Just got Volkoff and he has TONS of stains on his arms. They are much more bright in person than in the pictures also. Is there anything I can do? I got it from eBay, but they didn't even send it with the jacket on, so it didn't happen just in the package, it must have been like that to start with.

Depends how deep the stains are. If they are DEEP deep, then you have no chance, but if they're not very deep, acetone them off. My elite cena's weren't deep and I got them off, but my kidds were deep, and didnt come off.

I hate this garbage. That's something that should of been nixed before it even became a problem. The figures are ruined. I have about 10 figs that have this problem.

That really sucks. Does this only happen with red shirts, or is it any color? I feel like I should remove them from all of my figures...

Well thats why they are trying too give newer guys rubber shirts to prevent the staining. But everyone is bitchin up a storm about Rey coming with that Rubber shirt no one thinks about stuff like this happening so who knows if there even gonna keep the rubber shirts now. We may be stuck with Cloth and stained figures forever now thanks to all the bitching with out thinkin first. But i agree so many of my figs got stained. Christian, Cena, The Model, etc That is why im excited too see how these rubber shirts turn out

But I've not seen Mattel stuff stain really. My Christian had one nearly invisible block mark, and I've not seen staining till this.

That's a great picture because Volkoff's facial expression makes him look like he's got an itchy rash and needs some ointment.
I don't think anyone believes me but the doll collectors use Oxy-10 style zit creme to remove stains. I have never tried it. Google it and decide for yourself. They put some on the stain and let it dry overnight, then wipeoff, and repeat if needed. Some of those dolls cost huge amounts of money. I don't know if the plastics are different, you might want to test on an unwanted figure, do some research.

Seeing as how the Legends Two-Packs sat on shelves for so long, and still do, these awful stains don't surprise me in the least bit.

Any figure wearing red will likely stain. Others do it as well, but red is the worst. Unfortunately this problem is really, really bad with Mattels.
