what heads have really wavey hair? looking to do a Jungle Boy custom. Jimmy Snuka looks like one who had that super wavy hair. Some of the heads on Edge from Jakks seem to have been pretty wavy, too.

Johnny Nitro has the wavy at the bottom of the hair piece. I used a Snuka Mattel hair piece for a Kenny Omega. X-Pac night work. One of the later HBK jakks sculpts has wavy hair. Screaming Edge has wavy hair.

Hi WrestlingFigs I've just started customizing/ sculpting and wanted to share my progress and get involved on the forum. Here's a Galoob Black Scorpion I'm currently working on. I think I'm applying the paint too thick, I also should have sanded the Milliput a little before painting

I think I'm applying the paint too thick, I also should have sanded the Milliput a little before painting Yeah, I feel you. It appears, as I just figured out tonight, that if you thin the paint before you apply it, it works so much better. I'm sure there is a "Customizing 101" thread around here somewhere I should have read before starting these, but to be fair, I am learning something new every day, and that makes it fun. AND, although I am new myself, let me welcome you to the board. I like what you've done so far! Keep it up!

Ok, so that one custom of mine isn't going as well as I had hoped. There is a huge problem... She's WAY too tall. I thought I could justify it by the massive pumps she is wearing, but even with those, she is a good 6 inches too tall (in comparison to Shane).
So question is. How do you change out the legs on a figure? I'm thinking of starting the figure from scratch using my spare Nikki Bella body, as she is closer to the right height, but I need to swap out the lower legs for something that doesn't have the ribbed socks. Any suggestions? Note that I am a huge newbie at this and have never swapped anything beyond a head. Again, I can paint skintones to match, I just need some help in making her tiny. (Think Alexa Bliss size.)

(Think Alexa Bliss size.) Best way to swap parts imo is to get a pan of water boiling on the stove, once its at boiling temp you can turn down the heat a little just to maintain the temp. Dip in the parts for 30 seconds or however long is needed. I have a bathroom towel near by and sometimes gloves if the water is extremely hot. Once you've soaked the part you want off in the water, pop it off from the figure. To put back on repeat the process but only heat the female part of the joint. Shoes/feet have peg joints. Separating at the knee there is a peg that you can push out with a screwdriver once heated. Just push on it til it pops out. Heat up parts except the peg to reinstall. Hip peg has ball joints on the newer figs, older figs had a ratchet style leg/hip peg that was extremely annoying and harder to get off. Lower stomach joint needs to be cracked either by the torso or the thigh part and requires lots of practice and super glue to put back together. Elbows same process as knees, wrists and arms same as shoes. Hope this helps

So TIL that part swapping (beyond heads) is above my skill level. I did everything you guys said. I boiled the water. I put figures in. I popped parts out...
No Problem.
But getting the NEW feet on the OLD figure is impoosible. I have tried everything. I can't do it. I'm trying to put a Natalya Series 61 basic feet on a basic series Stephanie body. I cannot do it. I can get one peg in each foot and then it gets stuck. I have no idea what to do. I actually boiled down an entire pot of water trying to figure it out.
Basically, help.

So I managed to figure out the feet... after I mangled the one peg hole. But I made it work, and now I'm onto the jacket. And frankly, my fingers and hands are killing me from this, it took two hours to do, and the grey part is all splotchy because I mixed the paint rather than buy heather gray paint, and I kept running out and having to remix... But all that said, her goes.. And the jacket isn't even the hardest part... That is sculpting the face, which I am probably going to fail miserably at, but oh well.
