship in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match against CM Punk last night. Hardy is sporting a small limp. Jeff says that he is so happy to finally successfully retain his World Championship on Pay-Per-View. Hardy says that he’s been in a dark place these past few months; he’s been facing a lot of pain while he was stuck in this ongoing duel with Punk but he’s glad it’s now over and through the pain he got back his brother. Jeff says that he can’t wait to start defending his championship like a true champion should against deserving competitors. Teddy Long’s music hits. He congratulates Jeff on retain his championship last night before saying that on the subject of defending championships, he has an announcement to make. Long says that in just over 2 weeks at Unforgiven, Jeff Hardy will defend his World Heavyweight Championship in what we like to call an ‘Adamle Original’. In a Championship scramble match! Tonight four matches will take place to determine Hardy’s challengers in the match. Long says that Jeff should take the night of tonight and watch things play out, ahead of a tough title defence in three weeks time. Jeff thanks Teddy and the two head to the back. COMMERCIAL John Morrison def. R-Truth to qualify for the World Heavyweight Championship ScrambleA great opening contest between two crowd favourites on SmackDown. The match was fairly back and forth up until the end. Neither of these men have had a match on pay-per-view for a few months so a win here would benefit either of them, putting them straight into a main event. The finish came when John dodged a spinning elbow and set Truth up for Starship Pain, giving him the three count. Rey Mysterio walks into Teddy Long’s office backstage. Mysterio says he’s requesting his rematch for the Intercontinental Championship. Long says that he’s way ahead of him and that next week, to open the show, he’s going one on one with Dolph for the Intercontinental Championship. Long goes onto say that tonight, though, he’s got a match in the main event where he’ll take on CM Punk for a spot in the World Heavyweight Championship Scramble Match. Mysterio thanks Teddy before he leaves. COMMERCIAL Mike Knox is backstage, he tells us that he’s sick and tired of facing people he can easily dispose of, he wants some competition and he’s issuing an open challenge for next week’s SmackDown. That is if anyone is even willingly to accept. Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith def. Jimmy Wang Yang and Kung Fu NakiAfter a few weeks of experiencing the main event scene prior to SummerSlam, Kidd and Smith took a step back to the tag division. The two Hart Dungeon trained Superstars didn’t find their opponents, the cowboy and kung fu master, Jimmy Yang and Kung Fu Naki much of an obstacle tonight and it wasn’t long before they put them away with the Hart Attack. COMMERCIAL Matt Hardy def. Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler to qualify for the World Heavyweight Championship via DisqualificationA good first hour main event with Ziggler looking to qualify for his first World Championship Match ahead of his title defence next week. Matt Hardy was looking to get a shot at his brother’s championship on Pay-Per-View. The match went on for a little while until Ziggler undid a turnbuckle cover, distracting the referee as he retrieved his championship from beside the ring. As the referee was distracted Ziggler battered Hardy over the head with the title and covered but the referee saw the mark on Matt’s head and the title next to Ziggler and called for a disqualification. Dolph Ziggler had a fit post-match, punching the ground in anger as Matt Hardy wandered off to the back, celebrating along the way. COMMERCIAL World Heavyweight Champion, Jeff Hardy, is shown walking backstage which gets a pop from the crowd when he walks into CM Punk. Hardy says well look who it is, ‘Mr. I’m better than you’, pretty ironic right. CM Punk sarcastically tells Jeff that he’s funny and that he may have beaten him last night, under his own terms but Punk says that after he wins against Rey Mysterio tonight there aint no way in hell that Hardy is walking out of Unforgiven with the World Heavyweight Championship. Hardy smirks as we cut to the ring. Kane def. The Great Khali to qualify for the World Heavyweight Championship ScrambleA rematch from SummerSlam, this time deciding the fourth participant in the World Championship Scramble match at Unforgiven. It didn’t go for very long and the finish saw Khali get his foot caught on the top rope when Kane ducked a Big Boot allowing Kane to take advantage and nail a Chokeslam for the victory. A promo for Unforgiven airs. The pay-per-view is scheduled for the 13th of September in just over two weeks. COMMERCIAL Chris Jericho is backstage, he walks into Theodore Long’s office asking Teddy what the hell he’s thinking by not booking his number one Superstar in a match on his own show. Teddy says that he didn’t because Jericho already had a match on Monday Night but if he wants a match next week he’s got it. Jericho says that he clearly does and that it would be a travesty if he wasn’t on the show. Long says that Jericho’s got the match then, next week he will go one on one against The Great Khali. The crowd pop as Jericho’s expression changes to a frown and he quickly leaves. Eve and Maria def. Layla and Michelle McCoolAn upset victory here in tonight’s Diva’s match, the usually dominant LayCool were defeated here after Layla blind tagged herself in, trying to get the win for her team when instead Eve swept her legs and hit a Moonsault to go over Layla and the Women’s Champion. Eve signals that she’s coming for the Women’s Championship which McCool simply laughs at. World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy is backstage with Todd Grisham. Grisham asks his thoughts on defending his World Heavyweight Championship against four other men in a Championship Scramble. Hardy says that he’s been in a Scramble before and it’s no easy task. Things can change in an instant. Jeff says that he knows that he doesn’t even have to be pinned to lose his championship. Hardy says that last year he was only seconds away from winning the championship and that since then he has matured, he has improved so there isn’t a doubt in his mind that he can retain his championship. Backstage we see Rey Mysterio warming up for his main event match, which takes place next. COMMERCIAL CM Punk def. Rey Mysterio to qualify for the World Heavyweight Championship ScrambleA great main event which is hopefully the first of many great matches between these two. Back and forth right up until the end when Mysterio was on a roll, connecting with a seated senton, a kick the skull and then a hurricanrana into the ropes. Mysterio looked for the 619 when Dolph Ziggler appeared ontop of the ramp. Ziggler distracted Mysterio as he held his title in the air. Rey asked Dolph what the hell he was doing out here and shook his head before turning around straight into the clutches of CM Punk who connected with the Go to Sleep to advance into the Championship Scramble. Heat rains down on both Punk and Ziggler as Punk celebrates his victory and entry into the World Championship Match at Unforgiven and Ziggler makes his way down to the ring. Dolph stands over Mysterio and shouts that Rey’s time is over and that it’s out with the old and in with the new. Ziggler holds his title over Rey as we go off the air.
